  1. I believe that is a translation issue from german. I am pretty sure it's the Getaway Racer from tge OP. And it's a pullback set together with the Police interceptor.
  2. The latest technic sets came out just few days ago :) 42042 and 42043. If the date in german amazon is correct these might make it for christmas so still this year, no? ;)
  3. Does Lego have history of using similar codes for remakes? Could the 42048 Go-Kart be a modern remake of 948 (854) Go-Kart... That seems the most interesting for me. Police Interceptor sounds good but for 19 euros maybe not much there?
  4. I like this MOC. Would it be possible to have the front rocket launcher be pulled up from side pf the hood. From the video it seemed like there would be enough space there. Having one each side would be even better :) I mean if the flat panel at the side of the hood would open and the missile would turn out from there... Just a thought, Good luck!
  5. Looks great! This set is my latest purchase (last one for a while... It's been a spending spree last few months...). Bought it for the blue panels and the grey beams which I needed for my WIP chassis. Great to see so many alternative builds for it. Very appreciated
  6. Thanks for the info blakbird. I was thinking something mire like this :) http://brickset.com/sets/75110-1 I might just but one of those :)
  7. I see a lot of skulls and deamons. But I think I see your point. I would be happy with a racing helmet head for a Pohatu if the scale matches...
  8. I am new to modern lego but today a thought came to me looking at some Bionicle sets. Would it not be possible to have generic bionicle parts for building technic humanoids in different scales... For example one big enough for sitting on a motorcycle model and scaling down all the way to one that fits the 42009 ... The joints could have different levels of friction to make some movements more free than others. For example character sitting in a car could have it's arms flexible so that they move when the wheels turn... Just a crazy idea, but would be interesting merge between bionicles and technic :)
  9. I never had any technic lego as a kid. Me and my brother had some of the 70's and 80's knight and space lego sets. Browsing those at brickset site really brought back some memories :) I remember playing with a neighbour's technic set: http://brickset.com/sets/854-1/Go-Kart I built it once and took it apart and rebuilt it several time with small changes... After that my dark age began :) It ended last month when I saw a discount on this: http://brickset.com/sets/42022-1/Hot-Rod I was shocked how big and complex it was to build. I enjoyed every moment of the building provess but thought this is enough... Then I found this Creator set: http://brickset.com/sets/31030-1/Red-Go-Kart That filled my retro feel perfecly. Bought another creator set (different one) for spare parts to try small alterations then found out people sell used sets and landed on 8070 Super Car... All in one month. I am hooked deep ;)
  10. Looks great. I really like your building style. I am new to Lego technics and I am learning a lot from your thread
  11. Looks great! It is very inspiring to see your work I was planning to start my own Honda S2000 RC MOC mostly using 8070 Super Car parts. It is going to be my first...
