  1. Yup-The 327th is pinned down being annihilated by seps, anikan rescues them.
  2. Thanks 12 volts! It's not a bump unless the topic is way old though
  3. He could integrate it with his plates to maintain a certain level of originality. The bit sticking out on the underside wouldn't look half bad either.
  4. Thanks for the review! IMO this set was horrendous, but it's still a classic. (Notice, I used the 'classic' smiley )
  5. I think it's possible TLG will do something similar to the ARF, and re-structure their helmet completely to accommodate a clone head.
  6. He-hem. To culture and multi-media with you!
  7. That post hurts my eyes. could you please structure you posts making them read-able, and not use excessive exclamation points, and caps.
  8. I don't think Lucas could make a better move than to ROTS-ify the ENTIRE CW phenomenon. Everybody likes phase II troops better, the Eta-2 is a more graceful and intriguing ship, and the variety in Phase IIs would skyrocket sales for everybody. I don't know if lucas has noticed, but people like clones. They like 'em in action, and they like 'em in their lego sets. It's a win, win, win(Lucas, Consumer, Distributor ).
  9. Well, I think both sites have MOCers of all levels, like here on EB we're accepting of MOCers who are still getting the hang of it. What really defines the two IMO is eurobricks' structure as a sort of community. I can name all the usernames who are constantly in our LSW forum, MOCpage users can't say the same. Also on eurobricks immature actions are more quickly addressed and noticed. I received you PM-I'll be writing you another soon. I'm also going to BL some tiles I think. I'll also probably zap you a PM with the start of my UCS ISP at some point.
  10. I'm so sorry edmond, I've been working on some MOCs, and I've also been very busy of late. I'll get you a pic soon, and I'll give you some free stuff with you buy
  11. I think that belongs here, or you might get a better answer faster at least. HJH covered most of it, but I believe they even decide what figs to use in their model, they also don't build with pre-set part counts.
  12. I wouldn't call it disturbing, but I'll explain where I was coming from. Flickr(Alike MOCpages) isn't a structured forum like eurobricks. People on flickr want hits, on EB you want feedback. If everyone started requesting comments this forum would become one big competition for who can get the most views/comments.That would really degrade from the over-all EB experience. Sorry for the misunderstanding. Anyways, thanks for all the compliments and feedback everybody. I'll do some work on that nose, which seems to be the more difficult part of the build(Surprisingly). Due to another MOC I'm working on, I'm low on tiles But I'll try to get rid of those studs.
  13. I know what you mean-I think when I built it it was proportionate, but not scale to this model. Here's another shot: Yeah I think I'll give that portion a bit of work. On another forum a lot of people said they wanted less studs, so that was to satisfy them. I'm sorta liking the idea of making models usually made at minifig scale then UCSing them I might do Z-74, but I want to do a UCS ISP next.
  14. Thanks KimT, if you intend to Blog, I've got some updated pics that'll be up here soon. Here's some shots of the improvements I've made with the assistance of the one and only FallenAngel. I'll do a little tour of whats been improved. First off is the back, I've made it look rounder: Next is the Underside of the back, it looked better in Bley, and needed to gradually feed into the front: I flipped the pedals around so I could fit some cheese on there(Call me crazy!): Then I elongated and rounded off the front portion. I also added a taper on the underside, but when I did my photo-shoot I forgot to put my blasters on A side shot of the front: I'll update these into the first post in a little while.
  15. Those look good for your first customs! I like the sniper more than the commander, and the brick-built weapon looks fantastic. You might want to experiment with more common items, like say the current TCW clones, which most people tend to have tons of. Then experiment on the rare stormtroopers. Can't wait to see where you go with customization!
  16. I may be interested in the 'droids battle pack', 'Clone troopers Battle pack',and 'Hailfire droid and Spider Droid'. How much might you like for those?
  17. You don't by anything system, do you? Will be brick-building any of the droids, like what TLG tried to do? That would be a nice touch.
  18. Hmmm, find the worst, most horrendous SW set you own, and then run it over. That's the winner in my book.
  19. My BARC speeder-61 parts! This is a great move-to be honest I though bellvile was a bit degrading.
  20. Haha, if Cavegod does make a Vid it should include his crawler running over 3P0 so we can compare with Marshalls vid
  21. As fallen states, asking for hits in my topic is...not really welcome. I'll look at it at some point. I have seen your BARC, and you said 'if your trying it at minifigure scale' so I'm wondering if you have seen my most recent model: If you would like some help evolving your model, I can do that. I actually remember your original model, I offered some comments on that one any ways I'll say what comes to mind. Mmmm... You've got one pair of z-74 handlebars on there, you need 2 pairs, in a totally different shape. The repulsors on the front are HUGE, and don't come out from the front portion. The back is almost as long as the rest of the model. The gap in the front should be about a third the size it is now(It looks like a Sarlacc got hungy and chomped down on it). The hammers on the back are on backwards, and last but not least if a droid shoots the rear repulsor then that ARF trooper is screwed 'cause you don't got no armor! Anyways thanks for the offer, but I'm good for now.
  22. I'm actually going with BrickDoctor on that one-I tried it out and it looks loads better than the plates did-so it'll stay. Don't forget the UT-AT, Crab Droid, and AT-RT, but yes they're all on hold, actually. I think when I'm satisfied with my BARC I'll take a little MOCing vacation. On the other-hand I have a venator command center ready, just need to photograph it!
  23. Recieved and skimmed, I'll zap you one back and read more thoroughly when I get the chance. I just reworked the rear repulsors and dome-I'll get some pics up when I get the chance. It certainly makes for a better display. Which is precisely the reason that I don't call it V7-It's not a part of that models evolution. Speaking of V7 I'll try to have that up next week.
  24. Yeah I wish I could get the Dk. Red perfects-maybe next time. Thanks Doc! Yeah-I wasn't really pleased with the back, either. I'll give that a try when I start tinkering with it some more.
  25. Frolando, I was actually inspired by this. Mine is roughly to the same scale. I believe it's the first UCS BARC on the web, but I'm not entirely sure. Thanks to all of you, I'm gonna play around with it tonigh
