Great customs Brickplace, as usual clean work on the decals. I like the airborne the most. The commander looks fantastic as well, but maybe a pauldron for him? Great stuff, I envy your 41st elite

Wow, I love this! The landscaping is great, you have effectively used BURPs, the incorporation of the printed pieces, and techniques in the walls are fantastic, and the transition from rocks to gateway is perfect. Now onto the few criticisms I have; The SNOT water is looking a bit bland, try some light blue, Dark blue, and white plates for transitions. The sand is a little simple for my liking-Perhaps more tan plates overlapping into the water. Last but not least-You haven't made enough forestmen MOCs Can't wait for more! Great work!

Some scenes are hard to make out with the on-screen words and videos. If you have a friend with more of a particular phase II color clone you may want to see if you can get a hold of some for the poto-shoot. MOCs usually look much better with one type of clone. This looks good, from what I can tell. I see you've got some greenery, and some nice Fig positions. I recommend you scrap the BURPs(Big Ugly Rock Piece) and brick-build your rock face. Also you should add plates to give a little un-even feel to the ground beneath the greenery. But its a nice start, I like the ruins.

And as I stated-There is no way TLG would/could/should release anything to do with JP,CC, or a real hoth base with that amount of parts, and 1 new minifig.

These rumored ones are sort of referred to as the Home one/Massive style playset. I was ruling out the ones yo listed because A: They weren't really substantial Dios like the Home one and DS. Most of those are sort of Half-Way-There play features, like the wampa cave. B: One could argue that echo base 2 wasn't even really a Dio set, It was like 5 figs, a gun, a Taun-Taun, and a turret-Doesn't remotely compare to the home one.

Great stuff 'DrNightmare', I like the Greebles on it, and the whole structure is quite nice as well. The engines are also looking fantastic.

Thanks Fallen! Those look very helpful. Comparing with the picture in the visual dictionary-I think that models whole proportions may be just slightly off, though. I may have to PM you when I get around to V2(I'm working on like 5 other projects right now ).

We have had what 3 rumored playsets that are not vehicles? and the only 1 we've had in the last 5 years? I think not. I'm guessing that either TLGs hiding its UCS very well, or we will be getting one of these as a massive DS replacement. My guess is a new UCS model, and the hoth base. I can't see a CC and Jabbas palace playing to the picture.

Because I thought that in-universe was what you were referring to. What would you have liked him to do? Stretch? The focus was on grievous, so Ewan didn't have much to do other than stand there. Yes, however executing somebody is against the code. Also if you think about the cinematics of lightsaber duels, then grievous blocks Obi-wans strike with 2 of his blades, he has 2 more to jab into Obis chest. This is why he lets grievous have the first move, then when the opportunity comes he'll star cutting off arms to level the playing field.

The choice of white was actually a somewhat symbolic choice on the armys part: It was their way of saying they didn't fear the enemy. Snipers weren't heavily employed by BDs at all either. Elite clone specialists dealing with particular assignments and non-droid enemies may have employed camo, as well(41st elite). Great Funnies, guys! It seems as though your acting like your opinion is the opinion, and not allowing the PT any benefit of the doubt, because you have already decided you don't like it. Why go after this scene? as Brickdoctor said it was likely for story's sake. In-Universe though, I think even Obi-Wan couldn't take all those droids, magnaguards, and grievous all at once?!? The rate of fire on a droideka compensates for its lack of shields. Grievous and Kenobi wanted to settle it face to face, fair and square. And Obi executing him would violate the jedi code

You left out the fact that he was surrounded by 100+ BDs, droidekas, and SBDs. A move on grievous and he would have been executed, grievous wanted to personally take care of Kenobi. Had Obi-Wan of striked, Grievous would have whipped out his blades. Remember that Obi felt he could take on Vader in ANH, and this duel was one of his last. So are you comparing Grievous to Vader?

Eventually TLG will run out of ideas for their BPs, and will have to resort to individual PT battles, random OT factions, and the EU.

I was merely referring to the fact that many techniques that have been complemented are not original ones, in fact alomost the entire build is other MOCers. Perhaps Siseon could address individually the techniques that are other MOCers?

As I said earlier, that's all point of view. You see, while you might like the simple story, I like the complex detailed structure RotS has. It's not like inception or anything-There is a story, it's more a question of do you want to learn it.

I missed that earlier-this is so true. Nobody in this forum, red letter media, or out in the world could have made SW. The story he put together is just...something else. I respect Lucas on so many levels.

Hmm, looks pretty good. I like the base, and the little mining looks good. But I seriously think this could be more than plates, 6 figs, a vehicle and some crates. Its a mine, so some rocks maybe? Some tiles would give it a rock-like look. Also maybe a little control center, that the clones are raiding? Experiment with little details to perfect the Vig.

I think as long as we acknowledge others points of view it should all be good. I'm trying to be respectful to the OT fans, or more realistically, those who put down RotS. I think that keeping an open mind should turn this thread into a discussion about what we like, what we don't like and why(Which is what I had hoped it would be). For example classifying the entire PT as bad movie making, might fall in the...disrespectful category. Thanks KDM! I agree, I like all of SW, the PT is my favorite, but I still love the OT/TCW.
