  1. Wow! I immediately recognized the Byzantine influences in your MOC, and I love all of it! The minifigures, the tombs (most of all, the Han solo effigy. NPU all the way. ), the actual building itself, all fantastic! :) I have one question to ask though, the robed henchmen, are those Jawa faces of the S4 Werewolf?
  2. I put him on a horse, gave him a different face, a cape, a lance, a halberd and a pike with some flags. I also gave him the Kingdom's queen crown at the top of his visor. Looks pretty nice, if I do say so myself. It's odd, I'm not going to be using him anyways. :) Hoping to get to the LEGO store this weekend, wish me luck!
  3. Latest purchase was Escape from Dragon's Prison. I've yet tos ee Blacksmith Attack at my local LEGO store, but rest assured I'm going to pick at least 8 of those ones up just as I did with Prison Carriage Rescue.
  4. If it needs to be cleaned, Clorox wipes. Hard removal? I've yet to buy a brick separator, so I just use my fingers. Many times I've lost parts of my fingernails in the process.
  5. Normally, I shy away from Star Wars sets (except for Jedi Robes, they work well as Castle peasants. ), but I have to say, this set looks AMAZING! It's smooth, like somebody's MOC, and I would love to have a copy of this set.
  6. As you may or may not know, I buy a LOT of Kingdoms sets. By this point I have become very familiar with the box's dimensions and such. However, on my trip to the LEGOs tore today, I noticed something odd about the boxes of Kingdoms. The Prison Carriage Rescue set box is now just about the size of what the Knights Showdown box would have been. The Prison Tower Rescue was about 5 inches taller than it used to be. I bought 2x Prison Carriage rescue, bringing my total to 9. I'll take a picture with the former box in a bit. My question is, why? Just to conserve materials? Is there a shortage of supplies in the LEGO company? I'd like to know, but I'm not complaining. Again, the pics will be up when I get a chance.
  7. I think I have an idea of what you are talking about. I'll go looking, and edit this post with the link if I find it. I can only vaguely remember the creator's name, but I think I am close!
  8. Ooh, I really like that Inuit native, as well as the dwarf just for it's shield. I'm actually really looking forward to this set, and I'm hoping I'll be able to catch it in my area!
  9. I really like the way you made it a phalanx, but pushing the spears in a slow, gradual upward way. I dunno why, but something about that pose caught my eye. Also, the sheer numbers of Spartans is enough to stare at for a while.
  10. While I like the tower's design, I agree that it is a tad too tall. Overall, this is really nice. I like all the little bits and bobs you have to look for instead of just noticing them at a glance. Great job!
  11. If I had to guess, somewhere in the 250-300 range. this is just a wild guess though. And they keep on growing!
  12. Wow! If only I had the size for a set-up like that! Good luck and I'm eagerly awaiting to see the progress of this.
  13. Oh wow, I didn't even see the price of the King's Carriage Ambush. It didn't interest me much, but yeah. I wholly agree with this statement.
  14. The only set I feel is a tad overpriced is the Mill set. A shame too, I was really looking forward to getting it at a reasonable price. But nonetheless, I'll buy it anyways.
  15. Yeah I saw these on Classic-Castle as well. It's really interesting seeing what could have been the early 90's/late 80's equivalent to Medieval Market Village. Not to mention all fo the awesome parts that will, apparently, never see production. But you never know, another thing was that the skeleton horse was designed in late 80's early 90's, yet wasn't released until a few years ago, so maybe we will see some of these parts eventually! But I don't know, i have no official relationship with LEGO, besides being a fan.
  16. I like the Yamask in your signature. :)

  17. I'm pretty open about it. My friends and family know, but I don't go around flaunting it. That would be weird. If people ask about it, I tell them as it is. And buying LEGO? Almost all of the local LEGO store employees are either AFOLs or understanding of the hobby. Those who understand are understanding because of all the AFOLs I see walking around the store along with me.
  18. Fantastic! Maybe I'll finally be able to get a Forestman fig! Even without the extras, this is fabulous news!
  19. I haven't posted here yet? What took me so long? Well, I have to say, these sets look amazing! Finally, a set that is fairly inexpensive has a cowl, in black I believe?
  20. LEGO, although they did take the idea, perfected it. While the basis for the LEGO brick was based on something else, it was a completely fresh and new idea on the subject. This, however, is blantantly cloning LEGO. Not comparable at all.
  21. I'm absolutely going to try out for this contest! I've never entered an EB contest, but it sounds fun, and those prizes are well worth a shot!
  22. I think the SES looks a lot better, I just like the way the ship is built. The new IFS, however, has a great selection of parts in IMO, better color choices. I don't own either, but if I had to say based on look, I'd say the SES.
  23. You've really got this planned out. And for good reason too, it looks HUGE! Can't wait to see more photos, this looks really promising.
  24. Wow! Not only is this a great cross-over type thing, but the artwork itself is AMAZING!
  25. Being a recent Pirates fan, I only have sets from the 2009 sets. I have bought many pre-2009 Pirates parts, but no sets. And the list is: 6239 Cannon Battle x2-3, can't quite remember. 6240 Kraken Attackin x3-4, can't quite remember also. 6242 Soldier's Fort x1 8396 Soldier's Arsenal x3 8397 Pirate Survival x1
