  1. Anyone have pics of a MOC B-Unit for the BNSF? If I can get ahold of another, I'd like to BL order parts for one granted that it would be cost effective. Otherwise I'll make one for the Maersk. BTW neat idea for windows. I too, am not about to pay a couple bucks per part.
  2. Great MOD to the E. Night car AussieJ I love the presidential badge and the custom newspaper. An American show 'Pawn Stars" had someone trying to pawn one of those prints! How did you make them? Keep up the great work
  3. Yay winners! Enjoy your real neat prize! Great job to everyone that entered! All these entries where awesomely creative. I really enjoyed seeing them... Should have entered Great raffle CopMike
  4. I know how that is, missing out on the BNSF. I finally broke down and bought one off eBay for about twice its original cost Now they're even more... I will make sure I do not miss this set. Do I really NEED my car
  5. This Tahoe is awesome. Showed this to a friend of mine, who loves his Tahoe. His jaw didn't close for a few minutes Everything about this truck is awesome. The interior is awesome and the engine looks great. He really did great work on this build.
  6. Great VW bus mookage The "sliding door" mechanism is a clever solution and the flowers give it that extra touch. Very nice work, can't wait to see the beach seen
  7. Great MOCs Brickyrob Really great work. My favorites are the Mobile 1/ Lego Trucks, sports can and the red mini. Great job on the improvements
  8. Great rig and tractor Jac-63 I love the details on the truck cab and the grater looks good too. I've thought about trying to build one. Great idea and excellent job on the build. Keep it up
  9. Neat vig Shouldn't he be in the shower though Keep up the great work and welcome to EB
  10. Great review on a neat vintage set These pre-date me but, its nice to see them reviewed! Can't wait for the next one
  11. Great review KimT Can't wait till I am able to order mine!
  12. Great work 'LT' I can't wait to see it completely finished! Talk about a MOC; an entire town?! I can't say I'm familiar with any of these stores, (U.S. WV ) but, great job on the build!
  13. Unless you are trying to use bricks as supports the easiest way to build a raised section is with 2 x 4s or 1 inch round dowels and a piece of plywood for the surface. Cut the "legs" to the height you want. Then add hinges to another piece of plywood to act as a ramp and place a road plate to cove the plywood. Try not to make the incline too steep though. As for hiding the supports, more plywood walls or dry wall. All depends on how far you want to go in detail. Paint is, of coarse, optional. This requires minimal craftsman skills, measure (twice), cutting (once ), and nailing, or drilling. I, one day hope to build a table top layout with elevation variants. I will be using wood as the medium to build. Its the cheapest, strongest way to go in my opinion (IMO). Hope this helps
  14. A couple shots of the boat and trailer extension
  15. Won 3178 Seaplane for $6 Still waiting on a BL order
  16. I agree, unless you absolutely have to have those sets that are discontinued, I'd get whats available. Getting a second copy of a set or just another Lego exclusive set for parts to make a MOC seem like the way to go
  17. Great supermarket 'SR' That is a lot of yellow I really like the interior and the sliding doors are a very nice touch. Keep up the great work
  18. Great hotel snaillad The exterior and bus are great! The interior is very elegant. I love the first floor. Great job on this build
  19. Thanks for the comments Gregorovich, LT12V, LT, and Dan the B.man LT12V, the engine better be powerful. After all, TLG used the in the Sail n' Fly Marina power boats Lighningtiger, I fully agree. I thought the single axle would be alright because the boat/ trailer didn't seem long enough. I think I am going to extend both a little for more pilot/ copilot space and to compensate for the new axle I'll update when completed Dan the Brickman, funny coincidence, no? Skittles are great! Maybe photograph the boat on a sea of skittles
  20. Greetings everyone, This is a MOC I threw together in about a couple late night hours. I destroyed an old, blue and sand red, 8-wide platform boat. It was half megab****s (the sand red color). Then, sorted my pieces and came across a bunch of these colorful tiles and wedges. So, I built this 8-w from the ground up. I think an appropriate name to call this Jet Boat is "Skittles". I don't think I will try eating it though BTW sorry for any blurry pic(s), enjoy! (my big cat Smoky hanging around ) I slightly MODed the, 7635, 4wd to look more like my tri-black 92' Isuzu Trooper. I really love that car I don't think this will be the main hauling vehicle. The power plants: Finally, the trailer: Probably going to add a second axle. All together, the boat and trailer are rather heavy due to the bulky bricks used but, am pleased with its turnout. It's the most colorful thing in the city! Tell me what you think!
  21. Awesome roadtrain I can't believe you built a working version! Awesome details and great color scheme. Great job on this!
  22. Great Fighter you built there 'Danpb' For some reason it reminds me of the movie series 'Alien' Great little MOC, anyways
  23. As 'LT' and 'Syn' said, great Tudor style home The outside is terrific. Very colonial. The inside is great too, very Lego (tight) It all looks wonderful. Keep up the great work
  24. I believe I can help you with this part. I know I received one of the two of these parts in an eBay bulk list. I'll see if I can find it Edit: Sorry, I just found the part but, it's the other one with the red mug, telephone, and water tap.
  25. If you want them as a set I would say start with the Fire Brigade, as it is probably up first on being discontinued. Then get the GE and finally the Pet Shop. Voila, a nice start for current modular layout. You'll have plenty of time to get the pet shop and I'm pretty sure same goes for the GE. I'd say forget about trying to get the others (i.e. Market St, GG, and CC) as they are just too much. That is unless you have that kind of money to burn, in which case, I'd check bricklink or craigslist, maybe eBay. If you want to make MOCs out of them, I would still go for the FB or GE first. Like I said you have a couple years to get the new PS. Really the only bad answer is to miss out one these great sets. I almost did but, am so happy I bought them:classic:
