Cannot disagree more with this. In recent years TLG has ventured into models that have never been done before in Technic. 42055, 42078 B, 42080, 42097, 42098, 42112.
This is the first time I've encountered such a bizarre contraption. This thing can very well be the B model. If (big if) there is gonna be a B model...
At the very least I think the mixing drum should be controlable through a knob. That means the drum needs to be attached to a turntable. Since the two-piece mixing drum from the City line doesn't have connection points that allow such attachment, I think the drum is gonna be either new part or custom build.
