  1. Where do you find these pictures?
  2. No, it's not. There is also mentioning of licensing for the classics.
  3. I did talk about the content of that thread, didn't I? The article talks about Mattel doing the reboot GB *and* the classics. So the article isn't exclusively talking about the reboot. There is no direct reference to Lego doing the reboot. Nor is there that they are only doing the classic. But to conclude Lego is doing a theme based on the reboot, solely from the information in said article, is stretching the information a bit to far.
  4. I know. That article quotes a thread on these boards. But in that thread there is no confirmation that Lego holds the rights to the GB reboot. Only that Lego is aboard the GB license. So it might as well talk about this HQ and Dimensions.
  5. I haven't seen any confirmation of this.
  6. How do we know that the reference to Lego in that article is not just about the HQ and the Dimensions sets, but about a new line?
  7. How do we know that the reference to Lego in that article is not just about the HQ and the Dimensions sets, but about a new line? Edit: So, this was meant to go in the other topic :-\
  8. Interesting topic. I'll keep an eye on it!
  9. Might as well ask it here... Jim, any chance you still will review the Crawler Crane?
  10. So, The Yellow Submarine has reached 10,000 votes. Hope this one passed the review stage. It would be an instant buy for me. https://ideas.lego.com/projects/102950
  11. Congrats on the mention on that site!
  12. LOL! That's funny! :-)
  13. This, and a BTTF II quote ;-)
  14. Has anyone ever tried the original Inglenook in 6-wide scale? Or maybe Timesaver?
  15. Since there is no real-life counterpart to your Lego Loch Ness monster, your version is as accurate as any other ;-)

Welcome to EB! You can always try and look it up at Brickset: http://brickset.com/sets/theme-Technic
  17. I didn't think there were rooms next to the garage door. But then I realized I confused the real firehouse in New York City (which I visited twice), used for outdoor shots only, with the firehouse in California that was used for the interior shots. Great build, looking good so far! Will the be a cellar with containment unit in the base?
  18. Shark still looks fake.
  19. You have seen pictures?! Wow! *jealous*
  20. I wouldn't hold my breath. A new theme would IMHO only appeal to fans of the films, not to Lego's target audience, children. From what I have understand from comments on this forum, The Hobbit sets didn't do very well (?) even though there was a direct movie tie-in (as in a movie that actually screened at the time) and The Hobbit also has a huge fan following. I also don't think a D2C set like the Simpsons' or the GBHQ will be made. The only real iconic building from BTTF would be the court house, but we only ever see that from the outside. There would be nothing from the movies to put inside. Maybe Doc's garage, but that is not really an iconic building, again, IMHO.
  21. This was posted in the other Elves thread:
  22. Wow, that cover looks terrible! And what's up with those car keys in that picture?
  23. Watched the movie again tonight (and again enjoyed it). The round blue decorations with the star are also in the first movie: http://flickreel-images.s3.amazonaws.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/06/Ghostbusters_firestation-640x420.jpg But why they are not in every scene, I don't know... http://static.businessinsider.com/image/53593c3a6bb3f7e77f632c09/image.jpg
  24. Nothing as per topic subject. But a train and a tram are self steering vehicles and I don't think there will be al lot of (if any) functions to be added. Could make some beautiful expert models of classic (steam)trains and trams, though.
