  1. In the dome of the Bifrost. I can see that as a $150 set.
  2. Promobricks combines DC and Marvel.
  3. Someone pointed out on IG that the cloth skirt is from Poison Ivy, which is something I doubt would be reused outside a DC set.
  4. There are ways to include civilians. One wall could have stables on the interior, which would suggest a hostler to take care of the horses. One wall could have the castle kitchens, which means cook, and probably a page. The Gatehouse would be best for the barracks, but a small cart with driver to go through the gate would make sense. One tower would be a Wizard's tower, and it could include a peasant getting treated for some illness (two- sided face, sick and smiling). Then you could have as the main keep be the biggest set, but with a width that makes it replaceable with two wall sections. The keep would open up with hinges, have a great hall, probably royal chambers, and a variety of figs. I envision such a theme using Technic pins to connect all the sections, but covered up with small sub-builds that can be removed, and put together, to form some extra bit of scenery when the main build gets added to the castle. This would probably up the parts count so that most of the walls and towers would be $20, $30, and even $40 sets. Then the smaller sets could be a host of enemy sets, civilian traders, a carriage, and likely some knightly training sets.
  5. I always thought that breaking up the big castle into smaller sets would give a more varied play value. Several of us have suggested that a more modular design would appeal better.
  6. Random WandaVision set thought:
  7. Also not a new mold, but the Winnie the Pooh set also includes a small sail build.
  8. Brickset has a nice write-up about the reveal, and will probably do a review soon, because there are even more images on their Flickr page. And here it is.
  9. What's got me wondering is how those leaves on the angled portions of the mounds were done. I will definitely download the instructions.
  10. Don't be a tease, it's Eeyore.
  11. Rabbit does have mid-legs. Tigger has the standard. It's hard to tell, but Pooh's legs do seem to be shorter that Tigger's when you compare their seated positions. Piglet is the one who seems out of proportion. He should be the size of the minidoll children, but to achieve that another new mold would have been required. The build itself is a wonderfully crafted representation of Pooh's home. Its construction and design would lend itself well to the homes of the peasantry for Castle builders.
  12. Witch Hazel got more expanded use in Tiny Toons.
  13. I keep seeing the word 'knight' being used so liberally when what you're actually referring to is the livery, and the heraldry on it. There are significant reasons why lions get so much re-use in Lego heraldry, the main one is because it was so widely used that no claims can be made against Lego for its use by the current nobility. The closest overlap of Lego lion heraldry that would make sense from a narrative perspective would be from Royal Knights (eg 1 & 2), to KKI Lions (eg 3), to Castle 2013 Lions (eg 4 & 5). I quite enjoy the 2013 lion heraldry. What would probably sell the most to this crowd are likely to be blister packs, and/or battle packs (like SW), with modern updates of classic factions and new ones, as well as civilians. Even better would be Castle versions of the large people packs that City gets. The occasional tournament set, with two of those factions facing off and numerous spectators, would go over well too. The standard Castle structures Lego would produce as sets that would go into a wave are themselves less needed to our crowd, that can make informed decisions on the parts needed to build with, and go about acquiring them. If an AFOL needs some instructions for something, there are literally hundreds of sources. The problem is that Lego doesn't see us as a large enough specific market, with a cohesive shared interest, to dedicate time and resources to appeal to directly.
  14. Look closely at the legs. There is more printing on the Goofy included in the train station.
  15. From some reports, the upcoming Goofy has slightly different printing, based on his appearance in one of the cartoons.
  16. Given the description, the civilian could have a double-sided head.
  17. A large retro TV build with multiple WandaVision scenes to place inside. The Nintendo with TV set is $230.
  18. Speedy's first appearance was against Sylvester, so I put them together on my guess list. Maybe Lego can create a small dust cloud piece for him and Roadrunner.
  19. There's too much to search through. Did FF say the D2C isn't WandaVision? Because that's not subject to change, and predominately aimed at an adult audience.
  20. I'm guessing Marvin will have some kind of stiff cloth skirt. When the Series 20 Piñata Boy leaked it was with everything but his ponchos.
  21. For those who think 80024 The Legendary Flower Fruit Mountain isn't legendary enough, and want to expand it, consider buying the Friends sets 41432 Alpaca Mountain Jungle Rescue and 41423 Tiger Hot Air Balloon Jungle Rescue. The build palettes are quite similar, and even some of the stickers wouldn't be out of place in an expanded build.
  22. They'll probably use the Tudor sections of the Ideas Medieval Blacksmith as a template, without any paint wearing. There are a couple other ways to do it, but those require a greater volume of parts.
  23. It think this has to do with the overlap of appeal between the Friends buyers and City buyers. The types of play are also quite similar, but diverge enough for the subthemes to be distinct from one another.
  24. The codes on the tape seem to be a quality control code for the machine doing the boxing. The code 51R8 can be clearly seen in one of @Megbricks opening videos on IG (Bunny), But with the if the codes are corelated in an unopened box of 24, there may be a way, but only between the ones that came in the same box. That is if the earlier leak of box position (quoted from another thread below) is accurate. Given these are blind boxes, not bags, their position should be quite consistent.
  25. "The Crahaish neh Triuri have made two of their ships available for the ferrying of troops," Commodore Grei chimed in, "And construction of the Faithful Ramshead, work on which halted when the Carno/Lotti conflict began, has resumed. I am unsure, though, whether it will be ready in time for this trading season."
