The start of a promising project I guess buildong the head is the most important thing to get the final model right, but also it should be the most interesting part to do, so are you sur to keep your motivation for the next steps ?

Colorswapping is always eye-catching ! That's a very good MOC, well done
-
A real success Your MOC is so narrative that you don't even need a title, we can think to Cloud City with a simple glimpse. Well done !

I really like color swapping. It's not alays easy to find to good pieces with the good colors, but you did very well !

I love it ! I had the project to build one, without knowing what could look like a white and blue new X-Wing. I can see it is worth it ! You did a great job !
-
You know, about the new colors of the X-Wing, we will get used to it quickly. And as someone said earlier, I'm pretty sure we will all want our halloween X-Wing after seeing destroying some TIE it in The Force Awakens
-
Of course we like it Do you have closest pictures of the inside ? Maybe your ITT is two-studs too wide, I've got the impression the vehicle we can see in Rebels isn't that big. I also like the red stripe, it's a good way to add color. Have you tried in blue ? Stop blaming that cute battle pack stooge

[MOC] Adventurers; Secret Desert Tomb
Gouniaf replied to LegoMathijs's topic in LEGO Action and Adventure Themes
This must looks good on a shelf ! I should have placed the grass pieces just on the bottom of the tree, but otherwise, your MOC is perfect. It's nice to see these old printed pieces- 12 replies

What're your favorite and least favorite Star Wars sets?
Gouniaf replied to Loco de Lego's topic in LEGO Star Wars
I think the problem comes from the lack of different pieces back in 1999. Now, I just come from my dark age, and I've got the feeling 50 % pieces I find in every set I buy didn't even existed in 1999. We could compare Lego sets with cars : every car released in fifteen years ago looks ugly today. To stay on the topic, I don't like the jedi starfighters sets from The Clone Wars show. They should be elegant, calling speed to mind, but are instead angular and uninteresting. -
Funny MOCs are the best ones ! But the quality of your work is indisputable.
-
Thanks for the comments. Until now, the wings seem solid enough. But your question is relevant Fuppylodders, as the wings are connected to the engines by their top side only.
-
As Vodnik, I didn't like the wings of Poe's X-Wing, too wide and not accurate, as they should be totally flat when closed. So I tried a little something : Here are the pieces I used. Most of them belongs to the original set : I used the corner plate to elevate the wing (I could use any other plate, but I needed two identical plates from my tiny collection), and the 2x6 plates is here to lower the other wing. The idea is to get them at the same level when closed. On these pictures you can see where the different plates go : Et voilà ! Now I have to deal with this canopy issue...

Hey, I did the same yesterday. Don't you mind if I open my own topic ?
-
So beautiful it could be an official set from TLG. I love how you made the engine, but the inside of the cockpit needs more details. Anyway, I really like this MOC
-
Funny and very well done ! One of the most brilliant MOC I've ever seen
-
It would be less confusing if we had a "post-it" topic with only facts and pics without any comment, beside the 2015 and 2016 topics.
-
Maybe you should post more pics in this very topic ? Your MOC looks good, it deserves many pics instead of a link to a youtube video
-
Awesome how this MOC tells so much with only one minifigure ! The totems seem really complex, I'm speechless. Definitely a masterpiece

[WIP] Movie accurate cantina at full minifigure scale
Gouniaf replied to TheBear's topic in LEGO Star Wars
Patrick ? Is that you ? I love your work. I'm also working on a true scale Cantina and I'm far to get it done. This is really interesting to see the evolution of your project from the beginning. -
Last of the V8 Interceptors (Elves!)

That's unexpected I just took a glimpse into your flickr gallery, wasn't disappointed. You are full of good ideas ! -
Great way to display your collection. As Robert8 noticed, I also think it's a good idea to make Tiger Woman a zombie. Makes more sense in my opinion.
-
Yes, at last ! The colors are so much better than Poe's X-wing, and I like the fact you tried to correct the wings issue. Good job sir !

Spiderwoman getting stylish :

Until now, who knows the shuttle isn't perfectly similar to the one in the movie ? Some AFOLs who spend time on specialised forum, and that's it. And after all, this problem was the same with 6205-1, the V-Wing from 2006. It's no big deal.
