Missed out on both of today's Amiibo preorders. Incidentally, if anyone here managed/s to get an extra NESS and would sell or trade for some LEGO, let me know. Really want to get one for someone for his birthday which is just after release.

Sounds interesting. Hoop me through and count me in. -
Up for grabs, I've got a used but excellent condition LEGO City Undercover game for WiiU. I'm asking $30 cash or trade. I will trade for LEGO. Below is a list of stuff I'm looking for but reasonable offers will be considered. Bulk system parts (not HF or Bionicle) The LEGO Movie polybags - Western Emmet, Robot DJ Simpsons food\drink items. 9v Straight track Working micro motor VIP keychain Fabuland specialty parts and figures Technical figures Minidolls (Friends, Princess, Elves) Animals (system, friends, duplo) other than snakes, spiders, rats, bats

I don't have videos but here are some photos where I've used a backdrop. Click the images to see larger version on Flickr. Blue posterboard Printed sky background (night) Printed background Cloud background LEGO Movie Studio backdrop

I've used a cloud paper as a backdrop to good effect. I glued it to a sheet of foam core board and used it behind the set. You need to remember to light it correctly and place it so the clouds are the correct size for your shot.

General Discussion and Announcements
Darkdragon replied to Dragonator's topic in LEGO Mafia and Role-Play Games
Hi davide. While your enthusiasm is appreciated, your post in Brick Flicks & Comics is plenty and the appropriate place to post an animation. We prefer you don't repost things in multiple forums. -
I can't speak for the animating of the arrows but I can explain the parts in that video. The arrows at the beginning from the crossbows are not LEGO but are custom items from Brickwarriors. The arrows shit from bows are cut out if the bows and you can see the remnants of them in the bowstrings in some shots.

Wow congrats! It's just too impossible here, for example at least one of the BB here got zero of the last BB exclusive and the rest of them got 3-6. It's all just horribly impossible. Maybe I just don't have quite enough drive to get these, or I'm too old to stand out in the cold
-
The likelyhood of finding one here (OK) is very low. There are some insane collectors and the city usually gets very few exclusives to go around.

The best way to not have errors in your post is to slow down, take your time, and think about what you are saying. There is no reason to rush, the reply window doesn't have a countdown timer. -
Walter comes to us with another wonderful brick film. This great Seinfeld-esque movie is full of wonderful characters, jokes, and of course superb animation. He didn't skimp on builds for this project either, with so many impressive locations and tons of attention to detail, you might want to watch it twice! Pop on over to Brick Flicks & Comics forum and check it out!

There's still an OKC LUG? I thought the whole thing was dead, I don't use facebook and found nothing but dead links using google search. A real website, even just one page would be helpful. Scheduled monthly meetings would be helpful, put these on the website and make it consistent. People might not show up much at first but it should grow once it's known. Basically just getting the word out and making sure the information can be found through search engines is a huge deal. Having a consistent meeting place and time/day are important so people can begin to plan showing up. Once meetings are happening, start doing small events like moc contests and parts draws.

I built a custom baseball stadium, but the field and players are not l
Darkdragon replied to kc2dc's topic in Community
I like the look of the stadium. There is no way to really do the field this size in a purist LEGO fashion, so using the other brand printed plates was a good way to do it. I'd personally switch out all figure parts possible to do in LEGO and only keep the ones that don't exist (we do have the gloves as you know with Stackers players, and bats which came with the red baseball players and in other recent sets as well). When I do use non-LEGO figure parts, I still try to switch out anything I can, like unprinted legs I will switch out for the LEGO version, accessories and weapons as well. I don't think it "ruins" the moc or your city in general to use some of these non-LEGO parts. As a big fan of the game, I'd love to have something like this if I had a city display. -
The Ghostbusters and the Ecto-1

Your link doesn't load the video you seem to be mentioning in the title. Please fix it or the thread will be locked. If you intend on posting someone else's video, you need to mention in the description that it isn't your work and make sure it isn't already in the forum. Thanks. -
Eurobricks' forum uses BBCode not HTML for posts, so when you go to the "link" part of Flickr sharing, you need to select "BBCode" above the little box with the code in it. It should have brackets [ and ] rather than arrows < and > Another thing is that it looks like you are trying to stick a slideshow or video into the post. Videos from Flickr won't work to embed in EB, you'd have to link that one.

Can you tell us what's going on for this video, is this you leonsio123?

These are very bright, nice lights. I'd rather have a small battery than USB though probably. Did you make the review video?- 10 replies

The dark blue arches are pretty inexpensive these days. Only around $2, use to be around $25-30

I don't know, I haven't found much in the way of AFOL community in the area yet. You might want to join DFWLUG (branch of TexLUG) and ask there.
