Cypr-21's workshop
Cypr-21 replied to Cypr-21's topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale Modeling
Hi, I'm back after holidays, and I'll present you my new MOC, a wheel loader with power function. It's full controlled by power functions, with one XL motor to drive (AWD), one M motor to control the steering system (with 2 LA), one M motor to lift the arm and another M motor to tilt the bucket. I spent a long time to build a 'clean' MOC, because I wanted hide all wires and PF elements into the loader. Here is a video to show how it works. -

Hi ! I recently made this crawler to Fanabriques 2012 Trial Truck contest. It uses somes parts for trial truck from the Unimog set like springs, towball, and portal hubs. I made the instructions and you can download it here -
Here is my entry for the Eurobricks contest : I named it CC Labrador (first letters of my name and surname, and a random name). I used some parts from the city set 7287, and the power function system to drive it. There is a small battery box (more adjusted for light studfull construction), an IR receiver (and the simple remote) and 2 M motors. Each motors drive a propeller, so I can drive by running both in the same time and steer by running one or another one. To explain easier, it works like the bulldozer 8275. And to finish, another picture which show where the components are placed : And the video :

9395 Tow Truck
Cypr-21 replied to Tadej's topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale Modeling
IMO the gearbox is in this model just for the motorisation. The designer could made a very simple model with simple functions, without the motorisation (like the Backhoe 8069 last year). I think he had received orders from TLG because last year no sets could add the power function set 8293. -

During holidays, I made this video of my snow groomer in real conditions. What do you think about it ? -

No, I really wanted to play with it in the snow, but I was at school during it was snowing, and when I had free time to play and make a video, the snow melted But I think I'll ski during next holidays, so I'll take it with me to try it -

My latest (last ? - In don't know the good word) creation : a snow groomer. I used orange parts because the usual red exaust me... There are 6 functions, 5 functions by Power Function and one manually, 4 M motors, 2 IR receiver and 1 Battery Box (obviously). -
Vampire GT
Cypr-21 replied to Kronos's topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale Modeling
Yes, because I haven't all parts in light bluish grey. I'm curently missing some red parts, but I'll receive the parts in few time. I really appreciate the building instructions, they are very understandable, and much more interesting than instructions from TLG. Very good job -

The 2011 Wrap-up Topic
Cypr-21 replied to captainmib's topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale Modeling
I built a lot of MOCs this year : 2 road grader (one which is a One Set Moc from 8052), supercar, trial truck (one by myself, and Unimog V4 from Nico71), crawler crane, 8071 reverse enginnering, wheel loader from Nico71, Unimog 8110 attachments, garbage truck, Bugatti type 21, tow truck, tractor, and my last MOC : studless adaptation from #8460 pneumatic crane truck. I own all 2011 sets, and my faourite is probably the 8071. But all are very good Happy new year guys ! This time, I'm waiting for summer 2012 sets -

Hm, sorry, I posted before saw your post on TechnicBRICKS. So Lego starts to change gradually the Technic triangle, like they made for the new 16t gears. -
Instead of using a second Battery Box and XL motor, could you try to use rear Unimog PTO to work the trailer from B-model 8258 ?
