Looks very tasty indeed. I found something similar in a LEGO Ideas Book, built it and offered it to people at our exhibitions. That was a so much fun. Two people asked if I were a dentist.

Geisel Library: A LEGO Architecture MOC
hoopoe replied to henrysunset's topic in Special LEGO Themes
I adore this piece of work and if I would live near to the place, I also would like to have the building instructions. It showcases a fair bit amount of research and trial, as seen in the other versions. What I don't like is the effort you put in the box design, as it makes people believe (who don't read the whole lines) that this set is available and try to look out for it. However, I don't even believe, that it is legal to put the trademarked LEGO Brand onto a product, that is not a LEGO product. As for the engraved tiles, which I have used a lot for my own MOCs, I have to say, that I stopped using them, because what can I do with it after disassambling the model one day. For exhibitions a card does the trick as well. -

Here's a new one. At our last exhibtion, children liked another tower, which I've bulit, and so a decided to build something even taller to impress them the next time even more ;-). Indeed I started to build it at the exhibition (show-MOCing), so people could see, how I build without any building instruction, and seeing whats inside the tower. Height: 107 cm Inside:

The LEGO architecture series is a Landmark thing and it is very unlikely they would release something from Austria, since our fame comes more from Mozart and classical music. Nevertheless I tried to find one buiding, that would represent typical Austrian architecture and which I could transfer to a useful scale, to stand at least a bit of a chance that it would be relesased as LEGO Set. The more famous Castle of Schönbrunn is to wide and would be far too small in height. The Gloriette is mainly beautiful because of sitting on top of a hill. Perhaps the Riesenrad would do, but then, transferred to a miniscale it would look like any ferry's wheel. The Upper Belvedere is home to a world famous painting, The Kiss by Gustav Klimt and thus one of the most visited castles in Vienna. Hope ya like my Version of it. https://ideas.lego.com/projects/115271 @ Pandora: sorry, didn't know, thanks for puttin' it right

Really fantastic creatures. Those have true potential to be released as LEGO Ideas Set. I can already see them in their box and on the store shelf. Congrats!

aaah, what a fullmoon night that was, anyway, that was the last plate, and i could sure need a bit of a nap right now

unspool his rope? man, if i can stand like that completely freehanded, i probably wouldn't even need wings to fly ;-) No, in ernest, very cute and funny both vigtnettes. If every CMF-collector would put up such a vignette for each and every of his figurines, now THAT would be an awesome collection for any shelf!

Ever since LEGO has released the architecture set of the UN Headquarters it was my idea, to put the VIC also to that scale. As you can see in the pic this was a fair bit challenging to put up with the 120° angles between the 3 buildings and groundplots with nearly just curves. The biggest problem was the roof until i found the white technic discs.

Another problem at the start - slow typing

How Many Have Completed CMF Series?
hoopoe replied to Boettner Builds's topic in Special LEGO Themes
I have 4 boxes of CMF and other minifigs: 1. Hips with legs 2. Torsos with arms and hands 3. Heads 4. Headgear und headgear-accessory There maybe rarities included but certainly no complete series. I pity displayed minifigs. Thats not what they are made for. ;-) I also pity collectors, who don't collect them but just buy complete series, just to have them. I buy now and then a few bags just for the sheer fun of it. Now and then, when I need a special one, i find it easily on BL. -
Let's share our funny interesting photos!
hoopoe replied to WhiteFang's topic in Special LEGO Themes
Since I'm new to Eurobricks I switched through this whole topic, and that was quite exhilarant. I found nice ones, some are average but a few were outstandig funny. Here's my personal TOP5: 1. Oke - Hair dryer 2. DLuders - Dolly B. 3. Smokebelch - Join the Gorillas they said 4. Dr-spock - Hot Brand Girl (Day 210) 5. disgnholic - Jurrasic ... and here are two from my collection: Morning glory ... Quite unrealistic! -

Teensietown is a modular LEGO microscale city based on the "Micropolis" standard published by TwinLUG but with some slight amendments that suit us there and then better. It is a growing thing, and most impressive when exhibited. Anyone who cares to look more closely can find an old LEGOLAND-Set, as well as a model of the televisiontower of Prague. Everything else was built from inspiration and imagination. Here you can find a lot of the buildings extracted from the whole thing as well as info on the co-builders: http://teensietown.weebly.com/ Sherv, a fellow of my local LUG, has ignited the whole idea, I am responsible especially for the waterway management, and more recently railroads and highway. The easy thing with the project is for me, that one can build with the parts that one has and doesn't have to buy too much bricks to make it look good. Thanks to the modular system, the city looks different everytime it gets exposed. Some more pics can be found now and then at our LUG's forum (german) here: http://forum.lgoe.at...hp?topic=3563.0 Hope ya like it!

to DanSto: thanx. i wanted to use taps first, but the tan taps are way too expensive. I always try to build as small as possible, but in the end the building must keep the architects spirit, that's what I'm trying to catch everytime. I like your Notre Dame in your signature very much indeed.
