  1. That's not how it works D; That's not how any of this works D:
  2. That's too too far from a Mobile Crane....
  3. A 1H RC flagship with licensed and only 463 pieces 42108 is most likely similar in scale with 8053 Mobile Crane (1289 pieces). But then, I have a sense that it's gonna be somewhat unusual. When the info about 42094 Tracked Loader was out, no one thought it would end up being a weird futuristic electric-run log grapple loader with unworkable claws, triangular tracks, rotating cabin, and a two-speed winch gearbox. It's like 42094 has the features that most real life Tracked Loaders don't, and don't have what most real life Tracked Loaders do. I suspect the same will be with this upcoming Mobile Crane. I'm hoping for smaller tractor tires for the Mini Xerion. It reminds me of the same situation in 2012. Flagship 2011 is the Unimog. At the beginning of 2012, the smallest set is 9390 Mini Tow Truck, but it was plain as daylight it was a mini Unimog with less than 100 parts.
  4. Given that the model will sit on a plane most of the time, having four outriggers at the same angle wouldnt be a problem. Besides, the outriggers are so flimsy that the need to be fully extended to firmly press to the ground. I finished my replica yesterday and experienced this. In the 42097 mod thread that I started, i suggested a linkage design that extend the outriggers fully together when they are lowered. I put that on my replica and it worked marvellously.
  5. I don't really like where Technic is heading. The theme feels like Technic-ized Speed Champions more than proper technic equipment. Too many cars.
  6. The little blue bird corrected itself and said there most likely won't be a B model for this :(
  7. I'll buy one to do a 9398 vs 41999 vs 42099.
  8. In the video, the small wheels moved up when the rear ramps are extended. Around 0:32 - 0:33. It looks like the movements of the wheels are linked to those of the ramps, so I think the small wheels are movement limitors.
  9. I think the small wheels in front of the trailer's wheels are movement limitors.
  10. There's a pair of small wheels in front of the trailer's big wheels. Upon closer inspection, I discovered that the small wheels moved up when the rear ramps are extended. Around 0:32 - 0:33. Maybe they aren't landing legs.
  11. The trailer has a pair of landing legs, but I can't find the knob to lower them.
  12. Nope. Mack is a 1H flagship. Land Rover is not. It's not an early release of 2020 1H flagship. It's just an odd one out in the 2019 lineup, like 42084.
  13. Many Technic sets have trailer hitches without trailers. 42053, 8258, etc...
  14. I think the new piston part is just two Technic string reels.
  15. Uwe's truck vs Markus's truck. Both trucks have the same wheel base.
  16. Two generation of medium sized helicopters. 8068 B vs 42092. 8068 A is too similar to 42092, and I like the bubble canopy more. The biggest improvement is the design of the winch. In 8068, when I swoosh it, there's a chance that the string will go backwards due to gravity and unspool. But that cant happen in 42092, which is a big plus. Putting the rotor knob under the model also helps. In 8068, the knob is right under the rotor, so my hand can interfere with the blades. That doesnt happen in 42092.
  17. And an exclusive set based on the winning entry with a limited production of 20,000 copies, each of which will feature a rare color palette and carry an own number plate...
  18. Brace yourself (or yourselves) for an inline-6 Mack-style engine.
  19. All the more reason to not expect a proper inline 6 engine. The most recent creation wiyth a proper inline 6 doesnt end up so well.
