The Coming Darkness - Day Four
Rumble Strike replied to def's topic in LEGO Mafia and Role-Play Games
Camanakin, if there is a pattern to the cards that we have identified (which we believe there is), then I will use mine to ensure you get the clue we want to verify. That way my card does not go to waste and it's not a vital piece of evidence (as I am under suspicion). -

Bubb, the reason no-one is investigating your family murders is simple - we don't have that many witness cards remaining to us, so it is worth doublechecking what we do have rather than going off and finding fresh evidence that we cannot corroborate. I know I am a suspect still, but I would also like to play my last witness card. I think the Roweena case is the most interesting as the clues have the possibility of being tampered with by the Dark Ones. If we can verify all 3, that would go some way to proving things. I do agree with the argument that some clues are now pointing at only one person, due to the amount of deaths so far it would be hard to keep finding 2 possible suspects with all 3 cards used. However, that may mean it is worth investigating the other murders if we can narrow it down easier now. -

I admit that perhaps my voting action yesterday could be seen as irratic. It felt like it was late into the night before the investigation happened and my thoughts were clouded. I honestly believed that the second Flutwuck clue which had not been verified would reveal more people as suspects. However Robanakin's deductions were much better than mine and he analysed the clues more thoroughly. I know that makes me look suspicious, but that is the honest truth. I was hopeful that we would get the chance at an investigation that would clear my name and prove conlusively that Mugg is scum. I know this for a fact but he is a highly skilled Dark One and has managed to look less suspicious. However there was the matter of offering to show his clues so that his fellow Dark Ones could claim the conviction. I think that is the only slip up he has made. I actually agree that the evidence against us is much more solid than any of the evidence shown today and I think we should be voting to lynch myself or Mugg. I would normally be happy to die for the Town cause but if I interpret things correctly this lynching is crucial. I hope Mugg trips himself up today because otherwise it does look bad for me. I do not know what else I will be able to do to convince my fellow Town that I am with them and have always had the Town's interests at heart. -

Have you seen anyone get Jay the ninja figure? All I see here and on Brickset is people getting Frakjaw. Very suspicious! -

I got Frakjaw - found it very difficult trying to feel through the outer bag to work out what you are getting. It's putting me off getting two copies of the mag. -

That really heated up in the last few hours. I stayed up so late seeing it all unfold! Great stuff, let's see what surprises def has in store for us on the final day. Oh and happy anniversary Robuku -

I had not seen that Bubb had confirmed the second Flutwuck clue which was my sticking point for the vote. Therefore I shall unvote Mugg Kupp and for the good of the Town vote Burrito (Pandora). Mugg, tomorrow you will be found out as a Dark One, have no fear of that. -

Nothing odd about it. Mugg was playing such a coolly focused game that for a while I almost believed he was Town, and that Scotty would be found to be a Dark One in the investigation. But Scotty is Town, which makes Mugg a Dark One. -

That's if Roweena is to be trusted for teh clues, and I find her a little suspicious. Although throughout this ordeal Burrito has been acting suspicious also. I didn't want to do tit-for-tat voting, but the Otaku murder clues come from pretty solid sources, and I know I am not the killer, so I shall have to VOTE Mugg Kupp (MacK). -

Whatever you choose will give people more information to go on. You have to choose soon or we will run out of time. Not many have actually voted yet. -

Actually, I second the call to investigate Scotty. It's more long-reaching than just investigating me or Mugg. -

I'd obviously like Mugg Kupp investigated to clear myself as a suspect, as long as we think it's for the Town's best interests. I know there are 2 other people who are suspects in the different murder and this is the first time this scenario has happened, so I'm not being presumptious as to who should be investigated. -

I personally think it wass suspicious of her to play both witness cards one after the other like that. You have a lot of power to narrow people's thinking that way. Even if she's Town and being enthusiastic, it looks bad. Today was always going to be the day when the Dark Ones realised just how this game was played and what they could do to scupper the Town. Everyone could see how we went through and got the clues, and then doublechecked if necessary, and then went for the investigations. I think that it is possible Roweena tried to sabotage that process. As you say, it only needed her to falsify the second clue, not both. -

My clue just came in: The person fleeing the scene clearly was definitely not wearing a wedding ring. This is the same clue that Mugg Kupp gave. So both suspects in one murder got the same clue for the other murder. I'm not sure if that helps either mine or Mugg's case, to be honest. However, it does put Roweena under suspicion as neither of hers have been qualified, and this verified clue did not reduce the number of suspects when it first came out, we already had it down to two (Scotty/Burman). -

I feel like we have been waiting for an investigation for ages. I think the Dark Ones won that challenge, and no investigation will be forthcoming. It was bound to happen, given that the two previous investigations tipped the balance of opinion as to who got lynched. The Dark Ones lost 2 people because they lost both challenges. I really feel I should contribute to the clues more today, with so much going on. I want to use a witness card and obviously shouldn't investigate the murder I am a suspect in. With Bubb not reporting his witness card yet (which is a tad suspicious in itself), I shall play mine, and hope we can divine something from it: I would like to investigate the death of Professor Flutwuck. -

I am more than happy to play a card, however as part of the investigation into the other murder my evidence may be viewed as tainted. I will definitely use a card for the good of the town if it is seen as being worthwhile though. -

I find that accusation staggering because I was responding to your theory, along with several other people! However, you didn't seem to care that Mistress Kupp had been investigated and found as Town, and you didn't change your vote either. I find that very suspicious. If you look through what I have said over the days, trying to dredge up potential Dark One behehaviour, you won't find anything. I vote towards the end of the day once the investigations have been completed, and each time, I voted for a Dark One to be lynched. My record is completely clean. Therefore, based on the evidence, and knowing that I am Town, I think Mugg Kupp is a Dark One. However, as we have two killers to catch, and can only convict one, I will hold off voting for him in case we have better luck with the clues in the other murder and need votes for that. -

Scotty, I admire your enthusiasm but must point out that am also a suspect as I am married to the loveliest woman in the world, Mrs Le Goninja. -

This is terrible! The Dark Ones have really started their revenge, taking out two more of us! I know I am a suspect in Craig's death at the moment, I hope Scotty comes forward with the results of his clue. If we need to fact-check any evidence, I am happy to use a card too. -
I have to admit, when doing the reviews I always like taking the completed sets pics best, playing with it and telling a little story Thank you for the kind words, and it's interesting to see that opinions about this set seem to be more positive than mine were overall.

Hi Rocketbilly. I have worked out, using my massive powers of deduction (and seeing where the Alien Conquest sets are on the shelf), that the Atlantis stuff was replaced by Alien Conquest. So give it another couple of days and your Atlantis section will be gone.

Thanks for the kind words everyone, I have been very pleased with the positive reaction my reviews have had on this board Awww Masked, you've consistently been my teacher for my RA reviews so I'm glad you actually like them when they are out "in the wild"!

In Tesco I saw a Lego Cars 2 off-shelf display. Similarly priced to TRU, no bargains. Also another Tesco I visit has had a reset and suddenly put out some Alien Conquest sets. So the summer wave stuff is trickling in.

Another quality day of claim and counter-claim, all tied in with the crads and investigations. I am really enjoying this game I like the name Ram Strut. I have no idea why it's those particular words apart from you wanted to use the R and the S from my name (like you have done with the other character/player names) and also they are short, aggressive-sounding words suitable for a troll character.
