    Is there any round System piece that is transparent and is smaller than 2x2? I need a headlight piece for my MOC, but the 2x2 dish/plate/tile are too big, while the 1x1 ones are too small.

    If the rear driving ring doesn't snap, supposedly it and the gear catch can slide freely, so how is it supposed to be keep in the locked position?

    This is what Technic sets should be about. Good old generic vehicle with bidirectional switches and battery box and cool functions. If you allow it I'd volunteer to do the instruction later.

    Turning sets from other themes into technic sets seems fun. I'm looking for other sets like the Ornithopter to Technic-ify. The main criteria is that it should have Technic functions in a body of System bricks. I'm having my eye on the 21327 Typewriter, but I'd like to receive some suggestions as I'm not very familiar with other themes.

    Thanks a lot for the support! I guess it's possible to hollow out the cabin and put an M motor with a battery box in there, but it wouldn't be realistic, because in the real the thopter the wings are supposed to vibrate instead of flapping.

    I have just learned that the 1/2 bush with the tire 59895 is actually thicker than 1/2 module, and that ruins my plan for some mods. Is there any wheel combo or wheel equivalent that has roughly the same diameter and is 1/2 module thick? I can only think of a black 12 tooth half gear.

    The problem with this approach is that it can't be braced longitudinally while remains thin enough to look good, and if it's not braced when I grab it by the cabin the whole cabin roof would be ripped off.
