  5. Very nice job on this HUGE police HQ jth781 Did you buy multiple sets of 7744 or did you order extra pieces. I built a similar concept comprised of two set of 6332 Command Central Post from 1998. Not nearly as big though, outa room still having trouble loading pics tho Cant wait to see new pics of the modifications! Keep up the good work!
  6. Awesome rally truck Ralph_S! How did you invert and attach the seats for wheel wells?
  7. Awesome Big Boy! Perfect recreation of 1940's American steam power! I've always wondered how the E. Night would compare in size. I need to aquire one of these.
  8. Very cool miniMOC! Great attention to detail!
  9. Luckily before my "dark age" my mother bought my two bros and I each one of those 1998 promo McD's and TLC provide a couple pizzerias. I do however plan on building a new restaurant. Thinking of names; Brix Bros Burgers, Elements (more a Lego nightclub name), A-B-S Place to Eat , 5 Studs Burgers
  10. Great MOC Maegnus Keep up the good work!
  11. I'll take it! I'd like to have at least three coaches for my E. Night. I have an extra unopened EN Train, but I don't know if I would get more for in BNIB versus opening it just for the coach and reselling the engine and tender after TLC discontinues it... Engine/tenders alone make $10-15 profit when sold separately. Still a gamble, but I'd honestly sell it if you don't care to give it up. :
  12. Very impressive MOC of this Japanese Temple, too say the least. The attention to detail is amazing! I couldn't imagine how long it took you just to build the roofs alone. Great work!
  13. Very nice display!
  14. THANK YOU so much for uploading those instructions Holodoc! I have scoured the internet looking for them, as well as, LDD and Lego Factory to no avail. So thank you, thank you!
  15. Awesome MOC Колпак! Love the bi level cutout and the attention to detail. The lighting is a great final touch. Very realistic. Keep up the good work!
  16. Very cool layout AFOL 12V! Massive! Love the custom touches like the extended cargo train crane and the way you routed the 12v wires through "telephone" power poles. Is it possible to get a pic of the entire layout? Keep up the good work!
  17. Great MOCoff Legosjaak! Love seeing new pictures of your Lego city!
  18. Cool train engine snapshot! Would look great in my citys' industrial sector as a blue collar hauler! Can't wait to see the final product.
  19. Great winter scene. Extremely detailed Awesome lighting as well. Can't wait to see more. Keep up the good work!
  20. What I don't understand is why TLC sold out there straight/curved rail packs before there replacements were available. I was selling some of my curved RC tracks (my city runs 9v ) and wanted to get an idea of there price. I was very suprised to see 'sold out' on there availability. I hope this means TLC took notice of the criticism of selling them together, as well as, the fact that that expansion pack didn't even cover a full loop. Also, is the double switch track un available as well?
  21. Fingers crossed anyways Good points though. I may be low balling the the Bank but I'm sticking with my estimate on the chase. Two small cars, a trike, and small street corner don't seem to have many more pcs than the transport. 160ish pcs just for 1 van is alot + aound 13 the bike and minifigs etc. I think/hope it'll be close. Anyone know its est. release? I forget what website had that info and can't seem to find it. Thanks
  22. Cool Swat Truck Teazza! Quite realistic.. A suggestion if I may.. Raise the ground clearance a little so it can handle rough road or debris when heading towards a mob. Also add rear step bumper so the team has the same ease entering and exiting the truck as they do now. Keep up the good work!
  23. No these are worse than megablocks!! They're so bad they make MB LOOK like Lego... I have two containers that I purchased off ebay WITH a truck cab and trailer. (I purchased only for the truck to be clear) and finally saw this abomination of ABS plastic. These are a truely horrific knockoff. I have been thinking about writing a serious letter to Ebay about these Chinese distributors listing this crap under Lego on Ebay! . Those listing Megablock have no trouble staying out of Lego! But this Enlightenment is mucking up the search for Lego. THEY ARE NOT LEGO OR LIKE LEGO!!! AHHH
  24. I don't know, I think that seems a little steep. I'm gonna say $15-22 for the new police chase and $26-30 for the bank. Look at the new 7286 Prisoner Transport: 173 pcs-$19.99 I figure the car chase is anywhere from 115-190 pcs and the bank 220-280 pcs. The variable in pricing by oieces is the size of certain pieces. Oh well, we'll find out soon enough!
  25. Hi, I haven't read all the posts in this forum, but I agree with Davey and Kieldaman on the effects of extreme cold and ABS plastic. As most know cold = shinkage (not noticibly though) and brittleness (recommended if you plan on on smacking them with a hammer ) But sick jokes aside, I have tons of sets I have stored in my attic, stickers applied on many. While I can't check on the unopened, I DO check on the others. The average temp up there during the night (coldest) is between 22-32 degrees F. It's not as cold as our neighbors up north, but still noticbly cold.. As for stickers, they are all intact with no pealing at the corners. I also have a Lego City in a room/closet with similar temps (no insulation) where I have a sticker sheet from over 12 years ago.(California Lego Truck ) The leftover sticker is just as it was back then. I know this bc I finally made a trailer for it a few months ago and applied two of the three stickers. Further proof of there durability is another sticker sheet from set 6540 Pier Police, unused, that is just like brand new. All of my Lego are subject to temp changes from the 20s to 90s yearly and so far I have seen no damage. I hope this helps!
