Hehe, no, I like the Gungans, I know a lot of people just decide to hate the whole pieces since Jar Jar came to resemble everything that was bad with the POM, and I do agree about Jar Jars character jokes and behavior became to much sandbox, but gungans as specie itself doesn't deserve to get all that criticism just for one character, star wars rasism I claim ;). By other words, I like Gungans, and to create a good battleground scenery between battle droids and gungans wee need more of them, that doesn't look like Jar Jar Binks.

Somebody here mentioned the idea of Jawas or Tusken Raiders. I think that lego with excepion of mandalorians, have not really exploited the opportunities of making battle packs that are non stormtroopers or rebels, such as ewok, wookie, jabba guards, geonsians, gungans, cloud city or naboo guards battle packs...

Well, I still prefer more expensive sets and worse promotions than being shot at by the police for no reason what so ever

I think you you excuse them too much. when there are sooooo many settings they never turn into sets, and they repeat the same too often, locations that are of more importans than the ones they repeat, there is simply no explanation to it, rather than making it easy for themselves. Lego SW should have been getting more sets from Genosis, Kashwyk, Cloud City, Naboo (remember I said locations not vehicles), Coruscant, Utapau and Dagobah, and figures like Boss Nass, Rune Hako, Ponda Baba, Dr Evezan, Lama Su, Bail Organa and Nien Numb instead if countless of Boba Fetts and X-Wings... You are right that there should be a balance between old and new collectors, but you are wrong that their ain such a balance. Goldfish memory in the making

Well how few people does lego have to come up with new SW designs, that's the million dollar question, me personally, if I worked 40 hours effectively a week, and me only with designing new lego set, an updated Landspeeder would be less than 1 week, I assure you, that's no excuse. And if it's the case that they only have one person designing all sw set annually, it would of course explain the situation, but the solution would be simple, employ one more person...

There are FB groups that do leak info and picture and that does not remove the pictures either, so I don't think there is a catastrophy that EB is more compliant with the TLG, with or without EB, we still see leaks...

Come to think about it, if lego have higher prices for location sets because they think they sell better per piece, why don't they make more? Me for once almost always buys all location sets I can get, they are more fun to play with and you can expose your mini figure set up more visibly and in more variety of ways + it's not like most of the star wars movies and series spend most of the time in space battles. It just hit me when you said that. Very strange actually...

Thats not really a relevant comparison, its a difference of A Y-wing and THE Falcon in terms of whar kind of story they expose

I think the old tusken heads were really ugly, and most often I prefer more than less details. I like molded heads and hope that every figure that is not a humanoid will at some time get a mold, such as weequays, neimodians and niktos which at present only have head prints

I agree about maul byt not about tusken raider st all. That molded head was one of the best sw molds ever

Besides, it's not only me complaining it's my daughter as well, and she's only two, how bad aren't they then? I actually wrote TLG a long letter just a few minutes ago complaining how lazy and boring they become lately, that's even better if more of us did then refusal to buy or silent wining...

And for now let's pretend it matters and instead of buying these sets we are not satisfied with, let us send our demands to lego and explain to them their responsibility to provide us with a Bantha! ;)

Are lego only getting worse and worse? How lazy wasn't that, I will only BL the skiffguard, thats it...

I've used a bunch of different typer of paint, best one so far is the one for painting warhammer (games workshop), however even that one, you can scratch off if you use some force if you don't spray them first, but if u r just a bit careful their colours will do the trick

I think generally lego should have a better variety of weapons, they just have 3 regular sw weapons and not many extra special, only one I can think of is chewies bow. in the absence of alternatives, I'm happy brickarms and brick forge exists... I assume this tread will be dying soon since there is no much roomers left for this year

Just think that the U-wing is an ugly-megablocks ship, and it gets uglier the more high quality picture I see, the shuttle is very nice though and the At-ST as well, do I will get all figures without exception, which has never happened before

My parents, who have had pretty high income when I was a child would never have paid 600 usd (minimum price it b over here) for a present to me, thats for sure. N I dont know 2 many swedish parents who would do that, even if they can afford it, just by principle. Well probably the same head as suggested above, kordis head, but I never use a head more then once if it's not clone heads, so I would probably try to go custom if I wanted to make another female charachter who doesn't have light flesh, maybe check http://minifigs.me for custom printing?
