Yeah, late 09' I started up again. I went after all the 80's and 90's sets I missed out on then moved to the newer from 07 and up. Most are in my attic in bins or still in their boxes. I hope to one day build a large table for all of them. Unfortunately I love the new city sets and hope to one day add them. I really could use a warehouse

Great review so far 'Flb'. Love this set! Can't wait to see the part 4!

Thanks for the comments 'FLB', KielDaMan', and 'AussieJimbo'. 'Fuzzylegobricks': I hope the scale is right. I'm relatively new to detailed MOCs Last night I decided to build the prototype for the body of the truck and came up with this. Don't mind the colors, had to borrow some pieces from some sets . I have some reservations regarding the front end. Its relatively true to the real truck as it has a long nose but, I think I will extend the bed a stud or two to even it out. Right now its looking like an old Oshkosh snow plow. Let me know what you think! Additions to the chassis: The cab and bed box prototype: Profile: Removable top for those sunny days: Next time hopefully I'll have these pieces in the right color. Thanks for looking

Those repairs sound tricky! Space always seems to be an issue, I have the same problem. I can't "modernize" my city with sets 09' and newer. My city only has 2 new small buildings built, as well as, a few vehicles. The rest are at least 10 years old. How much space do you have for expansion?

Awesome creations 'ACCURATEin'. I especially like the ambulance. This will make an awesome gift. Great job!

Thanks 'Lt' and 'FLB' for your kind comments comments. I can't decide if it I'm going to start the cab with this piece or BL order pieces to build one.

What Ever Happened to the Train Engine Shed?
LEGO Guy Bri replied to WesternOutlaw's topic in LEGO Train Tech
I'm voting hoping for a a new cargo center. We are long over do. After all all we had the BNSF and TTX now we have 7939, as well as, the Maesrk. Where are all these crates supposed to be off loaded? -
ASK HERE How to clean your LEGO sets/parts?
LEGO Guy Bri replied to jngunsw's topic in General LEGO Discussion
I use a table top fan on high. I la them out, generally with the underside facing the wind ( I know, der) and leave them for about an hour or two. Then voilà -
Close 'Clone O'Patra' but, like 'MacK' said, "it's a mishmash of parts". It's a tricky one. What I found based on this ones colors, its this part with the top head piece of this part on top of that part with this tail on this base. Someone got creative but, yes these are verified Lego parts, whew

The Eurobricks Reviewers Academy
LEGO Guy Bri replied to Bonaparte's topic in Forum Information and Help
I can't believe I missed this, I'd love to join! I have tons of city sets that have no reviews 80's-pres. I'd like to give, as many as I can, a go. I do read all city and train reviews and learned a thing or two about properly prepaing them. That said I will not double review a set, as I see it isn't necessary. I have three small set reviews for 6453 Police 4x4, 6525 Blaze Commander, and 6662 Backhoe as a trial run so far. I'm always looking to help out this site as I love Lego! -
My first MOC
LEGO Guy Bri replied to P4trickvH's topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale Modeling
Looks like a new acronym should be created for that then. Suggest COMOC>copy of my own creation? Still this looks good 'P4trickvH'. Definitely would be cool to have in a collection, especially for when it snows -
Won a set from my youth, 715 Basic Building from 1990 with a bonus of 6445 Emergency Evac.

Great review 'Pandora'. I like this set quite well. It's neat but, nothing to special. Nowhere near as cool as 6543 Marina though. I look forward to adding it to my beach with a bit of tweaking. Thanks for the review
-
Looks good 'LegoSjaak'. Can't wait to see those Maersks running! I'd help you run the trains but, I don't think my remote signal will transmit that far One question (actually two) though, can you or how do you reach the sets at the far end? Do they stay static? Anyway I look forward to your next video, I love seeing other large layouts

Great job, 'HeLena'. Another wonderful vig. Love the modern spin on this classic, keep it up

Wow this is very impressive 'JJG'. There is so much to look at! The exterior is unbelievable and so many details on the inside. The motorcycle and 'stained glass' are awesome. How did you create that? They're not stickers are they? Great job on this build!

Hello everyone, I don't normally MOC as I keep all my sets built but, I saw something I really wanted in my driveway. Since I don't have $16,000 for a refurbished, I'll settle building an 8-wide REO M35 2 1/2 ton (deuce in a half). I used to drive one, a water tanker for dust/dirt control, for a coal company. Since then, I always wanted one. A couple months ago I watched an episode of Extreme 4x4 where they "bobbed" one (took off one axle) and constructed a custom box to transport a Suzuki Samurai turned crawler. It was their largest build with their smallest build. That is my inspiration to build on. It is still a work in progress as I ran out of pieces suited to the build. So here is a play by play of the build. The chassis: With it's future cargo: The power plant, a 7.8L Turbocharged multifuel: It's profile and front end: Finally the drivetrain: This is all for now, still waiting on a few BL orders to come in, as well as, figuring what parts I still need. Thanks for looking, check back in! Questions and comments appreciated

Neat shunter 'mrblue'. Amazing you where able fit all that PF equipment inside such a small shunter. Too bad you can't have a conductor. Great job anyway

I started really collecting mid 90's so the majority of my current displayed collection is of the 4-wide era... err pre Town Jr. I love the trains from then but, as far back as I can remember, I would always drool over 96's 6335 Indy Transporter. Those sets that made the entire Indy car racing teams are, IMHO, the best TLG has produced. That said, I'd still say 6395 Victory Lap Raceway is right there with them. At least the main structure is. I'm still trying to get one. Maybe one day, well here is a photo of a section of my motor speedway, currently under development.

I'd say go with a head shop or alternative music store. The store colors are bright and the windows dark. Better for keeping mature products out of view of the kids hanging around the bike/skate shop and pizzaria Can't wait to see its progression

A few more small BL orders for a few car MOCs
-
Awesome creations added to your city 'badger' Terrific progression on your city. I look forward to your next project. Keep up the great work
-
Neat sidewalk cafe 'LCM'. Reminds me of the one from the Paradisa subtheme, just no pink or other pastel colors This color scheme would better suit my city as well

Good job 'Arcanine' Looks like your mall has a lot to offer your town. Keep it up
