  1. Lol, I know they are looking out of place, but I haven't worked on them so far...
  2. I always put two round 1x1 plates in those holes if I don't find any other use for them, not the craziest construction, but in the most cases it looked better than any other things I tried... No, I was talking about the front where you used that round 4x4 brick with technic holes. The round front itself is a great idea, but there are some edges and corners beneath the round part which make the front look less smooth than it is supposed to be... Actually I really like that LoM piece, it looks like a great greebling part! Thanks alot, I'll add this image to my personal collection of instruction pics of cool techniques!
  3. Hey all, this is a preview of my WIP Sigship, the "Moth". I'm still working on it, but the overall shape is already finished. The top fin is inspired by that pre-imperial shuttle you can see at the end of SW Episode 3, though the similarity between those two crafts was originally not intended. When finished it will feature: - Retractable Landing gear - Complete interior featuring a bed, kitchen, shower, cockpit,... - My SigFig in space overall aboard So stay tuned for the final product!
  4. Sweeeet! :-D Not only a great idea but also perfectly done! Please give us more pictures! Oh, and always nice to see droid arms!
  5. Great fighter! It seems to be a great alternate design of the yellow Naboo Fighter, only much more aggressive! (before: " " -> now:" ") I like the design of the engines / wings and of the rear (though the scimitars are disturbing me, but the scorpions are great!) and the outer guns are looking... whoah! Great design! Another detailI don't like is the front of the ship, the 4x4 cylinder just doesn't work for me in comination with the dark grey part beneath the cylinder (what kind of part is that???) Finally the oveall shape of the ship is really nice, I especially like that you lifted the engines with the click hinge connection up so that they arent on one level with the main hull anymore. As a last word I would like to mention that I really like how you incorporate all those castle-, pirates- and whatever parts into your space creations, even if you are not the first who tried this you mostly (except the scimitars in THIS creation ) always achieved a cool look with it while most others always fail with this technicque! So keep this great work up and show us more of it! I sure see lots of potential!
  6. Fixed for now, but we need Jipay for making a proper icon instead of the temporary one I made.
  7. Sorry I don't think this sort of material belongs in a forum that is about a toy and therefore visited by many kids. Please don't post such violent content here anymore.
  8. Since the insanity begun yesterday here in Germany I thought I should start a topic about it! First of all I want to know if and how you celebrate this! Here in Aachen all the "Jecken" (the "Insanes" *wacko* ) go to the market place in front of the town hall and have a huuuuge party beginning at 11.11 in the morning, the carnival prince is speaking in front of the crowd, older people as well as young folks, all are singing funny songs, consuming alcohol and just having fun! After the show ends the people spread all over Aachen and the surrounding cities and villages, there is almost everywhere another party going on! Dana (Aredhel) and me were afterwards at the "Pennzelt", a huge tent on the other side of the town hall, where we celecrated till 8 o'clock in the evening... Surprisingly we two are already awake today and there is no headache!  I have to admit that we wont have any other party till saturday since I have an important math test, but fater it we sure will go out having some fun! ;) But the other important carnival day here (besides the thursday which is called "Fettdonnerstag" here (meaning something like "Fat thursday")) will be monday with it's huge parades everywhere, but I will tell from it next week! ) So finally I will attach pictures of our costumes, because Aredhel was Storm and I was Wolverine! So please tell us what are your traditions?
  9. But the very most important thing you need is... *drums*... patience! It will take much time till you community grows big enough to be popular, and it surely will if you try to improve everything (not only the technical aspects, but also the ones that belong to the community itself) continously!
  10. Though you just acted like one... Honestly, even if Yoda's post missed some Smilies to indicate that he was only kidding you, you surely overreacted! If you have problems with the respond of one person it isn't a reason to delete all your work! As you might have noticed most reviews that were published by various members lately were very visual. That has nothing to do with the (intellectual) age of the reviewer or the reader but it is just a better way to illustrate the pros and cons of Lego sets. So a huge written review is different to the other reviews and there are the people that like it this way and there are also some that dislike it. Other reviews also got comments like "Hey, you only show pictures, where is the text?" but those comments didnt make the reviewers to delete them completely! I personally like reviews best that are inbetween those two extremas, but since you always were one of the members that wrote down well thought, long and nicely written posts that were worth reading, I really looked forward to take some time (after my math test saturday) for reading carefully your review and I really hope you will act as wise as you did always before and put the review back to the post where it belongs.
  11. My local TRU here in Aachen had some a few weeks ago, so I think they are available all over Germany's TRUs. Actually I am thinking of getting one of these buckets for expanding my viking dragons... EDIT: Their homepage only shows this set: 6637 Ultimate Battle Set - Das Ultimate Battle Set beinhaltet 5 Bionicle Action-Figuren. for 19,99...
  12. Hey slimer, I'd like to welcome you so much, but as your IP is exactly the same like chambered EbonHawks I think I will ban your two accounts forever. We told you what breaking the rules means and since you showed that you don't agree with them you have to live with the consequences. Bye.
  13. Here in Germany you can catch up one mag at the Lego shop and sign in for it. You will get it for free for two years. After those two years they will ask you to send a small note back to them so they know that you want it another two years.
  14. Lol, don't worry, talk about everything you wish in here... I'm in good mood, so no moderations actions for today
  15. I even made a train station for my sisters RC train from that orient princess palace set... Damn, I wish I had photographed it, it was my first (and only) Playmobil MOC!
  16. But the Kirby guy was able to suck his enemys in his huuuge mouth... ;)
  17. I like those new forrest line Playmobil came up with. My small sister (7 years younger than me) used to get lots of Playmobil for her birthdays and christmas and I had to build the sets for her. What I often did was taking all those cool animals and plants and trees and whatever and I made huuuuge Dioramas of it, with waterfalls and all those fairytalish stuff. This new forrest line are exactly the sets I always dreamed of, much of nature in it and everything so cute! (Last time Aredhel and me looked at those sets at a local toy shop she told me "Please don't start collecting these too!" :$)
  18. Kirby was at least a cute round guy who had a natural vacuum cleaner ability.... :-D
  19. Now that is a real double post!
  20. I don't know what a spyro is either, but Kirby was (still is?) a cool Nintendo character from the 90's...
  21. Honestly, I don't like it. The rear looks great, besides some minor details, e.g. do I think that the signs on the airplane parts doesn't look right. The blue parts wrapped around the rear are looking fine, not the best greebling ever, but they fit to the retro design idea. The detail I like best are those retractable weapons (?), especially the one with the clear dome looks just original! Now for the negative critics... ( ) First of all, I think the whole rocket looks somehow too long. I thought some minutes about this impression of mine and I think the reason for this is the angle of the airplane flaps (is this the right word?) is too large. If the angle would be smaller (lets say 30
  22. Nope, polls aren't gone, at least not for long-term members. They just aren't seperated from normal topics anymore. You can add the poll options if you click on "New Topic" and there is somewhere the option to activate a poll. Yeah, that is right. It became more complicated, but as soon as we master our new abilities we will enjoy this new system
  23. UPDATE: All members should appear now on the member list again! Thread closed.
  24. Hi and welcome to Eurobricks!
  25. I'm not sure, but I think that this is actually the intention behind it... Having an serious topic (murder, suicide) compared to a toy - basic Lego bricks. I think the use of basic bricks for the weapons / tools (and also the brick build blood and fluids) fits perfectly to this highly surreal scenes. My 2 ct, I like it
