I think I get what you mean. Can't wait to see how it turns out. If it works, I'll have to consider modding my own walker. I'm already planning on making the body bigger and reworking some of the greebles.
-
Do you think it will be able to hold up the weight of your walker? How do you plan on having it posed? Could your walker stand with just 3 feet on the ground?

Agen Kolar!
-
Yeah.. lol. I'd say it's more along the lines of U-Wing Krennic's shuttle Tie-Striker Hovertank AT-ST

Great job! Lovely moc.

Very good job! The original bounty hunter pursuit was the first thing I ever bought from Bricklink so this brings back memories.

Sheesh. Are you building a minifig scale starkiller base? lol
-
Great work! I'd love to see how you worked out the bending mechanism.

I'd say there's a slight tilt, but the newer Lego A-Wings exaggerate it. How do you guys feel about the jumpsuit of the pilot being green rather than dark green? -
Those look really nice!

Well obviously the characters aren't the same, but this situation occurred in CW between pong krell and a clone trooper.

got an extra A-wing pilot poly along with 3 more FO generals.
-
Im pretty sure this happened in clone wars, not rebels.
-
I honestly don't get it. lol

There are two death trooper variants. The regular one, as seen in the battle pack, and the commanders from krennics shuttle with pockets and pauldron. It totally makes sense that they included then normal ones in the battle pack, to keep some sort of proportionality between the commanders and regular guys for collectors. I'm a fan of this decision.

Pretty disappointed that that Jyn's hair is completely wrong in the bunker set. it looks good under the hat from the U wing set but they just chose the generic ponytail for the bunker, rather than a new mold.

Who else will be there to tell us we need to use the boombas? -
Im still not a huge fan of the yoda starfighter. the spherical shape of the cockpit wasn't very well captured.

I love how this is turning out. I know it will be beautiful when you populate it with troops and droids. Great job.

I really like the ship. It's sleek and comes with great figures. Plus 4 seats to add in panaka if you have him. -
This is really nice! Great use of the death star plans piece.

I got some heartbreaking news the other day. The Republic Gunship is my favorite star wars ship. The lego sets always led me to believe that the bubble turrents in the wings were controlled by clones, the same way the bubbles on the sides of the ship are. My buddy, who collects hasbro star wars action figures, informed me that those wing bubble turrents are actually remotely controlled by one of the pilots. I didn't believe him at first, but a wookiepedia search confirmed what he said. Am I the only one who didn't know this about the gunship? This brings up a larger point. Are there any other reasonable play features on lsw ships that aren't on the actual ships? I'm curious if any of more other lego-induced impressions of star wars ships are incorrect.

I believe the UCS Falcon was discounted when it was retired as well. By like 50% :/. -
Love the comparison. I just pulled some parts to make v2, little did I know 2.3 would be dropping so soon. Do you plan on releasing the lxf files for these rolling updates?

Bricklinking the Lambda-Class Imperial Shuttle 10212
jhaelego replied to Spud The Viking's topic in LEGO Star Wars
That's quite the journey! You'll love the outcome. I bought an incomplete shuttle from ebay that including everything minus the minifigs, stand, and head/cockpit section for 240 and was able to bricklink the rest of the ship or about 60 bucks. I agree with Nathan though, check lego b&P for pieces that seem a bit expensive on bricklink, particularly those double convex bricks on the cockpit. Also, keep in mind that white bricks are subject to discoloring, so if you really want the shit to look uniformly clean, I'd suggest buying all new parts. Otherwise, you'll have discolored sections that really stick out. This is especially important for this ship since it's almost completely white. Best of luck though!
