Robert8, I know you know that image was too large to be posting here. The 1024 rule isn't for size visually but it's for size because some users are not on fast speed connections. I can assure you that the software the forum is running on was not changed so it must be related to your browser or computer that things are working differently all of a sudden.
-
I can tell you nothing changed with EB and drag and drop are features of the browser so I'm sure that whatever is going on you'll just need to change your workflow. It's really not going to be something on my list of things focus on since the normal way of copy/paste a deep link works perfectly. Hopefully you can manage to find a browser that works the way you'd like or just get use to doing it the way the rest of us do
-
That is not something Flickr supports. The Flickr page will size the image based on the browser size, you can't control what size that image is displayed as. To get to that link you can simply go to the Flickr page you want to link to and copy the URL and paste that as a link into your post. You can go to the "view all sizes" and click the one you want and right click the image to grab the deep link url for that image, paste that into your post as a link or as an image, but it will just be the image not the Flickr page.

No, it's not new. You should not be uploading pictures directly to EB unless you are staff. The amount of space we provide is for avatars. The amount of space allocated changes with your rank and the amount of space you've already used. So you've probably uploaded less previously so you have more left. That's not the same thing as uploading a picture to the forum. Did your browser update? Drag and drop features are managed by the browser.

I find this set very adorable. Do you have any narrow gauge track to try it on, to see if it fits?

THIS IS NOT MY WORK Hamster Productions has created an absolutely amazing brickfilm with a great story, lovely animation, and perfect sound editing. It's about 15 minutes long and worth every second!

[REVIEW] 71391 Super Mario Bowser's Airship
Darkdragon replied to Darkdragon's topic in LEGO Licensed
I am planning to build a minifig pirateship with it since we have two of the set. -
Jessica Rabbit: I'm not bad. I'm just drawn that way.
Darkdragon replied to Jefry Been's topic in Special LEGO Themes
I think you'll get more traction in Special Themes were art style builds are more common, since LEGO doesn't have a license for the WFRR line it doesn't really fit in the licensed themes. Though the argument could be made there is a Looney Tunes CMF line, I don't think that would really qualify enough to get the fans you are looking for. Really neat mosaic of Jessica! -
I really hope so, there's a specific brickfilm my son wants me to make and it needs a pigeon.

[REVIEW] 71391 Super Mario Bowser's Airship
Darkdragon replied to Darkdragon's topic in LEGO Licensed
Yeah, especially since there is not Mario in it As opposed to say Harry Potter where every set has a Harry figure, like it or not! -
SET INFORMATIONNumber: 71391Name: Bowser’s Airship Expansion SetTheme: LEGO® Super Mario™Released: 2021Part Count: 1152Minifigures: 0 Characters: 2Set Price (RRP): £89.99 / $99.99 / 99.99€Links: Brickset, Bricklink INTRODUCTIONWelcome to the final installment of EB's Revember 2021! Today we'll be looking at the Bowser's Airship set from the Super Mario theme. This set does not come with a Mario or Luigi, so you'd need one of those to use the play features as expected. However it is still a fun set all on it's own and definitely exceeded my expectations for build quality and parts. If you are a fan of the series or a fan of Mario in general you are definitely going to want to pick this set up before it's gone. THE BOX THE PARTS A lot of bags! This is a very large set for this line, the largest I have personally built so far. Lots of parts, lots of really great colors (if you like earth tones) and overall the parts count is not jacked up by tons of 1x1 round plates and tiles. These are substantial parts and interesting molds. If you like dark nougat, this is an amazing set for non-bricks in this color for the first time. Boat hull and "instructions". This is a ship, and being a ship has some boat hull parts. In dark nougat, it looks awesome! The most natural color I have seen for a ship yet. These of course come separately bagged at the bottom of the box. You'll see here what appears to be instructions, don't let that fool you. Like all Super Mario sets, there are no printed instructions. This pamphlet is really just a mini-catalog of the rest of the line. Lots of parts. For the sake of scrolling, I've put all of the individual bag photos into a spoiler tag. Rest assured, I have photographed every single bag of parts though. The Extras Considering how large the set is, I was somewhat surprised with such a small amount of leftover parts. Some bags didn't have any at all! Still some nice little pieces in there to add to the mocing drawers. BUILD Alright, let me get this off my chest right away. I really really do not like the fact that these Super Mario sets require the use of a tablet to build. It really irks me that there are no paper instructions and it makes it even worse that the app crashes constantly. The option of the app would be awesome, it has some neat features, but requiring it do the build at all was just a horrible decision. Ok, rant over. On with the review. In my household, the Super Mario sets are always built by my on (6 years old) with occasional help from his dad and occasional help from me when they both get confused This set was difficult! He was gifted the set and tried to build it with help and I had to rebuild multiple sections. When I went to build the set myself for the review, there were a couple points where it was very confusing even though I was taking it slow and careful the whole time. If you're looking at this for a kid or even adult who usually has no trouble with it or someone that likes to rush through things, you might want to consider they will possibly get frustrated and need help along the way. The first four bags were mini builds that are the characters and the sails for the ship. I did photos at the end of each bag, which I was hoping to do for all 13 bags. Unfortunately, it simply wasn't possible to photo after the end of each because beginning at bag 5 we were onto the ship and it really was just melding into each other. At times the app didn't even tell me to switch bags, I just ran out of parts and had to figure out what was next needed a new bag. Bag 1 Bag 2 Bag 3 Bag 4 Like I mentioned above, that was it for individual builds. The rest of the bags were just for the ship and really photographing each step would be pretty boring. There was a lot of technic in this set, really there is quite a bit in any of the Super Mario expansion sets. It is needed for the specialized play features. I will go into more details with the play features Play section below. CHARACTERS Any fan of this theme will already know there are no minifigures or minidolls in the line. All of the characters, other than the computerized Mario and Luigi, are brick-built figures. This set contains three enemy characters and a really cool brick-built pirate hat! COMPLETED SET & PLAY It took a while (not helped by the 8 instructions app crashes), but we made it! Bowser's airship is ready to fly!* *Kids, the airship doesn't really fly please don't throw it into the air. This thing is strong and hefty, but don't try to lift it by anything other than the bottom or you might be picking parts up off the floor. You may be wondering why the hull has all those crazy gaps between each section. Well, I'm here to fill you in, but not fill in the gaps, it's for the biggest play feature of the set - the expanding ship hull! There are a lot of play features here, lots of places for Mario and Luigi to get scores and coins too! I have neglected to get a video showing all the features, which is very unfortunate. However I did get the link the excellent video LEGO produced and I really think fans of the line will get a kick out of things like: Expanding ship, it grows to twice the original length! Canon! Goomba with pirate hat (you must knock off the hat to stomp the baddie) Dropping golden Bowser claw! Secret coin mini Bowser head you have to stomp off the ship! Spinning sails and rutters! LEGO's Play video of the set: https://www.lego.com/en-us/kids/videos/super-mario/lego-super-mario-bowser-airship-b23f65a10890f07b33181f294e09f42b SUMMARY For fans of the Super Mario LEGO line, this ship is very impressive in it's size and features. The character builds are amazing as always and the play features are fun. For the MOCers among us, this set is a plethora of amazing nougat parts in other molds besides bricks and plates. There are no stickers and a few pretty cool printed parts that could be used again. I personally am hoping to rebuild into a standard LEGO pirate ship as I really like the color and design of the ship portions and I think it could be awesome. I would love to get another set just for parts but unfortunately this line does not go on deep discount, at least not that I've seen in my city. SCORE Design: 10/10 This is so far my favorite set design in the theme. I love the ship details and play features as well as the character designs and the overall look of the completed set. Parts: 8/10 Some really great parts here! The set has a lot of nice parts in uncommon colors and some great new parts like the black Mario tube (for lack of a better name). Characters: 8/10 Well there are not very many characters in this set which is pretty large. I would have loved to see some more small enemies, perhaps some flying enemies? That makes sense right? The characters that are included are well done, nothing mind-blowing but well done nonetheless. Build: 8/10 Well, how to score this one. The build is actually very interesting and also very hard for an 8+ set. As an introduction to some intermediate Technic techniques, it's great! There are some really nice shaping and decoration ideas realized in this set. For a builder that likes to learn new ideas by builds, this is a great set. There's no majorly repetitive sections and nothing boring about the build. Playability: 8/10 The finished build is overall very stable and playable. The Super Mario sets are based fully around playability so this is really no surprise. There are a lot of action tiles and things to do with it, and it's swooshable! This is one of the few sets in this theme that might actually be considered displayable as well. In it's compacted form the ship looks really nice! Price: 8/10 It's a big price, and a big set. Of course we always factor in the "licensed tax" and many other things when trying to figure out if a set is a good value. I think overall this set does well to cover the high price, though a lower price is always welcome Overall: 50/60 (83.0%)

Eurobricks isn't a TLG company so we really wouldn't have this information, so posting in the EB Forum Help area isn't the right place to find an answer. I've made your question a new topic and posted it where users might be able to offer advice in case someone out there knows.

Main Street Mafia 2 - Conclusion
Darkdragon replied to Bob's topic in LEGO Mafia and Role-Play Games
Nice job Hinck, I saw you call out Jack Sassy very early in the game -
It means someone got the figures they want, not necessarily the "good" ones. What I want and what you want might be completely different and when spending $5+ per figure it is even more disheartening to get 3 of the ones I don't want and zero of the one I do. I very much dislike the boxes they used for Vidyo and will definitely not be buying regular CMF in stores unless I can feel bags, it's not "cheating", it takes time unlike the people who just open the package in the store and throw it on the shelf if it's not the one they want.

Hi Nukamusem, welcome to EB! I've moved your cool figures to a better forum so folks can check them out.

Counting the bricks before build commences
Darkdragon replied to Rusty43's topic in General LEGO Discussion
I recommend calling Lego as they will better be able to help you than Amazon since if there are parts missing it is not really something Amazon can fix but Lego will send you the parts. Also moving your post to the correct area, welcome to Eurobricks. -
Very cute set, even though it's a sticker i love the sign with all the types of coffee on it.

Help with identifying parts/sets!
Darkdragon replied to WhiteFang's topic in General LEGO Discussion
I believe that is Tyco element, not a LEGO element. -
It really boils down to two things: TLG has asked people not to use "Legos" and the word LEGO is a brand not an item. Since Toastie is posted just above me, I'll pick on you Let's say for the sake of argument that Toastie created a really popular line of wallets. Now parents are going into stores and kids are collecting the wallets. Of course, there will be some people to day "check out how many Toasties I have" but that's not really proper at all. It should be "check out how many Toastie wallets I have" since Toastie is the brand and wallets is the product. When someone says Toasties, not only does the brand get watered down because what if they are looking at a Gucci wallet and saying "check out that blue toastie". They also inherently are ignoring all the other products Toastie has created like belts and shoes! So even if you don't care that TLG has kindly requested people not to use the term, using the work Legos to mean "LEGO sets" also becomes confusing because there are other items such as: books, stationary, clothing, plushies, keychains, WHATEVER Ok, that's all from me on this topic. have fun peoples

The issue still exists but I have a workaround for it for now. I've taken care of BrickAA's errant image. -
Even in our holiday decorations, be it lining our shelves or covering our Christmas trees, many fans of LEGO like to add some brightly color creations to join the classic decorations. This year LEGO has released two small sets that fill both of these decorating needs. I'll be taking a close look at each set right here before your very eyes! First up we have a set with two ornaments! A cute wrapped gift and an adorable polar bear in a scarf. Read on for more details! Basic info of the set Set no.: 71363 Name: Polar Bear & Gift Pack Theme: Seasonal Subtheme: Christmas Year: 2021 Pieces: 142 Minifigs: 0 Age group: 7+ Price: £8.99 / $9.99 / 9.99€ Price per part: 6.3p / 7.0c / 7.0c Links: Bricklink, Brickset, LEGO S@H The Box A relatively small box, as one might expect for the low price. The photos on the box are true to life and not embellished at all with a cute Christmas tree-like branch in the background. The set I have does have the standard age, set number, and parts count all on the front. The back has a reverse photo of the gift but not of the bear, the bear is still facing forward. Kinda strange but not horrible. The Booklet & Stickers It's your standard booklet for this size set. The image is the same one from the front of the box. Disappointingly to some, it does include a sticker sheet. I will note that the stickers are pretty nice and I decided not to use them in the review for a few reasons but mostly because I like using them for MOCs generally speaking (gold and green trimmed bedspread anyone?). The Parts There are three un-numbered bags of parts in this set. One of the bags has a secretive white box in it! Since the bags weren't in any sort of logical order, I just dumped them all out and sorted them as one group. There are a lot of parts of all types in here. You'll see some bricks and plates with Technic holes which is unusual as well as lots of white slopes and a whole grip of modified 2x2 tile-with-two-studs! For anyone building in red or white, this set has some great parts. Now let's open up that white box and see what's inside... Ah hah! They thought to include hanger strings for the ornaments. That means we don't have to dig out the little wires from last year's broken baubles. How thoughtful! The Build Being a 7+ set, you'd expect the builds to be pretty simple and they are. There are two builds of course, and both are SOLID. I mean wow, these things could fall off the tree and probably not break. Around the middle of each build we see what those Technic bricks, plates and pins are for - creating the holder for the string. This is a very solid way to hang the ornaments, much better than the connections I made on my ornament balls in the past. There were a few spare parts left at the end of building both ornaments. The usual suspects. The Finished Product After a short time you've got two cute ornaments to add to your tree, or wreath, or whatever you like! Even without the stickers, I find the gift really cute. If there is anything I would have loved to see done differently it's the red clips. They do a decent job making the ribbon flow around each side and into a sort of bow but the red clips really throw me off. Green clips here would have been Amazing! Oh my gosh, he's so cute! I kinda want to build his whole body but even as just a head this polar bear is adorable. I'm not 100% sold on the grey muzzle but that scarf is perfect. The Final Verdict Design: 9/10 These cute ornaments are wonderfully designed. They are solid and balanced, great size for hanging on a tree and even include the strings. Parts: 7/10 The parts are nice. There are some cool modern parts and lots of slopes. The score is a little lower just because of the lack of what many would consider "usable" colors, and by many I mean me. Build: 7/10 A simple set and a simple build. There was nothing groundbreaking here, but I wouldn't expect major NPU with a set like this anyway. Playability: 5/10 I know I know, it's a low score. There really is no playability with this set, it's not designed for it! You can decorate with it, I give it a 10/10 for decoratability! Price: 8/10 The price is pretty good for two tree ornaments. If there are any left for clearance sales in January this will be an excellent parts pack for anyone that builds with red or white. Overall: 36/50 Not a bad score at all. This would be a great GWP for December or a great stocking stuffer - except that it might be too late to hang ornaments on Christmas morning. Overall a cute set and a nice build. This could be really fun as a Christmas Eve or even Thanksgiving family time build! It's simply not winter without some snowy LEGO decorations on your shelf (or the china cabinet at my house). The Christmas Penguin set fills that seasonal void wonderfully. Basic info of the set Set no.: 40498 Name: Christmas Penguin Theme: Seasonal Subtheme: Christmas Year: 2021 Pieces: 244 Minifigs: 0 Age group: 8+ Price: £13.49 / $14.99 / 14.99€ Price per part: 5.5p / 6.1c / 6.1c Links: Bricklink, Brickset, LEGO S@H The Box The front of the box is simple with an unaltered photo of the completed set. In the background are some little paper snowflakes which in hindsight are possible foreshadowing. What's really strange is that there is no parts count and almost no extra text at all on the front. The back of the box is interesting! There are three other similar size seasonal sets shown. After building this one and seeing the secret (more on that later), I want to get ahold of these other sets and see if they too have secrets! The back also explains the singular play feature of the set. The Booklet It's probably what you'd expect from a set like this. On the really good side NO STICKERS. There are also no printed parts though. The Parts Four bags, not numbered. There are nearly twice as many parts in this set as compared to the ornaments, so I have sorted each bag individually for the photos. So in this set I was not as impressed with types of parts but with COLORS. Oh boy, there are some beauts! The bright light yellow 2x4 tiles! The 1x2x2 with studs on three sides in bright orange! And to top it all off, sparkly shiny opal blue dots! The Build First you build the snowy icy base for the penguin to stand on. It's a really nice and simple yet complex piece. There is a secret inside, and I don't want to ruin it for you without you knowing I'm ruining it so I am putting the whole thing in a spoiler tag! Once the base is done we build the all mighty giant penguin. After that will be the gifts and tiny tree, or regular sized tree with giant gifts. What I'd like to know is do the designers have small set wars? Why would I even ask that? I'll tell you why, this is another insanely solid build, like you could chuck it across the room and maybe the eye feathers would fall off or a foot and that'd be it. There was something that made me sad while build it though. Do you remember how much I love all the colors? All the wonderful bright colors...they HID them all. ALL OF THEM. On the good side I can replace all these amazing parts with boring ones from my collection. Maybe that was another secret gift like the one in the spoiler above. The Finished Product There we have it all done and giving you a little wave. What do you think about this set? The Final Verdict Design: 9/10 I love this set's design! The ice and snow stand, the penguin himself, even the little tree. It's all a great decoration for your winter wonderland. Parts: 8/10 I may have mentioned this earlier, the COLORS. At first you look at the box and just see black and white but then you look at the bags and BAM you got colors. Unique colors! I love it. Build: 7/10 Pretty nice build overall. I like the way they did the wings to make them moveable but not detract from the rounded shape of the penguin's body. Playability: 7/10 There is some playability here! His wings move and he can swivel on the little turntable. It's not much but it gives a bit of posing ability to a nice little statue decoration. Price: 8/10 Did you see that price per part? Pretty sweet deal. I would not mind an army of these guys! Overall: 39/50 This too would be a great GWP (hint hint to you TLG). It would make a great small gift as well, could leave it up until spring on the shelf.

No, but we are working on one. Note: i will be merging this with the previous thread asking the same question
