Wonderful story. It's nice to read your flashbacks and back stories. (also appreciate that you don't try to overly explain what most of us probably figured out already) I'm working on one for Raven too but don't really know how to best work it in to the story, I have an idea thou. I too like Abigail's room best but those bookshelfs are nice too. If I where to complain on anything it would we the photoshoped buildings not lining up with the windows. (but the building is seen from below where the window is higher up so it's hard to do anything about it. I think I think I recognize the art, are they from sim city or something?)

I stopped question Pombe's builds long ago. (The best explanation is probably that he was kidnapped and drudged by those “sales agents” long ago. But then he couldn't know about the Zoid and Merchant Confederacy . Lets just say he have a very vivid imagination ) What I mostly noted upon was why they didn't just go around the shark (I know what jumping the shark means, tvtropes have kept my up many long nights). Anyway, I made the explanation myself: Why aren't we just going around the shark? Because the build is only 8 studs wide. Sometimes I think you just aren't paying attention.

I thought we couldn't use old stuff in our weekly builds. At least not things that have been posted elsewhere more than 3 years ago. I know you used some builds from Mafia but then you tock time from AG to make them. Those where built long before AG. I know Bob have made spaceships that could be used for Kawashita. Could he then use them too (with a photoshoped extra Ocran ship docking or attacking) or do you have to have the model still put together? Maybe we should clarify the rules about this? I did include an animated gif of the suspension and this picture kind of show both Then I found those on my old brickshelf

Location: A07 - Lesser Direstan Tags: Exploration You will have to wait a little for the follow up on the Dust Demon story. This is a flashback from one of Raven's first adventures and take place before Retaliation and follow up right after Scouting land and sea. To summarize: Raven is on Lesser Direstan to investigate a faint energy signature. Because of the dangers this early in the exploration of the galaxy Raven is sent ahead of an exploration team. I promised to show what she found but then tactics and race for strategic planets took priority. Now we well see what it was that got classified with Omega level security. The discovery I have reached the source of the signal. It's not an enemy base. At least not MANTIS or Dust Demons. There will be more on this story later (like when I have no other ideas ) The hovercycle is the same as in Scouting land and sea. Un-rendered images in the spoiler

Am I the only one that think it's strange that no one other then Jeb have a helmet with cover, how the smoke stay in a trail and a FLAMTHROUER on an asteroid? Maybe it's the awesomnium increasing the gravity (wich would explain that flag too) making it posible to have an atmosphere or AG is VERY soft sci-fi. (Not counting Pombe's builds. They always make perfect sense )

Haa I didn't think about the build grading scale when I wrote that. But maybe it was an unconscious nudge to the judges for never giving me more than 4. (I know I got a 6 once but think that was to adjust my previous two 3s ) Thank you! I photographed the ship upside down (the ship was upside down, not me) to get a shot from the underside without needing to edit away the stand. Then I felt like edit away the entire background anyway. Thanks. The idea for the crash site turned out much better then I had hoped.

Thank you! The Andrasteia was my contribution to Challenge 2 category A. Getting information can be done in many ways and Raven is skilled in most of them. (as well as a lot of other things) But you might not want to but to much weight in to what she says. She WAS the best in here class but that only mean that she know what to say to get the best psychological effect. Whether she enjoy it or not is left unsaid

Cool spaceship! Sorry to here you are leaving. (you could always make ground scenes, Marden for example ) I don't know if the rules allow to use the same/similar build for two things. If you make a landscape it could be used on most planets in AG and we would get exploration bonus. Thank you for your contribution to AG! Location: B06 Tags: Spying Raven is finally doing the job she was hired for. The spaceships appearing in this are old and should not be judged. Dust Demon activity have been low ever since there main base blow up. There leader “the Commodore” was presumed killed in the explosion and the mold inside Kawashita was killed by Koro. But now Demons have started raiding again and Raven is sent to put a stop to it once and for all. From the hard drives Raven stole they can hack the Demons flight schedules. Important officers are about to traveling to Sorn. Raven is sent to intercept. A friendly conversation In the skies above Sorn. BHOOOM!! KRASH!!! Raven search the crashed drop ship and “rescue” two survivors. After a “friendly conversation” with one of them, a Dust Demon Officer, Raven learn that the Commodore is still alive and where there new main base is as well as a lot of other useful things. Thank you for your cooperation. A pleasure talking to you. She go over to the other one. I didn't know you where supposed to be on that ship but this is a nice little bonus. Am I supposed to know you? Well, you certainly tried for about 40 minutes. What the block are you talking about. Who are you? You don't recognize me, do you? Does his sound familiar? She changes her voice to sad and afraid. “My name is Sarah Connor, I swear. Please. Don't hurt me.” Raven can see in his frightened eyes that he now recognizes her and realize who was responsible for the destruction of the Guinevere base. She continues in her regular, calm voice. I give you 2 out of 7 for your efforts but don't feel bad. Very few get more then 4. I also got the felling you enjoyed it so I'm going to assume you're a “home schooled” little creep who like hearing people scream. ... I take that as a yes. Funny how I learned more about you then you about me that session. But then I had professional training. I was best in my class, both at taking and giving. Here, let me give you some education on how to use this thing properly. NOO, wait!! I'll tell you anything! I know you will. But to be honest, I too kind of like this. To be continued.

Thanks! Do I get access to the private PM group? I promise not to be a double agent I'm happy that three MANTIS players already approved of the design. I can still make MANTIS vehicles in the future, for Raven to steal or blow up (but maybe some other guy will join MANTIS soon keep a look out)

Speaking of freebuilds I decided to post one of my own. Over 4 years ago I made two MOCs that had a very MANTIS color to them. I still have them and since I can't use them for weekly builds I thought I would just go ahead and post them as a freebuild. Some old pictures and text from my mocpage. The Manticore I call it the Manticore because it sounds like "Mega Core" as it is meant to look like the 6989 Mega Core Magnetizer. The M-tron set I never had but always wanted as a kid. The name is also fitting as it is an hybrid of several sets, at least it have the steering and suspension from the 8858 Rebel Wrecker, my favorite Technic set. It have room for five minifigs, suspension on all six wheels and 4-wheel steering. The Scorpion (fitting name consider there significance in AG) Not much to say. This was one of my first MOCs as an adult. The idea was to make a threaded vehicle that could drive on all sides.

Oh wow, your stories just get more insane. “Clean up his mess and take care of him” MANTIS following orders to the letter I realy like the way your people (and monsters) talk. And you also manage to make several cool builds too. I read the character profiles. Humbre's was the best, totally made me laugh. And it was nice to read the background to Pombie's MANTIS team.

Nice build! Do you have any more pictures of the speeder and mikro fighter? Now even I start to think you are pushing the consept of spying. Yes, planting listening devises in enemy territory would count but then you would need to show some enemies. (But that green ground is of course the roof of a MANTIS base )

Location: A06 Tags: Exploration (they are “interacting” with a new alien) Touching that "flower" wasn't such a good idea but at least the mission stopped being so boring. Look like the scorpions are larger on this side of the galaxy The idea to this build came from a comment on last weeks build. It's the same transport but I improved the underside as it have a more prominent role in this build. More pictures

We are allowed to redo our last move (redoing both moves is a little unfair because we now have "future information" but initial direction would have been more important with the new rule) If you have time we can discus the target in private. I don't know how gates work (or "domination" for that mater) They are ultimately game mechanics governed by the rules but I think a fleet could jump from a "enemy" territory to another "enemy" territory as long as they had an escape rout adjacent to the destination. I will respect the judges decision and realize how much work there is to create a game like this. Thank you for tolerating very engaged players!

Thank you all for liking it! It was a rather quick build but it doesn't seams to mater how “simple” or “advanced” my builds are. The esthetics that I achieve seams to always get a 4 (or it's a very wide category) All KG personal have extensive training in handling alien plants and animals. It is Octan that should be afraid of anything that look like a scorpion But now you have given me an idea for my next build. Thanks. (and I will be "fixing" the underside for that one )

Thet would have been good to know earlier as our tactics depended on that we could. We might have gone somwhere else instead as there was conflicting opinions and now Comander Turtle is away so we can't even discusse alternative locations (asuming we would even get to change this weeks target) Edit: Follow up questions. Asuming MANTIS take E11 this week and Kawashita send there fleet there, would it just remain on Marden or actualy get there? Weekly builds go before fleet movment. And what happen if all planets around a fleet is taken by others, is the fleet stuck? If it's already on another company's planet when this hapens, is the fleet worped back to the homplanet or a close planet?
