If lego wanted to have more of the 2017 wave wrapped under the christmas tree, then they should have released these sets 4-3 weeks ago

Well, yes you probably right, but I didn't have the energy or the time to check every BR in stockholm, that would take the whole day and would never be worth the time or transport money to do so. But I got a great deal anyway, I got the A-wing fighter pilot, the gingerbread man and the snow globe as bonus! So if you count the money of them separately, I basically got the Y-Wing at half price! After seeing the movie today I really hope to get some more alien rebels!

You were so right! I called to one store today and they said that the launch the sets on monday, so yes, the sale is probably to clear the shelves. So I guess the only choice then I have is the lego store. I gonna see R1 in three hours and have to build that Y-Wing when I get home. But at least lego store has double VIP's the A-wing pilot and Gingerbread guy as a bonus if you buy and the legostore is on my tramline, so no hustle to pass in on way to town ;)

They have all sets on a 30 % discount on BR in Sweden the whole weekend, but they don't have any sets in stock on internet yet, hope they get something before sunday ends! I really want that Moroff but I refuse to pay full lego price for new sets...

Let's hope you are right on your statement that they can change the minifig line up at the last minute, because I look forward to the Quadjumper, but I won't buy it with that minifig line up. Even if I'm yet to see R1, but what I've heard so far, I can take the change to agree

@Stash2Sixx Have your source never been wrong before? I just think that two things sounds too weird to be true with this list, first the quad jumper, the choice of mini figures doesn't make sense. I mean if that's what they will include, it won't sell at all to kids and AFOLs who buy sets for mini figures because nothing is new and the present generation of lego buying kid probably already have all of them because they are in a number of sets already and cheap sets as well. Additionally, lego has never made a battle pack with non-generic characters, that's why I doubt Dengar and IG-88, although I love the idea of it and would actually personally prefer generic ones such as someone mentioned here, a connection to the henchmens of the hutt in freemakers than getting the classics all over again. And also, chewbacca again in the Rather set? Not as unbelievable as the other sets but would only make sense if he comes with a new mold or print. Otherwise look forward to a new none clonish ugly face Aayla, the battle packs and the Rather set (if they don't include a rather in that set, the world will experience the first suicide bomber with lego motives, haha), nothing else so far interest me otherwise, although I hope they get a new contribution of mini figures for the free makers others than the ones mentioned because they did not sound too interesting either. Really hope for a AT-ACT thought for R1, and some more location set!

Yes, however if they consider that the first premiere was in US in may, I'm kind of surprised that it seems like no one has heard anything yet, feels like time is a bit overdue for huge surprises by that time. However, most other countries were introduced to ANH during the fall and winter so the might delay the anniversary celebration until end of next year

oh then it seems like a local bug, definitely... but still think it's strange that the retire so many sets, it's almost like they plan to down scale the sw lego brand, which would make sense I think without the new movies coming annually but with those, I'm sure even the popularity of sw products will increase so wouldn't make sense business wise

Yes, I've been thinking about that too, and I don't think it's a bug if it's not the entire system, because like half of the sets are retiring, even most of the winter 2016 sets are retiring, I've not collected more than two years so dunno how it was before but at least last year, no 2015 sets were retiring so I assumed the usually stay on shelves for 1.5 years at least. when it comes to USC, how long has the previous ones stayed on shelves before retiring, let alone the DS of course? Now Ewok Village like 3,5 years and the Sand Crawler 2,5?

Technically that would be true, at least in Europe, don't know about Asia though. So the Europeans discuss the coming winter sets here and the americans in the 2017 thread ;)

With the risk of going off topic, sorry administrators... but I'm sure if one is around people daily that are not nuns, then hearing people saying megabluck about something is daily, so I see that hard to be something to be upset about...

Word brother This is what I usually do, I buy the set ot the first good sale (in this case I got the shuttle for 55 euros) than I resold it without the minifies on a lego FB group for 40 euros, so paid 15 euros for all six figures, I've done this numerous times and its the cheapest way to get new figures.

Serious, to just paint Thrawns eyes take like 1 second, But to get a for example a Bantha instead of a land speeder, how do you just build a good looking bantha in one second?

I don't understand the there seem to be more people here being upset buy the ranking insignia of thrawn and the colour of Lando's shirt rather the totally meager sets... some sw lego fans are just totally loco, that's the only way I can perceive it. Just saw the prices in Swedish at the lego store, at least they ain't got any higher from last winter release and no access until the 1st january it seems like.

Well... I already knew this would be terrible choices of new sets so no surprises here, I'll maybe buy an A-wIng if it goes on sale, like at least 30 % below standard pricing. I'll also brick link the skiff guard and Han's hair... that's it

Well except the A-wing, and the pilot, the rest is not really new or unique, maybe Sabrines here, Darth Vader is in a couple of set and in the new DS you also get a better Tarkin + Vaders Tie

The guys on the american continent have that system of exclusives and stuff, we don't so no worries, it will show up among the other sets at lego store when they are released. At least that has always been the case before in Sweden, would be surprised if it worked differently in France since lego usually have the same kind of policy and offers in Europe.

At least both of them should show up on lego store when the rest of the sets are announced, like latest in mid december right? Wasn't it like that last year?
