  1. These are the only MOCs that have lasted from my childhood to teen years. These were built from 97-2004. A few have been modded too add color but, still have their original designs. They are as follows: 97 Utility Truck; 98' Sport Truck and SUV: 97' MTV Bullet w/ jet ski; Mariokart 64 racer; 97' Banshee 3-Wheeler (was watching 91's Batman while building); 98' Cargo Jet; 02' Rally Car. The cargo jet has been modded for more space in Jan. 2011 but, looks as it did 12 years ago. My brother collected Star Wars Ep.1. When he quit, I built this. Thinking about scrapping it now. Finally, as a kid, my neighbor hood friends an I built, what I call a Gravity Tram from 2004. Our longest span was almost a quarter mile down hill. I took about 2 1/2 minutes to run. I would like to rebuild this one and try again:wacko: Most have a safe place and will not be rebuilt, the ship and gravity tram are on the chopping block though:classic:
  2. Another great MOC Solstafir The size of the floor plan allowed great details without having them cramped. Again, very nice work
  3. Awesome house Solstafir The exterior is great but, step inside and whoa... As 'LT' said " totally awesome"! The details are great. I love the big screen t.v. Really great work. Keep it up
  4. Very tough choice on this... Easier to answer thinking back as a child/TFOL, sort of: 6335 Indy Transport, 6337 Fast Track Finish, and 4559 Cargo Railway (1st train set) These were some of the first sets I received when I was 10 or 11 and started really collecting Lego. As of now, those are still up, but I suppose any set I now buy becomes a favorite Cheesy response but, just don't look at them as a single set. It's too hard to single one out
  5. I take the heads that have additional features than the plain smile to use in my city. As for the torso/legs, mostly late 80's early 90's, that are all repeats designs get the plain smile faces and go in a multi-drawer sorting box. Also, all heads pre-92' with solid stud on top are connected and in their own drawer... I weird about separating them from the "modern" head. Not sure what I want to do with them, keep them incase I resell my sets to keep it original or sell them in sets of say 10 each?
  6. For all those who have a "mate" are lucky! Especially ones that embrace this hobby rather than running for the hills. I have no idea how I am to break this to one I eventually settle with. Ah, my love of Lego, a blessing and a curse... maybe?
  7. Being member 13598, there is no set... yet Lose the 1 and set 3598 is XXL 2000pc Tube from 2005. http://www.brickset.com/detail/?set=3598-1

  10. Great MOC lisqr Great details indeed. Everyone seems to love the lilly pads (me too) but, I like the goofball that fell in Some of those scenes made me laugh! Great job @lightningtiger, we can say lisqr didn't go overboard on this one (corny joke, I know)

  15. Toothpaste, really??? : I'm curious if that is not just a joke I've had a luck with Dawn dish soap (the POWER of Dawn!), a splash of this cherry scented car wash soap (obviously for the scent) and hot water (as hot as the water can get). I let them soak a while, depending on how dirty, before a scrub and then a good rinse. Th dawn isn't harsh on the bricks and seems to give them enhanced gripping force. I have done this on every set I have purchased "used" on eBay. Even sets from the 1980's with no damage done to the bricks. I've tried bleach on "yellowed" white pieces but, didn't really notice a difference. Although an hour bath may not have been long enough. Good luck!
  16. Bricklinked a couple orders. Bought a lot of ribbed 7mm d. pipe for construction site details and some parts to make some buoys
  17. A great set IMO. It'll be sad to see it go Better stock up! I will just use mine as a display set among the town instead of powering it. Seems like its quite inefficient due to the drivetrain It still looks good sitting still!
