  1. Thats what I was sorta getting at. This model doesn't have a ton of original design, its more of a merging of others work.
  2. Looks good! You can see the influence of other MOCers though, it seems like a lot of techniques are theirs... I also think its not quite fat enough. I just see a bit too much of other designs, maybe its just me.
  3. Good observation I wonder if any of the other frigate figs will appear, Vos? Koth?
  4. Fantastic review! Thanks KimT. The only thing I might reccomend is more fitting minifig models. (Like the feale body part on the mustache guy looked... )
  5. I've been watching some SW too. I did Rots a few days ago, I wasn't in the mood so I watched Zombieland instead. Alice is a great flick, I saw it when it came out. I love that movie. As I said above I watched zombieland, BLech. It was a little gross, and I've never been one for dark humor
  6. Never realized you took requests, wood you mind doing mine? Your art is fantastic! My sig is this torso, a dobby head, and a long lego star wars rifle. Thanks, and looks like you busy so take your time! BTW what program do you use?
  7. It's so.....just...
  8. Did you just link your own model?
  9. Uhm on bricklink Aayla is 20 bucks. Not that cheap. The figure isn't damaged, and usually the other figs are decent.
  10. Those look fantastic TT. I think you might want to flip the brick on their blasters so their scopes are on top of blasters though: How many are you gonna make?
  11. These are probably from when TLG stopped manufacturing chrome hilts. I wonder if it also has to do with the transition from grey to bley.
  12. Mmm no. The only set is the Bfg, and Geonosian starfighter. that has to do with the second battle... Maces JSF, its just the box-art. The BPs don't have anything to do with it.
  13. Yeah, it was just a regular jetpack.
  14. I want all the phase 2 clones, and the white ones. PM me.
  15. For me it's a rough sketch, a little bit of virtual thought designing, some refference pics, and a handful of bricks that might come in handy. For big SW stuff it's nice to have some technic as well. For other themes it might be a little different though. I do a prototype model too. Upload that and develop it with the help of EBs wonderful community.
  16. I read it- I was just stating how its not it not a matter of money, its just common sense. Why would anybody pay that much for LEGO elements and sets available for much less elsewhere?
  17. NEVER buy from toy wiz.
  18. A bit bland. It needs more than some shrubs,BURPs(Big Ugly Rock Pieces), figs, and bricks though. It shows a lot of baseplate. It would look better if you tiled/plated it. It looks a little odd with grey ground, and then shrubs.
  19. I remove mine all the time-I use hands in just about all my MOCs, and arms are handy too. For hands try squeezing the end of the arms in a bit, making the socket titer. I don't know what to tell you about the arms, though.
  20. Yeah theres two ways of building these small models. Do what I did in V.1 and accommodate for the figs weird proportions(TLGs way as well), or what I have now. Which is building a model that is proportionate to a 'real' person, then adding the fig. I'll post my next version without a fig on top.
  21. I don't know guys, it seemed like everyone had something 'brick' in their name, and I was in the mood for something different. If every body despises it, I'll put it back in a year.

  22. Ok I'll try to end this once and for all. I have to make my case Picture 1 Picture 2 Ok look at picture 1 long and hard. Done? Look at it more. Look at the proportions, think about size. Now look at picture two. See the biker on the right? Look st how far up the seat goes on his back. Now look back at 1. Now think about how many clone torsos would go across the front-side of the speeder. I'd say 3, sound about right? Now look back at one. This is the visual process I went through to build this. These are the dimensions I will be using for V6. Fallen and I had a PM discussion to decide on these, and Brickdoctor seconds them. Those are very talented vehicle MOCers, and enough word for me.
  23. Good topic! Remember not to quote pics, just reply or cut it out. I use Shiny black bricks, they just look so presentable and sleek. Sometimes I use an emblem as well.
  24. I decided brickartist was too....Bland and boring. So I went Dobby on you guys. You can still call me brickartist.
  25. I was tempted to point that out, it's a little obnoxious when people join to promote their vids/Blogs.
