I honestly don't get the hype for baby groot, I mean I guess he's cute if not kind of forced...I dunno. I'd rather they'd make a regular, minifig sized adult groot. Anyway, I'm thinking they'll use the baby body mold with a new head mold.

We never see any movie sets in the catalogue, huh? I think the only exception was the wave of Ultron sets.

The LEGO Batman Movie Set/CMF Rumors & Discussion
vstat05 replied to Sir Gareth's topic in LEGO Licensed
Guys, I think Tears of Batman is the first figure to have yellow hips in such a long time. That gives me hope for Hawkgirl and other characters that would need them. -
the thing with the super jumpers is that you're not supposed to jam the legs in, but rather press down on the super jumper BEFORE fitting in the legs of the minifigure, that's how they slip in and then stay on tight. I still wouldn't use them at all since their point is to throw the figure at something and nobody wants cracks or print damage in their figures. Anyway, it does look like the blaster feature would cause arms to crack, especially white, tan, flesh and brown arms. Those colors I always see cracks on.

i think he meant the pricing, it does get annoying when all everyone is doing is the talking about pricing. -
Oh, that makes even better sense then.

I agree with you, it seems that they've been using comic, movie and tv show influences under the Avnegers Assemble brand, which is so great, and this also shows in the Spider-Man sets too. The best example; the Red Skull tank set seemed like Lego based it off The First Avenger. I do think it makes sense that they gave Hammer the Detroit Steel armor, as I do remember him being surrounded by American flag imagery in IM2.

The LEGO Batman Movie Set/CMF Rumors & Discussion

One thing I'm grateful for is the fact that most of these aren't really desirable to me, such as the sillier batsuits and obscure villains, and that the ones I do want such as James Gordon, Red Hood, Lobster Batman, and Rubber Duck Batman don't seem to have any issues. I do see a lot of useful parts, such as the bat shark repellent that I'll give to the 1966 Batman and Catman's legs that I'll give to Wolverine. -

I just realized, they totally skimped out on us with those dual mold black legs with yellow hips and boots that Tarantula has in the movie but not in the actual set she comes in. I would've so used those for Sinestro. -
I think the robbers will have printed masks, because I really don't see them making new molds, and I'd say the Hulk and Captain America masks would be easier to pull off that way, maybe Iron-Man.

that classic boomerang would be cool to get, but I would prefer to get the blue trench coat look, like the Lego Batman 2 version. -

Honestly I wouldn't mind if they'd have just given him normal arms and that bat wing neck piece in brown instead, along with dual molded and printed leg. -

I'm glad I didn't get the fear harvest Scarecrow, this one is looking much better with the brown hat and yellow straw hair. -

James Gordon does seems to be getting retired or something, seeing as Barbara is taking his position as commissioner, so I'd guess that would be a reason to age up Renee, although I just see those wrinkles as eye bags. -
Actually, I'd say this newer juniors head is more acccurate, it's got eyebrows just as Freeze did in BTAS.

Scarecrow's head looks so much better, it seems like an update to the 2007 version judging by the shape of the mouth. Also, am I the only one who thinks Two-Face looks really gruesome? I mean I'm not bothered at all, but there's straight up just flesh hanging over the exposed skull. -

I definitely wanna get half of these and get the others for parts. My favorites have to be Robes Batman, Swimsuit Batman, Dick Grayson, James Gordon, Nurse Harley, and Red Hood. The Arkham jumpsuit is much appreciated to get multiples of, as well as those guns that Red Hood has. Red Hood's head looks a lot better for Jason Todd than the one they actually gave him in that killer croc set. Commissioner Gordon looks so cool, and that heavy metal Batman's cowl would look great for a custom George Clooney version. -

I don't really see any inspiration from 'The Batman'. Joker has always had an oversized smile especially in every animated show. That one Exoforce hairpiece is closer to the show than the new hairpiece, which is just a bigger crazier version of his usual slicked-back hair in the comics. I think Joker's new design is just that, another unique take, with the sharp teeth and the skull patterned tie. -

I like that lego tried that dome and armor combination for Mr. Freeze, but it's just that the colors they chose for the overall figure don't match up well. I think dual molded boots could have helped here, and they'd have been better off using a different color for either the armor or the head. Although I think the head will look better once it's on the 2013 variant, as the Arkham City version had bluer skin. -

I feel like people are being harsh. Clayface has always had a distinctive frog-like head in BTAS, my only problem is all the studs. Scarecrow's set is pretty nice, as much as everyone wished he had a different hat and torso. -

The brick built clayface looks cool and all (judging from the trailer) but I'd prefer a minifigure that I can stick into an Arkham cell. Well that and because of my nostalgia for the first Lego Batman game. -

I really want to see better pictures of the Arkham set's interior. I have the past two sets and I'm wondering if it'd be worth it to combine all 3. -
No thanks, but I appreciate the offer.

Man, I wish I had the pieces and money to make this! It's so awesome to see this really built, and I love that you added figures and the tyrannosaurs, I'm really glad you did that!
