I am kinda noob when it comes to tyre sizes. If someone could do a side by side comparison of rhe porsche wheel and tumbler wheel that would be nice :) -

A must buy. Hoping for a quality RC mod, though. All the PF functions should fit in nicely, because the car is huuge! :O -
I re-started also a year back. Bought several sets but in hindsight I would recommend getting partlist for rebrickable and shopping in Lego bricks&pieces or bricklink. If you do not need massive amount of sets and plan to moc certain sets only. Already thinking of selling half of my sets. They just stack up :D

Looks great!

I was bored and googled if there was some Technic 2016 pictures in the interweb... I somehow ended up finding picture of the yellow mine digger in this set: http://brickset.com/sets/4204-1/The-Mine Interesting coincidence(?) that the beginning of next years sets happens to be same (4204-)... Also the Mine Loader without a scoop(?) mentioned here might be explainable because it has similar mechanism as this City Mine loader? So, it may be another conspiracy theory or do we get a Technic Mine series similar to the 2012 City set? They need to release the pictures...

I am new to architecture sets. What is that piece used for the large "dome" on top of the main building? That looks like a very interesting piece :)

Any updates on these? Are either of them Expert scale like Blue Jet and Ferrari F40? Colors?

Diamond Headlights
LegoCube replied to LegoCube's topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale Modeling
Not yet. I only bought 4 of those Diamond Sticks. All in clear... TR LT Blue and TR Red might work as well. I need to buy more parts again... :) Unfortunately orange seems out of stock in Bricks & Pieces -

Diamond Headlights

Not focusing, the opposite. It spreads the light. That is what I wanted to achieve. The led seems bit too cold and direct imho :) -
Diamond Headlights
LegoCube replied to LegoCube's topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale Modeling
It works like a prism and spreads the light from the led nicely :) My camera really does not capture the effect very well... http://u.cubeupload.com/Cu3e/b93image.jpg -
So my random pieces have arrived and I finally had tine to sit down and play with them. I am very happy with these headlights featuring part 4248937 "Diamond with stick". Here are some snapshots (my version of Skyline edit: by Sariel of course) http://u.cubeupload....3e/34dimage.jpg http://u.cubeupload....3e/2d0image.jpg http://u.cubeupload....3e/df8image.jpg

Nissan Skyline GT-R
LegoCube replied to Sariel's topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale Modeling
Nice GT-R ! This I will have to recreate some day. Not the RC and drifting (it was more just spinning than drifting ;)) part but just the looks :) I do think that the rear should be a bit wider, though. In the reference picture from top it is clear that the body widens towards the back. It would also make the car look better from back. Now the tail lights look too big just because the rear is bit too narrow. In any case, very recognizable car and something that I would love to have on my bookshelf! Thanks! -
Xerion
LegoCube replied to JBTechnic's topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale Modeling
I believe it is same model? I know nothing about tractors, though. Check the 1st post of 2016 discussion :) -
Thanks for posting those pictures. This is now my first large non-car set :)

Looks great! I wonder how this will compare to the rumored 2016 set from Lego :) -
Peacemaker Tank
LegoCube replied to uefchen's topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale Modeling
Very fun tank. Put a smile on my face :) It would look good in pastel colors with some elves ;) -
The UCS so far has been Marvel and Star Wars stuff... Could we maybe see a Movie License instead of Car Manufacturer. Another Tumbler? Nah... How about a James Bond car. Aston Martin or Jaguar ;) Lego is family friendly so maybe something Disney licensed... In any case, very interesting. The Crawler was 200€.... Full set of Tumbler wheels at 10€ each would already bring it close to 250€... In that case it does not need to that much bigger or more complicated.

I recently purchased some 4610377 to try. But I didn't buy more 4610378 parts because I already have 8 of them. They are legos and should be reattachable, right? So now I am struggling how to remove a 4610378 from 6022947. Should I just leave them and buy more 4610378 pieces? Separating them without violence seems difficult. (I am already thinking hammer... ) http://brickset.com/parts/4610378 http://brickset.com/parts/6022947 http://brickset.com/parts/4610377
