  1. It is a small ship, do you mean that in the sense it's too small? Thanks CF! USB was an amazing set, that's for sure.
  2. Thanks masked. I'm not sure how to structure those panels, I may just do a BL order and do them, along with the rest of the model in SNOT. That would look much better. In my next version I think i'll rework that whole portion of the design. Thanks Fallen, I'm gonna try and cover it all in V2 Yeah, I was wondering if anybody would point that out. The reason is my design, unlike some of my other models, I kinda threw this one together, I didn't plan detail I sorta plopped it on top. In V2 I'll probably sketch it out and what not.
  3. I've been thinking about the cockpits alot, and yes they aren't satisfactory. I may brick build them in the end. For The tale gunners cockpit, I'm lost. does anybody know if Tlg has made a quarter dome cockpit?
  4. I have some CW clones that I might trade/sell. I have rex too. I'm looking for phase 2 clones, as well. Do you like knights? I have loads and loads.
  5. Thanks sonic. I wouldn't compare to TLGs, as it itself isn't all that accurate. But I do agree after looking at some other reference with that in mind. Yeah they're a bit small, I was sorta at a lack of Dk. Red. I forgot to stick an astro head on there Oops!
  6. Yeah, the print has faded through 5 years of bins. I may have to use the new stickered piece. As soon as I find some more cheese it'll be complete.
  7. Ok guys, here's my progress so far. I've done the body, yet I'm not so sure about dimensions. it's 41 studs long and 10 studs wide. I've left the Technic there to leave open possibilities for wing/engine attachment. And the nose: snip And the piloting cockpit: snip C&C Requested! EDIT:Sorry those last two weren't resized, I'll put 'em up later.
  8. Hi everyone! This MOC was inspired by me missing out on a somewhat old and rare set; 'Ultimate Space Battle', which to this day is the only way to get obi-wans Eta-2 Actis-class Light interceptor, also known as the Dk.red ship he flew to rescue the chancellor. Naturally I wanted to do my own rendition. Here 'goes! Thanks for looking, C&C welcome!
  9. As I said earlier:
  10. That was an absolute treat to read, brickadeer. Woderfully put,
  11. KDM speeks the truth, they aren't thinking OMG the s foils are undersized! They're thinking this is gonna look like a MF, the kids will love it! And the pilot is a gift guys! As well as gunray!
  12. Nice to see some good discussion going on here, everyone I think the advent calender is going to be quite controversial, obviously. I will be buying it, though. Ever body brings up good points about the pros, and cons of the calender. I think some models are a tad bit lacking, yet some are nice models. There are some little things that could be done, like sticking a pair of binoculars on top of the MF to represent guns. However some models are quite nice, like the x-wing. I will be posting a mini lamba shuttle soon, with 15 parts or so.... Lets hope that the two figs we are yet to get are good ones.
  13. Well, lets see. I think the reason most peolpe love these sets because at the time part counts were off the charts, and sets included masses of figs. In comparison to kingdoms, they are somewhat superior. Collectors would despise this though. As far as the market goes, kids see the piece of eye candy that the kings castle is, abd overlook the simple black falcon fortress. I can't picture them doing it ever.
  14. It's never a good idea to base fig speculations of pics where the limbs are in those weird positions. I think it'll be the same fig.
  15. Thanks Yogi, Yeah the legs are may be weird, my next version has something special in store, though.
  16. That is seriously disappointing I mean really? Yoda? Sooo much more they could of done here. Of course, though, they had to go with yoda head on a santa torso. I think I might buy it though, cause the other figs are good.
  17. Hi there! Welcome to EB, I'm sure the more you explore lego, the more it will become a hobby of yours. I hope you get into MOCing, maybe we can see some MOCs based off of these wargames.
  18. I think Fallen may have had some good points, but phrasing them differently might be a good idea.
  19. SNOT is so sleek, so beautiful, and just looks so much better than studded wings IMO. I think SNOT is more acceptable for the Arc-170 due to the wide wingspan, and it also works well for the white, to Dk. Red color transition(With plates there is a color overlap ).
  20. Nice work here, Yogi. i like what you've done with the sides, and missile launchers. Yet, I think SNOT might be a good idea to get rid of the gappiness in the tiles. Also, the yellowed tiles might detract fro the look a little.
  21. I always thought EU said some really powerful dude won the battle, and made the rule by only training one more.
  22. Haha, good one. Single pained Licensed-funnies topic anyone?
  23. Urgh, I meant I don't particularly want excessive realism, or no realism. It's a matter of opinion which is more realistic, not fact as you treat it... No, all it takes is 'X-wing'. .....waits a few... he'll be here...
  24. Thanks, I need to buy that cross section book. Thanks for those, Pics. I think I'll make it a bit smaller. Yeah, I wish there was a better way to connect those wings, though. Technic looks so ugly.
  25. Hi everyone, my next project will be a minifig scale ARC 170. I want it to have SNOT wings, and every detail possible. Does anyone know of/have blueprint pics? I'm also wondering what a stable connection is for those wide SNOT wings is? I'm thinking 65 studs wide, and 39 long (When I did the math I was like ). It's gonna be big!
