I dont really get the gearings for the linear actuator. 12-20 pairing followed by 20-12 pairing?? What was that for?

I like the concept, but not the execution.

Maybe he's trying to make an alternative model that requires a turntable-like structure from a set that doesn't have a turntable.

I already did chassis comparison for 42100, 42055, and 42082 here. I dont think I can do chassis comparison between 42100 now, because the model is already fully assembled. The pins to detach the superstructure is buried somewhere deep inside. I took the chassis pics in the previous post right before I built the superstructure.

It's funny that that thing pops up frequently in a targeted fb ad, and I just wish that 42108 was designed like that.

I've decided that I'm gonna bricklink the parts (panels and stickers), and then build one without the electronics. I don't even need the 7x11 frames since I can just join two 5x7 ones.

I would love to buy this thing without the electronics.

That video doesnt have parts review, speed build, or at least examination of the new diff. What a disappointment...

No signs of 42107. It's not even included in the back of the booklets. I think 42107 may be cancelled already.

Ooops sorry I was referring to the red gear in 42109. I posted in the wrong thread...

I hope that the 28z red gear snaps semi-permanently onto the differential housing on one side, but can still function as a clutch gear on the other side.

How exactly does the red gear connect to the housing? Does the housing have pins that snap into pinholes in the gear?
