I guess I could see how these dark knight characters look like they're from an underwater subtheme. At least the Chef, he looks more like a zombie fish pirate. The Knight doesn't match that quite as much from that image, but I suppose I could see it. But if this is the case, I'm slightly less jazzed about them.

The Chef is very cool: I like him almost as much as the design of the black knight in this picture: It would be a shame not to get them. Maybe there will be a dark knight subtheme as well as a plant monster subtheme? I'm really looking forward to the Mushlord, but would love these 2 as well. These 3 would definitely get me more excited about Nexo Knights as a theme. They are the 3 best looking Nexo Knights figures I've seen.

Is it 2 heads, or just a reversible head?

The fact he is a chef is kind of boring, even if he does have a fork for a hand, but otherwise I love the design.

I look forward to it, as I've been a fan of this story since childhood. Loved the book and old animated cartoon.

I'm seeing that the PS4 version comes with a Droid Character Pack and Phantom Limb Level. Does anyone know if the XBOX One version will come with anything comparable?

The collars not matching is kind of an oversight, but not a big deal. I'm wondering where this alternate torso appears: Looking at the minifigures in the set image, I don't see that strap.

That guy looks like a decent Dark Elf, and definitely better than most of the Nexo Knights minifigures currently seen. I'd love to see him in a more traditional Castle theme.

I was actually hoping that "Middle Zealand" was going to be a new Castle theme after the LEGO Movie, but I was naive at the time, just emerging from my Dark Ages. Essentially, Castle 2013 was Middle Zealand (as those are the same styled minifigures). I think that 2018 would be a great time to make revamped versions of old iconic favorites, like the 1978 Castle. I also hope that they have a greater focus on Middle Zealand in the 2018 LEGO Movie sequel, but I'm not expecting it. I'm actually imagining a focus on Friends or Duplo, considering how the first movie ended. But if they do another Middle Zealand at all, it would be cool to have even a small, new Castle wave to correspond with it. I think that new Castle sets would be distanced enough from Nexo Knights as it is, but especially after Nexo Knights has been around for 2 years and is focusing on other concepts.

Happy to see that they didn't go with minidolls. I almost expected them to do that. Not a bad looking set overall, but the monster looks kind of silly with the red arms and head piece on a trans black body and head. Still, nice to see the CMF Gargoyle's pieces in new variations.

Trans black, actually: Good to see LEGO is reusing the piece, though. I would very much like to see it in black, and the imp with black faun legs would be a great place. If not in black, hopefully they will opt for a dark red.

I doubt it would be a Wolfpack reimagining, but that would be awesome.

You get used to it. I'm very excited to hear more about the medieval minifigure as well. Anyone willing to share more information?

Castle 2013 may not have been great, but it's much better than Nexo Knights for Castle fans. I also like the minifigures. Well, actually I like the Dragon Knights, and I swap out their red arms for dark red or black, but I do like their pieces. I also would have preferred them without the Dragon logo on their chests. A few of the sets are weak, but a few are pretty good. Forest Ambush was a decent parts and minifigures set. Gold Getaway was a nice carriage. Gatehouse Raid was an enjoyable set, although I would have preferred something larger. Dragon Mountain was the only design I didn't really like, and I would have preferred a black or dark red Dragon. It would have been much better with less pieces spent on the siege engine. King's Castle is a pretty nice castle. Also, there were Battle Packs to get the minifigures. The Collectible Minifigures in the Castle theme have been good. I recently picked up a bunch of the new Knight from series 15, a better minifigure than an Nexo Knight or 2013 minifigure. I do hope they continue to give us good quality Castle minifigures. And I'm also very hopeful for more Middle Zealand in the next LEGO Movie. I really enjoyed the Castle Cavalry set. It was one of my first purchases out of my Dark Ages, and I loved the design. Always wanted more representation of Castle in the LEGO Movie sets. Also, 2018 is the LEGO Movie sequel and the 40th Anniversary of Castle. Too bad they couldn't just release a LEGO Castle Movie! But hopefully both of these things will come together in a pleasing way for us Castle fans.
