  1. Top Gear Rally Car, 463 pieces. I'd venture a guess that it's in the same scale as the Vette.
  2. Join me in celebration of 10 years of Uwe Wabra's trucks. What a journey!
  3. I'm expecting TLG to blow the backhoe past the 4108 piece count to make it the next "set with the highest piece count thus far" by including 100-200 ish fluff pieces and an auxillary handheld pneumatic controller made out of system bricks.
  4. I knew this design would appear someday!! And Backhoe!! YES flagship pneumatic backhoe!!!!! Goddammit TLG why do I always have to spend a bunch of money on those your irresistible 2H sets every year...
  5. I don't really think license would play a major factor, as the Corvette has a generic unlicensed B model.
  6. Numbers of sets with no B model through the years: 2012: 0 2013: 0 2014: 0 2015: 0 2016: 1 2017: 0 2018: 1 2019: FOUR!!!
  7. Today I saw a real 5-axle mobile crane near my place. Its wheels are 1.5 to 2 times bigger than those on the trucks and the towed so-called "mobile crane" that I saw the other day. So I think you're right.
  8. Racers for the kiddos: 42065 A, 42065 B, 42095 A, 42095 B.
  9. 42053 and 42080 would like to have a word with you sir
  10. 42097 A has higher reach when the arm is fully extended. I think the B model is more compact and may have some use when vertical transport is all that's needed. For instances, transporting bricks to the 4th floor through the balcony.
  11. Compact Tower Crane vs Mobile Tower Crane
  12. 42097 A in red vs 42097 B in LBG Folded Extended
  13. 42097 B mod: I added knobs to rotate the small turntables and open the outriggers horizontally. In the original design, the outriggers don't have knobs, and must be extend by hand. I find that inconvenient. The result is two knobs tucked in nicely next to the knobs that drive the LA. I think these knobs can totally be added to original model with the pieces in the set, but I haven't built the official set yet, so this might be wrong.
  14. I put the rear wheels of the Hot Rod lower one stud, make it longer, and add the differential. To me it looks better this way. I don't like the shortened and lowered axle in the original design.
  15. 100 pieces of rocks! Part inflation is real!!!
  16. 8z doesnt mesh with 28z horizontally though
  17. 42107 is Licensed btw. So it's most likely a licensed motorbike. Hopefully it'll use the new rim from Harley Davidson Fat Boy.
  18. I also expect a dumb battery box for control+ in 2020
