  1. A nice collection you have Miller and quite a busy street! I like the use of the CMF's to recreate The Village People, that made me laugh. I also like the building you created for the repair garage. Once I build mine, I also plan to give it a roof. Keep up the good work
  2. There are so many that have been mentioned that I miss dearly. From The view ports on boxes, to alternative models, to mini catalogs. What I really miss are the prices of road plates before current ones release. And like many, I miss how they were packaged: two of the same... Straight with straight, curve with curve, etc. Same goes for train track
  3. Currently my large instruction books are stacked in an old plastic drawer, while the manuals are bagged in groups (fire, aviation, race, etc) and placed in a dresser. I'd like to have a better way to store them for easy finding. Looking into a small file cabinet with those accordion-style folders mentioned
  4. Would yo be able to post some pics of yard and layout?
  5. Very sad indeed. Condolences to family and friends, may she be in a better place
  6. Indeed a great MOC Gahrian created. It's put together very well, so much detail and on a very large scale. Definitely something to see and comment on

  8. Wrong, no... Though it took me a few seconds to figure out what was surrounding her. That is a lot I guess I am not a self-respecting AFOL Definitely the one Biggie Cam posted (sucker for blondes). Pink is a close second
  9. Excellent interior alex54! It's a very nice cafe; I absolutely love the Espresso machine!
  10. Good to know. About how long did you have in?
  11. Glad it worked out for you! And thanks for the info on heating, I have a few elements that need it
  12. Still it's quite angering when someone pirates a home video(s)... Especially if it's a fellow EBer. I left a comment for Multidollar1234 regarding Youtube guidelines and the two copies posted. I hope they correct this ASAP or sick 9VLegoTrainfan on'em
  13. You could try heat. I think Lego starts to soften 200F-300F, but this, I found, might contradict that: ABS maximum temperature is 80C (176F) and melt at 105C (221F) Polycarbonate plastic used for transparent bricks melt at 267C (512.6F) Still if you use your oven and start the heat a it's minimum (mine is as low as 170F) and raise it slowly you should be fine. Definitely try a practice run first
  14. Nice Hearse limo Jackson233. It has a very close resemblance to a classic caddy. I love the front end's grill and and headlight, and the long hood. Is there a casket in the back? Great build
  15. Awesome Rat Rod ER0L! Seems like a lot of car for a young lookin' girl... That big block looks awesome and I like how you attached the wheels. Does it roll well? Great build
  16. Off to a great start lt. I'd like to see more on the door mechanism. Any chance of open-close shots from inside the store? Looking forward to it's progression
  17. Thanks Rail Co and The Blue Brick for commenting The Ferrari is a modified version from 1256 Shell Service Station. From Mondial to 328 GTS
  18. Neat roadster lt. It has a very nice look to it, but could use some side pipes, to complete the fast-roadster look! Plus it'll fit right into the 50's; chrome! Keep up the great work
  19. Very cool Caddy TKoB! You really captured it's look with loads of deatil. Great job on your first 7W
  20. Thanks for following lt! I figured I'd throw him in there for fun. Unfortunately he won't be staying for long; planning to open his own garage someday Thanks wooootles! I chose that guy for a reason... His suit! JK, but I'm glad you like it And thanks to you too, Big T. It was quite a long, ever-changing, but fun build for me. Now I have to find a bin that I can store it in
  21. Awesome job Steinkopf. Very detailed work, I love how the circuits are accessed. Great build
  22. B-OV-28A It's taken nearly a month, but I have finally finished my car dealership! That is, with the exception of stickers, they'll come later. I have decided to just use classic 4W cars to have on display. Welcome to Prestige Auto! Repair Garage: First Floor Show Room with wheel display: 2nd Floor Showroom: Fully functional elevator: For photos following the build, start to finish, click HERE. Suggestions and comments welcomed and appreciated! Thanks for viewing
  23. After reviewing my books for 2011 I found that over $10k was spent... A bit more than I should have... This years is off to a similar way with $2.5k down. Hopefully now that I am only collecting current sets, this year, I hope I spend less
  24. Maybe so, but if Lego released a Safari with biologists tagging animals when I was a kid, the tranq gun would be less tranq and more of a hunting rifle. Even if it didn't appear so. We definitely could use more animals. Maybe, if the Forest Theme sticks around, we can get new animal molds there. Theres plenty of options: raccoons, moose, mtn. goats, mtn. lions, bobcats, hawks, eagles, the list goes on! As far as safari style animals, maybe Lego could look into a Roman theme. Colosseums, chariots, etc, that way there doesn't necessarily have harm directed towards the animals. They can be there for show; kept as pets, etc. Just my HO
  25. My revised one is relatively self-explanatory, I LOVE Lego, I'm a guy, and my name is Brian (shortened for the rhyme)
