  1. Probably the one time I'm glad those are stickers on Nedry's computers since I wanted to replace the computer builds with boxy versions from the 90s, they currently look too thin and modern.
  2. Oh, I thought the old one was far better printed as a Jurassic Park tyrannosaur, except it was just too orange. The recolored game version of it is perfect. Maybe combining the old one's legs and upper jaw with everything else on the new one would be a good combination, so you can have the light tan lower jaw and stomach and less orange colors. It's just the head and striped legs on the new one seem too weird and inaccurate for me. On another note, while Rexy does seem green in Jurassic Park's explorer attack scene probably due to the rain and lighting, her and the other female tyrannosaur are most definitely brown while it's the males that are green.
  3. Not sure I like the new rex, I was hoping they wouldn't use orange at all this time, which was my only problem with the last one. I'm also not sure about the stripe patterns, especially on the legs. They are kind of accurate for a younger Rexy, but those were only on her back. Zia does look cool, i like her sneaker printing.
  4. Agreed, I bought the blue nightwing off bricklink and eventually saw the Arkham breakout movie online, and I think that was the worst one. If the Flash movie really doesn't have a figure, that's got to be a first since the Batman beleaguered movie. I wonder why they decided to skip it this time. Super Lex is pretty interesting, a much better choice of variant than that pirate Batman for sure but I'll have to pass on it, though it's strange that they keep using the old Loki head for him. I can't wait to see what the Aquaman movie will bring though, it sounds like it's going to be great and if they designed Arthur and Manta to be very comic accurate in the film as rumors have said, they would make nice variants should they be included in sets, though I'm more excited about possibly getting Orm.
  5. I think dark tan would be good for dirty blonde hair. I mean I think Tim's hair color is fine for representing that in a more orangey color, and I'm going the Emmett route with Alan too, but I thought Lex was obviously more blonde than her brother.
  6. You know, im still buying that set, but I'd be lying if i said i wasn't a bit disappointed. The builds are actually well done, and I didn't even think they'd recreate the jello. I love the Nublar map and the Nedry gif on the computer, though I think my favorite part of this whole thing is the embryonic room, it'll be nice to display with Wu in there. The Jurassic Park logo kind of feels tacked on, and so is the inclusion of that damned cheap stud shooter, but at least those two problems are fixable. I'm still disappointed that Lex isn't blonde or didn't even use that new cap+ponytail headpiece as well as Ellie lacking dual arm molding. Dilophosaur set looks cool too, though I don't get why baby Blue is in it, especially without Owen.
  7. Well they did make that helicopter set with Blue yet she and Wheaton aren't even exclusive to that set as both also appear in the mansion. Honestly i wouldn't mind a dinosaur transport truck as long as it was movie accurate. It'd be much better if it included an herbivore like a Stegosaurus, but it does seem that Universal is pushing for Rexy to be front and center with merchandising, so I'm glad i didn't get her in that tracker set.
  8. That shark didn't look full grown at all. And besides, it was an attraction at the park, not a plot point other than establishing that they have a Mosasaurus. Anyway, i think people remember the Mosasaurus being this huge When it was actually just large enough to have to clamp down on the neck of the Indominus
  9. The mosasaurus was sized up from 50 to 60 ft in the film, its just that one perspective shot that makes it look ginormous, so a figure thats about the size of a rex would be accurate to both the films and reality.
  10. I get him, I'm not a Harry Potter fan either, although the sets did look pretty awesome, so many location-based ones with cool elements and pieces. Also the only scene its known for, this must be our way of getting a wrangler and Nedry. I wonder what we're getting out of the two Fallen Kingdom sets now.
  11. Oh, the listing I saw wasn't that high, probably around the $100-180 range, I didn't even know the hogwarts set would be that big. As much as I'd wish for a huge Jurassic Park set, that price would kill me.
  12. Wasn't there a list of D2Cs that had prices and themes accounted for? I thought there was only one that was simply listed as "licensed IP" and was what we were guessing to be the 25th anniversary set. Pretty interesting if there's another slot left open though. Definitely new shots of the museum sticker displays, dimetrodon on one side and coelyphysis with T. Rex and gallimimus in the background on the other. We can also finally see the box art clearly for the name of Toby Jones' character, Gunnar Eversol, along with Maisie's last name being Lockwood.
  13. The shooter is definitely silver, compare it to the light grey pieces on the helicopter. You're right that the button colors are different, but keep in mind that Alan and Tim were found with their weird accessories in a mixed up lot of Marvel and Jurassic figures that were not well put together, including Wheatley.
  14. It does leave more to be desired but I am now intrigued by those brown display panels with glass transparent pieces, they look well made and I wonder what printed displays are going to be behind them. I still find it odd that we don't have Ben Lockwood himself in his own home. On another note, I noticed Ken Wheatley not only holds a raptor claw but his studshooter is silver like the one that leaker keeps leaving on Alan Grant, so that should put those rumors of it being a poor excuse for a spas 12 to rest.
  15. I feel like that's been a given at this point, with all the figure leaks coming out of nowhere with no leaked information beforehand. Then again by that logic that could mean those last three sets have a possibility of making up a Jurassic Park wave. This whole Fallen Kingdom line was an improvement over the last one in terms of builds, I'm so glad we're getting a lot of realistic locations from the film this time, and the vehicles do look better as well. I really want to see good pictures of the manor interior and I guess this does leave that baby Blue figure for a polybag.
  16. I also saw another Ellie Sattler image showing her alternate face, they gave her an unfitting smug expression with a raised eyebrow, the Holdo head would look better if you erased the cheekbones. Out of the four leaked, it seems Ellie really needs improvements the most.
  17. So there's a video of the Alan Grant figure and I have to say I'm very happy with it, especially since the face looks similar to the game version's except he has crow's feet wrinkles near his eyes as well as a mole, so he looks a lot more like Sam Neill, though I'm tempted to erase it. I think I'll replace the tan legs with darker ones, and I might just modify and attach a hat with a hairpiece. It's the same review guy, and yes he still has Alan holding that stud shooter for some reason.
  18. Yeah this is a JP toy:
  19. Oh yeah I forgot about this too. People were pointing out that the Lego baby raptor looks like this toy and in turn now looks like the leaked Lego figure. Muldoon did say the Big One was even more intelligent than the usual raptor, so she did set the high bar. She was a straight up psychopath, even if she got duped by a reflection and one of her packmates got locked in a fridge. By kids, the greatest threats to raptors in these movies.
  20. It does make you wonder if they look at photos of animatronics more than shots of the film. The leaked raptor is more brown other than its skin tone being dark flesh like Echo and the T. Rex, so I think it's safe to say it's meant to be a JP raptor, especially if we're getting just one set. TLW raptors seemed pretty skilled at stealthily picking off people in the long grass, its just the trio that chased Malcolm's group were the least efficient hunters, though I thought they intelligently tricked Sarah and Kelly by making them dig themselves out from the building.
  21. If we were to get lost world sets this would be possible, as males are green in Jurassic films. I'm pretty sure it's not a lost world raptor, the actual JP raptor animatronics are brownish-tan with brown short stripes on its back, except most of it was dulled down to grayish tones in the film. A lost world raptor would look closer to the 2012 raptor, bright orange and white stomach with green eyes and long black stripes on its back and legs, which I prefer to JP3's duller gray raptors.
  22. I really doubt Alan and Tim were holding actual accessories, there's no place for a red phone and a silver stud shooter with transparent blue studs. The latter would be a pretty bad spas12 considering other options for guns. I'm not sure how to feel about this new report, I mean I'll take anything JP but I'm hoping we get more than two rooms of the visitor center, they must know they're missing out on our wallets by not making a jeep and an explorer. Though I suppose this could just mean they want to save stuff for more sets. Precious plastics, but $70? Where'd you hear that from?
  23. I went on google images for "raptor jurassic park" Ah, yeah I just looked at the source and it says it's a full scale maquette and I know those can turn out different from the film versions. I was thinking the same thing, but I did find a still from the kitchen scene where you can see the stripes on the tails of the raptor, so it's not so far off. I also think Lego already made a raptor that looks closer to the tiger striped lost world males in their 2012 Dino line.
  24. I agree, for all we know the leaker just found random parts and gave them to Alan and Tim. But anyway, I love that JP raptor! At first I was confused about the dark brown stripes but then I saw this picture where you can clearly see them:
  25. Where'd you see Alan with his hat on? Did he have the same face from the first leak? Because I kind of didn't like that face either, and it seems like Sam Flynn's head from the leaked Tron figures would be a good replacement. I think Lex has Tim's head so I can't wait to see her actual head for an otherwise perfect figure, though I'm kind of disappointed with Ellie's lack of dual arm molds as I feel like she deserved them the most. I'm fine with those legs even if she was showing a lot more leg then say Muldoon in the film.
