If that the final list, then thats not enough to justify 500eur purchase if the model itself is not absolutely perfect and consist of like 50% of bricks that are in new color and thus i dont own. Therefore i hope there will be much more. There is a rumor about a lightsaber promo which could realistically sell for 80-100eur but thats not enough - i can wait for the set to sell for 350 later as a direct discount. Cantina and Cloud City had much more figs and also contained of a lot of bricks. I saw a picture how it would look and it was awful. Im therefore lucky i own 2 Jabbas (and also 2 of the first versions, but those are not used in MOC by me as i find them outdated) About the QR code and apps for CMF. It worked greatly for me for 25 and 26. I was able to find what i wanted so fast, much faster than with the feel method. But its a double edged sword - it enabled scalpers who have no clue about lego to scalp for the Goat and Vampire knight - easy purchase for 3.5eur and sell for 8eur. In the past it was much more difficult for such scalpers to do it with feeling and spending 1h in the store to go through the box. Now its a matter of seconds and any kid with a smartphone can do it. Its problematic when there are some outstanding/most wanted figures - like the goat hearder and vampire knight in 25. With 26 i dont feel there was one particular to hoard so i was able to hoard ice planes and m-trons for myself :) Also the packaging is terrible, because it super easy to open it - so a lot of boxes are open and stolen or in the better scenario just open.

Im getting really impatient or the reveal of this set to manage my finances. Its a ? 500Eur ? set so planning for such spending would be needed while lego is not the only hobby im spending my money. I would say i am the target audience for this set as im a SW fan and i like minifig scaled UCS sets. I skipped most of the oversized vehicles like the last TIE Interceptor (have only the 2nd edition X-W and TIE Fighter). But the last minifig scaled UCS that was worth the money was Slave 1. I did not purchased the 800e AT-AT because the minifigs are lackluster and not unique. Although im building the model from my own bricks in DBG color (to represent Blizzard 2 with reinforced hull i know from decipher SW CCG card game) and i plan to build another one in the standard LBG color. So the model was OK, but overal the product was not worth the money. Also the Razor Crest was a model i was initially very excited as i love Mando s1&2 and also the ship design. But again, the final product was not worth the asking price of 600eur because of lack of more good minifigs (a Gideon, improved Cara Dune, maybe some special imperial trooper or other unique character), no molded blurg and a bad cockpit (should be new piece, or the middle piece should be a new one - actually there exist one already - they just needed to make a new one of just 2 studs wide) - i purchased the set later for 400eur which was more acceptable price to compensate its minuses So again now, its a minifig scaled UCS for a vehicle i like and even wanted to build an UCS version of it by myself. I have both of the previous small versions. So far im not convinced to buy it by the reports of not enough minifigs, disaster with the eyes presented on the leaked Salacious Crumb and problematic Slave Leia fig (im lucky i have all the previous versions) My conditions to buy this set (else i just build it based on the free instructions): 1) detailed and in scale model based on the crossection published in the book (AT-AT managed to do it well) 2) at least 15 new interesting minifigs - its kind of a playset, so it should have many of the characters that were on the barge - there was also a quarren for example (Tessek) - quarren head is already there, many of the niktos, weequays, klatoonians. Maybe a new Bosk this time with dual molded arms and legs and print on them to better reflect the real character look - maybe use long body type ? Maybe Sealt-Marae (Yak face). Would love to see those 3 dancers from special edition although im not sure they were present on the barge Figures are key for a new SW set. As many SW collectors already have tons of sets and spare bricks - new molds and minifigs are the reason to buy sets. Else i can build the models from my own bricks. 3) Slave Leia wont have "pants" as depicted in the video game where they used doublemolded legs - she should look similar to the previous version 4) the sails will be cloth/plastic and not brickbuild - previous clothes / plastic worked fine, brickbuild would be unnecessary ugly and add more piece count. Just do it as in the previous set just bigger and sturdier. 5) use minimum stickers - its an UCS, 4+ sets are fully printed so why dont we get it in premium priced big sets ? the windows on the side previously as stickers should be definitely printed (if not brickbuid design is not used maybe with the grills) But if they manage to put more minigifs instead of use printed bricks im fine trading this. 6) Jabba wont have bad looking eyes - i own 2pcs of the previous version which was great so either make it even better or just reuse it as it was (im sed they did not reused the mold for more hutt figures - Gardula or the purple hutt - such a waste of a mold) So lets see if they will met my conditions and i would buy this set day 1 directly from lego or i will skip it and just use the instructions to build my own if at least the model will be good. Then if its perfect, my only concern will be where to display it as im running out of shelf space.

No. They should simply adhere to their motto "Only the best is good enough" which is many times to tally dead in LEGO company although it takes a little to make things much more better. They should also keep in mind, that many of the fans are adults and the group is growing - thus attention to details should be there. I unthinkable how on Earth they are not able to to catch details that an average SW fan knows. Like with the new Skiff set - all they needed to do was to take the Boba Fett fig sw0822 and print his arms with the same schema as sw1245 , print the Lando leg print on a doublemolded tan-dark brown legs and perhaps ad at least 1 "villain" figure - a weequay or nikto pilot of the skiff and it would then even justify that overblown price. And all that makes me angry when i see a fig for 4eur getting all the love double molded arms/legs, printed, many special new molds created for that fig and so on and in an 80eur set. The sad true is this will only end after we stop purchasing all the imperfects products. And i dont remember which SW set was soo good i wanted it immediately for the full price and i dont think that the stores (not direct lego stores) are having any data analysis of which set was purchased for full and which was hard to get out even for 50% -> they dont care probably so they will order all the new lego products.

That will be set after the lego show in September. At this point those products have no backing in the kids show because its not yet out.

I have noticed one interesting thing at the Yodas starfighter (correct me if im wrong or if someone already posted about it) There is a new print for the cockpit. Looks like the version of TIE cockpit visible from interior. Its the one error in the movies - interior and exterior view on the TIE cockpit does not match. So now we would have 3 versions of the print ? The new Interceptor has a slightly smaler octagon than the previous versions and now the Yodas starfighter has it turned 22.5 degree. Thats perhaps the only positive thing on the set ?

Am i the only one who will bring critique to the Yavin 4 set ? The build i small, bot for me i dont care as its not acurate and can be used just a starting point with some material for the bigger base - thats something that can be fixed - its lego What cant be fixed is the minifig selection which is as usual not perfect. Luke is great - finally yellow jacket without the medal printed Han - why are we not getting the proper legs for Han ? Since UCS Cloud City we had doublemold sideprint, why cant we get the same treatment here just with the blue pants and red side print stripe ? Leia - seems to be ok Dodonna - we had him just recently - but ok here i can reuse the body for other generals present at Yavin by just switching head+hair Pilots - cool, we need them - no complaint here Chewie + 3PO + R2 -> slot waste - what should we do wit so many of the same figures over and over ? R2-BHD - ok, another astromech variant, no harm here Rebel fleet trooper - good but why not at least 2 of them ? I hope we get a battlepack which is long overdue Rebel crew - why is he missing the visor piece in white which is super rare, that helmet looks stupid without that piece - why do they need to cut corners in a freaking 170 eur set ? Why dont we have a Rebel ceremony guard 2x in this set to have a small ceremony scene ? Its a simple fig no new mold needed and also here the white visor should be used along with a printed visor down as the helmet itself does not allow to move it down Same, this could be a day 1 purchase, instead i will have to wait for a massive discount to overweight the imperfections.

Lucky me, that i have purchased 3pcs when the UCS was released. I was not able to purchase that set on day one in the Vienna store (although someone went in and took 2 sets right in front of me). I was angry and found an US store which parted out some of the sets - the main draw back then was that Boba minifig for 60-100 USD if i recall. The cockpit was for 6 USD or so :) I have built a custom recolored version in TAN, DK TAN and a splash of DK Red (fitting colors for Tatooine). So now i can still build 2 alternate colored firespray ships (3 is i cout also that purple version which i have too - purchased that set in 50% just for that cockpit) Also i have acumulated 3 MISB Slave 1 in time + one that is open.

The problem is that we should get that kind of figure right from the first 70 Eur set, the way they did repainted Boba figure right (except the helmet color) in the 50 Eur set. If they can use armprint in 4eur CMW why not in more expensive sets - this is on purpose - not doing armprint so that it can be done in an expensive set.

Im actually exactly the target customer for this set because: 1) I love SW + i collect LEGO 2) i collect UCS, but mainly the minifig-scaled ones, because i like the possibility to use them in a scene rather than just be able to display. I have all the previous minifig scaled - Lambda Shuttle, Slave 1, Millenium Falcon new version, building the AT-AT from own bricks to test if i like it first. Skipped on many of the other UCS sets because i did not found them interesting enough, i was able to purchase them. 3) I like mandalorian and also this ship in particular. Paid 50 Eur to get instructions for it from a MOCer but didnt even built it as there were many better versions afterwards. 4) I have the income and the money at hand to purchase it on day one of its release. 5) I still have some space to place it. But i will not purchase this set, at least not right away and not for that pricetag because its not perfect and not worth the price. Sadly LEGO distanced themselves from their moto from its founder Ole Kirk Christiansen: "Only the best is good enough" Ill explain what is wrong with this set and its sad because the designer put a lot of good effort in this one. The model itself is actually very good, that's the reason why i will download the instructions for free from the lego site and start to build it. Here are the problems with the set: 1) the cockpit window. They did not created a new piece wider as the one used in the system scale Crest, instead they brickbuild the cockpit. But used bad part selection as it does not fit in the middle and there is also an unnecessary gap on top of it because of that. Solution was to create a new piece which would fit with the corner piece they used. Such part exists already but as 4stud wide - they just needed to create 2stud wide version of that same piece which would fit perfectly and the such piece could be reused for other builds in the future - no not an onepurpose mold. 2) Blurg - they cheapened it by not creating a new mold for a blurg, This is a blasphemy. SW lego line is desperate on molded animals/creatures and brickbuild at that scale will never look batter as a mold. Jurrasic world received at least 7 new molded dinos. You can get one in a 18eur set. Also lego is producing many new molds for 4eur figure packs. SW is rich on exotic animals and we have after 20years only few of them as molds (tauntaun, wampa, varactyl, dewback, kaadu, correlian hound, rancor) 3) no Cara Dune. In previous 2 sets they created a bad version of Cara initially and they continued to use it for a second time. Original fig has no armprint (thus no dropper tattoo and shoulder pads), wrong skin color (nougat instead of standard color used for white people) no special hair piece - her hair was unique and required a new specific mold. They could fix all that in this very expensive set and it would be an insta buy just for the improved fig for some of her fans 4) simply not enough exclusive or even normal minifigs included. They could throw in Greef Karga and Moff Gideon from previous sets simply for people who did not purchased them for a reason. Some of the crew from chapter 6 (S1E6) - Mayfeld, Xian, Zero, Burg - no new molds would be even necessary as all already exists. There should be more figs that interacted with the ship. A Cob Vanth would bi a nobrainer. Simply put more bang for the buck if you want me to fork 600 Eur. And it should not be that difficult with figs that do not need new molds. 5) The price. Not that i could not afford it or i would not be willing to give for a lego. I have the UCS Falcon for 800 Eur TWICE. But i see that what i get for 600e is not worth it. Would it cost 350 Eur i would buy it day one regardless of its flaws i just listed. I will however start building it once the instructions are out as i want to have this hip build out of lego and this version is good enough to display.

Its fun to create custom combinations of all the mando parts that are out there and even combine nonmandalorian parts. Opened already 3 of the mando fighters to have even more possibilities.

so will i have to fork additional 50-60eur to get a better instructions ?

I second this. Purchased the original instruction some years ago and it was a pain to build sometimes. Used only the PDF not the CAD files. My sandcrawler is halfway built unfortunately, better instructions would help to finish it when i will have time this winter.

Do we have any news about the UCS AT-AT ? I need to decide on the funds, should i reserve them for this thing or it will be yet another pass. I dont like this secrecy from Lego side, especially on such expensive things. The only good thing is it will be here for the next year or more, so i dont need to get it immediately. I could save 150eur on the Falcon if i did not needed it day 1 - at least it was fun time waiting 3h before opening with 6 other crazy people :D

What will be the price on the instructions ? I have already the UCS and the 20anyversary but if this is not expensive, i might be interested.

Tell that to the stores which are still not ordering the same amount of SW toys as it was in the past. I agree that Mando and CW7 brought the sales up to a degree, but the retailers still dont trust this IP that much. Even in US the SW sections are almost nonexisting and in other countries it is already nonexisting.

Again are we comparing apples to oranges with Hasbro vs Lego. Hasbro is not selling things worldwide at this point (i had no problems purchasing original TVC or Transformers back in 2010 - during the golden times before Disney, some of the transformers are now slowly starting to appear in special toy shops, TVC and TBS nowhere) Hasbro is underproducing stuff Hasbro is selling too much store-exclusive figures Hasbro does not restocks / keeps the product available through the year - sometimes stores even receive one case and never any more again - Lego keeps the products from a wave available for multiple years Keep in mind that specifically clones are for Hasbro a lucrative article - they do just a different print and voila, new product with minimum effort. Ask the TVC collectors how often they get a completely new mold figure - someone from the cantina aliens. I believe we will see lego Rex soon, Lego knows the demand and now with the BL data also the secondary market demand/value. They just cant release a figure just like that (for now - where is that damned SW CMF to keep up the characters demand) - it has to be in a set. And they cant release all the sets at once - there is a slot for a pricepoint to be filled and OT stuff like x-wing has to be always on the market - that was confirmed by designers For me, im sad we dont have more SW animals - a mall set with an animal similar to Friends have now with the pods would be cool.

Only FUNKO is able to keep the tempo. I dont see much support for new SW shows. SW IP is a damaged goods - so stores are ordering less, now u dont really see entire sections dedicated to SW IP as it was in the past. Also the keeping of all new projects secret makes it difficult to prepare toys to support the shows Hasbro is at this point underproducing and absolutely not available worldwide - then it may easily happen that everything is sold out right on pre-orders (how an u sell of preorders ? - just take all the orders and produce that many) In my country i cant get any Hasbro Vintage Collection 3.75" Super Articulated or Black Series 6" but i can get every SW Lego set - see the difference ?

My toughs on this wave: Accessory packs: Depends on the content, but i dont like that his is the 5USD/Eur price increased battlepack from now on. If this will be limited to Lego store, then its even worse - there will be limited discounts. I was used to get 1-2 BP for almost full price and then tons of them at 50% to army build. Snowtrooper battle pack: Have like 10 of the previous old ones, so no need for this one - maybe bricklink the scouts if they are really good printed. According to the description this is even worse than the 501 BP as its really the content of standard BP just 5Eur more expensive Razor crest micro: If there is the shiny beskar version, not interested - i have like 3 of them already. Would be cool if its the original one and updated with armprint -> that would be a day one full price buy. I will hesitate to buy some at 50% discount - the shiny beskar one is not really good to create custom mandos in combinations with other mando parts. Hoth AT-ST: Meh minifig selection, if they have special print, ill take one at 50%. Those helmets sets are starting to clog shelves in my toy shop chain (big as TrU) So i dont know where they got the sales numbers then. Other sets are moving faster. Tesco is not even selling them. Really ? Does not look so big and even bigger as Ghost. Ghost has several rooms and a bigger cargo hold - this is just one room + a second floor with cockpit + some room behind it and then engines and stuff.

Add the V35 speeder which is now in the Cantina - add 2-3 great new figures to it, use a different paint scheme (black) and that could sell. Are banthas counting as vehicles ? New mold for bantha is long overdue - 2 banthas , some sand people and something the banthas will drag behind But yes, the list of vehicles in this pricepoint is small, so move to buildings maybe ?

The issue with that st is it has the printed TIE dish 18675pb01 which by itself is 20+ eur part Im afraid, that the Accessory packs will be just a way to put inflation on the Battlepacks. The Harry Potter one is 15eur - the same as a battlepack, but has only 4 figs and few bricks.

Disney is pondering to Asian mainly China market so therefore a new movie with Asian theme. So far they failed, Mulan movie was a disaster in China. BTW the new production from lego for the Asian market is good - mainly the Chinese New Year sets - appealing to Asian market done right. As i see it, she will be possibly cancelled everywhere, its like KKs personal vendetta against Gina. How on earth will u cancel a figure which was on preorder and is in demand ? (talking bout Hasbros 6" actionfigure) Therefore im asking for suggestion on customs. I dont purchase customs but in mando, there are too many good figures not yet released and im disappointed on legos official production. I have tons of SW sets so i should concentrate now to get the best figs and Lego is not providing them or making them at a slow rate (purchased the new mando set right on release and 2pcs) Im still waiting on a good hairpiece for Jyn Erso without hat - that could be done in a Friends set still.

I dont care for the movie i remembered about the name Reia Raia Raja or wathever so didnt bothered to name it correctly. For foreign looking disney princess our top is Moana / Vaiana (in Europe) the one on the picture. side of the head shaved or even half of the head shaved and the rest longer hair. It does not look to much feminine to me. The only acceptable usage for me is in Cyberpunk.

Because im not interested in this farytale and i was lazy to lookup the name i used the comparison to other Asian disney farytale i know - Mulan (the original one was great because of Mushu). Because its not good enough - it would look like shaved head, the hair on Cara has volume on the side and i want to see it on the hairpiece. But so far i did not saw any correct custom. Also i dont want to paint figures. It has to be a print if it should be a custom (im lame at painting anyway )
