You could give everyone rings, since its a wedding, Maybe give people 2 https://www.bricklink.com/v2/catalog/catalogitem.page?P=11833#T=S&C=110&O={"color":110,"minqty":"100"} A clip, and a jewl. They would get a little lego wedding ring, and it probably wouldn't cost over $20 US. Additionally, you could just give everyone a https://www.bricklink.com/v2/catalog/catalogitem.page?id=110116#T=S&O={"minqty":"100"} That would be cheap as well, and also is ring themed. Congratulations by the way.

Welcome to BoBS professor Thaum! I like your introductory build. The story is funny as well. you're going to want to build a ship fast if you wasn't to meet the MCRA deadline.

From the logs of Dr. Abigail Joyce, Wayfarer Trading Company's Chief Explorer. Day 42 cont. "We were invited to speak with the king, or head priest. The word didn't really translate. We were brought up into the temple where the King's throne was. The rest of our party waited outside." Treasure trove by North White, on Flickr "The King asked us if we we could provide us with more sacrifices, in turn they would provide us with gold. Additionally, they wanted guns and steel swords so they could defeat the other tribe on the island. I tentatively agreed." Treasure trove by North White, on Flickr "The king was pleased. He then asked us if we knew any Mardiens. I replied to him that we did not. Treasure trove by North White, on Flickr "Suddenly, a warrior came running in. He said something in a panicked voice." Treasure trove by North White, on Flickr "With a bang, he fell to the ground. The Mardiens walked into the throne room." Treasure trove by North White, on Flickr "The two warriors were summarily executed. The king raised his hands in surrender." Treasure trove by North White, on Flickr "The Mardien Captain Shot the king. He fell to the ground dead. 'Good to see some civilized people around here,' he said to me." Treasure trove by North White, on Flickr "You've saved us quite a bit of time sir. I said. 50/50 split of the gold? I know you wouldn't want to risk a war with Corrington..." "Sounds good to me," He said, and side by side, we worked together to steal all the gold." Treasure trove by North White, on Flickr FIN Thank you for viewing my entry into challenge 5E This concludes the three part saga. C&C appreciated!

Wow, you're a really good builder. I especially like the turntable. I think you should switch to flickr though, it's a lot nicer when the pictures are on the thread, I don't like having to click a link to view someone's MOC.

Nice build! It really captures the real thing.

Great end to AG Professor. A nice build as always. I really wish we could have done a colab. Maybe in AG2?
-
Nice build! I like how you were able to fit a ship into such a small space.
-
I love the action shot you did here, great MOC overall. What did you use for the roof though? I don't recognize the pieces.
-
The Market is really well made. I like how everything fits into such a small space.
-
Great end to your story Goatman. The builds look pretty nice too. And thank you for answering my soul question.
-
Great end to your story Lucas! The little Octan ships are great, as is the mess hall. I'm looking forward to see what you do for AG2!
-
Nice build Brickwolf, I've enjoyed viewing your builds over the past year or so.

I still can't believe all we're getting is the silent Mary and the brick heads. I think the silent Mary is great on its own, but as the only real set in the wave, just kills me. I bought almost every set in the original potc run, simply because the sets and the figures were so good, and all we're getting this time is like 1 scene from the movie.

Location: B06 Sorn Tags: Exploration Icarus Returning's crew sat on the beach. It was a beautiful day. The sun was shining, and the breeze was nice. AG finale by North White, on Flickr "Captain, do you think we should actually do our job?" Asked Rusty AG finale by North White, on Flickr "Rusty, Kawashita is like Rome. And when in Rome? Do as the Romans." Replied Captain Mesabi AG finale by North White, on Flickr "So... do Nothing?" "Exactly." FIN Thank you for viewing the finale of my AG1 Builds! I've gone along way since I started. I know I'm not the best builder, but ya'll viewed and commented on me anyways. I'd like to thank the judges, and the staff. Thank you to @EpsilonEta for helping me start, @Dannylonglegs for doing my first CoLab with. I don't know where you are man, but I hope you come back to Eurobricks. Captain Mesabi and crew will return in AG2 whenever that happens. Octan may have won, but Kawashita is always the winner in spirit. Oh, and this build was originally for BoBS. So, feel free to deduct points if necessary, at this point it's like whatever.

From the Logs of Dr. Abigail Joyce, Wayfarer Trade Company's chief explorer. Day 42 "It took us several days of exploring in the jungle before we found the natives. They appeared peaceful, at first. They greeted us cordially, and through an interpreter, one asked us to attend a ceremony. If it brought us closer to the Gold, we were happy to oblige." Treasure trove by North White, on Flickr "Through the jungle we went, following a past that went past a burbling stream. Further expeditions would be able to identify the many new species of plants and birds that swarmed the jungle. I must confess, however, that I was not the ideal Corrington scientist. I had student debt, and I could really use a cut of the gold to pay them off." Treasure trove by North White, on Flickr "We all gathered in front of a platform, covered in gold. A glittering chest full of gold sat above us, an alter for their heathen gods. We were so close then. I began formulating a plan in my mind." Treasure trove by North White, on Flickr "They Natives brought out a hostage, a thin man who appeared to be of Mardien descent. He seemed frightened." Treasure trove by North White, on Flickr "The Native priests threw him over the alter. Slowly, the high priest raised his blade." Treasure trove by North White, on Flickr "We watched in silent horror as the Priest brought the knife down. Our interpreter explained. The Gold must be blessed with blood." Treasure trove by North White, on Flickr "When the priest was finished, the body was cast over the side, into a pile of bones." Treasure trove by North White, on Flickr "Our interpreter told us that we would speak to the King now that the ceremony was finished. Clearly, we had to take the gold from these Heathen savages. But where were the other Mardiens?" Treasure trove by North White, on Flickr FIN Thank you for viewing the second installment of Challenge 5 part E. This is my 32x32 entry. C&C appreciated. I want to ask you guys though, am I making these to violent? I've definitely have been going for a PG13 rating because we're all adults here, but I'm not sure if people enjoy that. Let me know if you do or don't like that.

[ESL] Hojaroja Episode 1: A discrete arrival
Mesabi replied to Phadeout's topic in Brethren of the Brick Seas
Nice build! I really like how you did the water. How you did the rowboat is nice as well. Overall, it's a great build! -
CH V - Cat B - The Death of Brickwall Jackson
Mesabi replied to Captain Braunsfeld's topic in Brethren of the Brick Seas
Well this puts my entry to shame. I love the scenery, and the Mardein troops are fantastic. I'm not a big fan of the brickbuilt boat though. I feel like it doesn't add anything to the MOC, and a regular Dingy would have been fine instead. -

From the Logs of Abigail Joyce. Wayfarer Trade Company's Chief Explorer. Day 1. Treasure trove by North White, on Flickr "I had met with Captain Mesabi beforehand about arranging this voyage. He was a grizzled veteran, a little eccentric, but seemed willing to fund my voyage. He kept mentioning his hatred of Oleon, and how exploring a mysterious island for gold would be a really good way to hurt Oleon. He agreed to get me a ship, troops and supplies. Today, was the day we launched." Treasure trove by North White, on Flickr "The Marshall and the Governor's Accountant joined us on the deck of the Suckerfish the small ship that I was given for the passage to the Island of Gold. They both looked a bit annoyed at the occasion. I overheard them talking amongst themselves. 'Is it really a good idea to send marines on a voyage to a completely unknown island?' Asked the accountant. 'I don't think it's a good idea either, but these men are completely expendable.'" Treasure trove by North White, on Flickr "Captain Mesabi handed me a map. 'Godspeed Dr. Phillips. May Poseidon grant you a safe journey.' He smiled, and the three men boarded the dingy and left. We soon set off for new lands." Treasure trove by North White, on Flickr "I adjourned to my cabin. I had maps to study. Preliminary reports from fishermen and Mardien intercepts told of Natives that were friendly and rich in gold. What would this strange new land hold? Only time would tell." FIN Thanks for viewing my first installment in the Category 5E challenge. This is my unlimited size build. C&C appreciated. I currently have no plans to license this vessel. I may modify it to be a class 5F, but I'm not sure what the exact rules are for licensing challenge builds.

Great build! I really like the the train station and the train as a whole. It does look a bit plain though, I think it could use some decals.

Out of some sad form of pity, Captain Mesabi had donated half a doubloon to the Mardien Defense fund. This is where the money went. Mardien Militia stood on the shore of Skaford's Landing. Heroic commander Jacobus Sien stood vigilant for the Eslandola attack force. Till my dying breath by North White, on Flickr The Elsandolans launched their boats from Warships off the coast. Their elite troops were ready for landing. Till my dying breath by North White, on Flickr Shots were fired, but they all missed. Each side reloaded as the lifeboat rowed closer. Till my dying breath by North White, on Flickr A second wave of shots were fired. a Mardien was killed. Till my dying breath by North White, on Flickr With a war cry, the Eslandolans leaped out of the boat. The Mardiens struggled to reload their muskets before the Eslandolans could overtake them. Till my dying breath by North White, on Flickr A shot rang out, and an Eslandolan Elite fell backwards into the water, a cloud of blood emerged in the water. Till my dying breath by North White, on Flickr The Eslandolan leader reached Jacobus. He was busy loading his rifle. They locked eyes. Till my dying breath by North White, on Flickr With a bang, he fell. The Mardiens had failed. Perhaps on another beach, they had prevailed, but here, the Eslandolans took the day. The leader blew the smoke wafting out of his pistol. Till my dying breath by North White, on Flickr Jacobus's hat lay over his face, covering up the massive hole where his face had been. Till my dying breath by North White, on Flickr Soon, more Eslandolans would be landing. But the first battle was over. Till my dying breath by North White, on Flickr FIN Thanks for viewing my first entry in a BoBS contest! This is for Mardien, even though the Eslandolans win. C&C appreciated!

Very nice build! I like all the techniques you used. The hanging barrels are really a nice touch.

Your best prices from a major retailer?
Mesabi replied to BubbaFit45531's topic in Buy, Sell, Trade and Finds
Really I think the whole retail scene is overrated for lego. I've been lucky to get sets 40-60% off at shopko, but those have been really lucky finds. I usually just buy sets without mini figures on eBay, for a lot cheaper.- 16 replies
