It goes crack! instead of bang! ” And Octan persist with working on paper as well as have there target range painted in company color. I like the stripes (but are they shooting at Kawashita targets?) I wonder if she is one those hybrid characters that pop up (Spacer Pombe, Big Long Sally) Maybe Dr Long and Raven? That would be interesting.

This is so beautiful. The Ophelia have some interesting techniques but the sea floor is fantastic. I especially like the banana bush and Ahsoka fish.

Oh, this is so good! When I saw the picture from orbit with the beem lighting up and the moon in the other window I was just “all according to plan, but wait. It was Sal's plan. It's not going to hit the moon, it's probably going for... Yes it did” Really fun and a great redesign of the original!

I'm defiantly felling the Pombe! Not so mush "inside" the distortion but he still have enough Pombe/meta awareness to know something is wrong. Haven't thought of it but Eshey (even the Octan one) fit so good in MANTIS. And the builds are just great! It doesn't mater if Pombe didn't get points for all those things (he uses the same beefing room and lab too) You made them for the challenge, they should count. Than there is "Big Long Sally"

Location: A06 This is a remake of my build Finaly some action with Raven working for M.A.N.T.I.S. In this alternate timeline Raven's daughter was born earlier and was now old enough to come with her mother to Andromeda as well as have a say at what company they should work for. I couldn't help to include some other of my builds, like the introduction from Arrival and part of the story from More Babysitting but that should not be judged. (I just love this challenge.) Arrival One of the massive colony ships arrives at C03 - Torresta. On board is a military operative only known as “Raven” and her daughter, “Chaos”. They have been hired to make sure M.A.N.T.I.S. dominate Andromeda. Rivaling companies fear that an agent with her reputation will perform espionage and sabotage but M.A.N.T.I.S. ensure they have even more creative use for an agent with her talent. Babysitting The planet Guinevere, a few weeks after their arrival in Andromeda. The battle for gold against Kawashita have settled down and Raven is instead tasked with guarding an exploration team from any remaining Kawashita troopers or dangerous wildlife. Mom. This mission suck. We should be out hunting for remaining Kawa scum. Don’t disrespect your opponents. What? We can kill them but not trash talk them? Exactly. They aren't monsters or idiots, only on another side. Most of them are only following orders, just like us. Sorry Mom. But I still don’t see why our potential should be wasted guarding explorers. After a intense battle they kill the creature and load some bio samples on the transport. It doesn't take long until... Mom! Here is another one! I think Sal need more material to study. Let's take this too, please. Wait! I'm in charge of the security here and I can't risk an accident. Drive the car so we have the sun in our backs, then deploy the MANTIS canon. Yes, Mom! Now we are ready to engage it. I love you Mom. Oh, I love this challenge (have I said that already) Anyway, I think I will use M.A.N.T.I.S. Thanks! The (white / dark red) stripes on the wing was mostly luck (but don't tell anyone) I use 1x1 brick with one side stud to connect the underside of the wing and I couldn't use an even number of bricks in between. Then I saw it was a cool pattern and “colored” them. They even turned out to match the red stripes on the original ship. Good that you approve. You may have tried to do too much (and for a weekly build there is a lot going on) but it only meant I got more things to build. Funny you should mention the pumps. I thought Kawashita wouldn't have any (and I moved the fuel tank to under the turret). I also skipped the picture from that angle as “wall” wouldn't really have added anything. (yes, all the pictures outside the spoiler are mimicked from the reference) Thanks! Cool that you like the “window in lever base” as transparent railings. I used the same technique for screens in some earlier builds. It's funny how small details (railings and stripes) can lift a build so mush.

Pombe havent loged in since december 18 so I dont think he will answer in time. My gess is that he wanted it for w29 (it even have cristmas in the title) and it cant really hurt to put it earlier anyway. Then he just may have time to do something for w30 too

Why are we even keping those redshirts (and where are the new ones comming from) They must have been cheap thou if he's more concerned for the lego model then the redshirt. I really like the Meta humor. Maybe the readshirt tried to break the third wall (as opposed the fourth)

Really good build My first thought was: What's a Kawashita ship doing all the way up here? Then I saw the aliens an figured it was the MC trading with Octan. But then I noticed that green hair and like you said, what's she doing here? And talking to a Zoid? Which isn't as surprising as that they are doing it at an Octan base. Then it turned out it was a Kawashita ship, but the alien isn't from ALIEN. Stolen, maybe? But Octan don't seam to care. Is it a rogue Octan base working with the Zoids and MANTIS? (this is just speculations/paranoya from my part and not questions) At least he will win the “most lintel brought in on one spy mission” award (unless accountant Long have any objections )

And it's way better then ep. MMCMXXXI now when Octan bought it from Disney (and shouldent it be MMCMXXXVII? 2 "I"s) Almost 3000 movies in less then 1800 years? They must have poured them out at some point I thought the MIB was an upside down spider walker but given his film interest it's probably a mechanical face huger for Kawashita mechs It look cool whatever it is.

Location: E11 Tags: Spaceship, Exploration This got a bit long, hope you don't mind too much. Raven is reading up on the company’s progress in Andromeda when she stumble on a curios report. A Kawashita scout ship in E11 was about to investigate what appeared to be a distress signal. They found a damaged Octan ship but when they were about to board it, contact was lost. Octan deny missing any ship in that area. Another Kawashita team have been sent to investigate. Missing ship Cancel the team investigating the missing scout ship, errand number 3816-01-20-24601 A couple of minutes later her assistant hear about it and call her. Ma'am, what are you doing? Canceling a routine mission? You can’t micro manage like this. And how will we know what happened if we don’t investigate? I’m not leaving it unattended, I will investigate myself. Cancel my appointments for today. But we have a team on the way, they will be there before you even reach the hangar. No, because I canceled them. Besides, I was out the hangar an hour ago. You just hapened to be out flying? I needed to clear my head from all this CEO stuff. Besides, I’m one of the best tracker this company have and I need something real to do or I’ll go crazy. Raven soon send the first report. I have taken a look at the signal. It’s very simple and may well be a distress call but the frequencies doesn’t match any standard ever used by humans. In case the standard tracking system was turned off without authorization the backup will send its position after 90 minutes. Later come a second report. Approaching the signals origin now. No sight of the scout ship. Visual contact with the other ship. How they thought it was an Octan ship is beyond me. Other than being white it match none of their design standards and it isn’t like Octan, who put their logo on coffee mugs, to miss the opportunity to put a logo on their ship. I doubt this ship was even made by humans. I read no life signs, heat or movement inside. I will take a closer look while waiting for the backup tracking signal. Raven matches velocity with the alien ship (i.e. park next to it) and exit Adrasteia. The alien ship show heavy damage and was probably in a fight before it got here. She fly over to a big hole in the side of the ship and enter. I have found two aliens. One very dead in some kind of preservation tank which failed long ago and another on the floor, probably dead. Two tanks are empty. Presumably there was a third alien who took off with our missing scout ship. No sign of our scouts. The alien on the floor could have been killed in a fight with them. Continuing to search the ship. Shortly after. Raven to base, no one else on board, human or alien. The aliens either brought our people with them or destroyed them completely. There is no sign of anyone floating around in space nearby. The one on the floor haven’t moved, most likely dead. Send a science team with armed guard to investigate the ship and aliens. I'm getting back to my ship and prepare to pursue our missing ship.

As many have said, It's a very cool "hover truck"? transport vehicle. It look like a cross between a space shuttle, a submarine and a sea turtle (It look cooler than it sounds)

Yes, a nice build and finally (unless MANTIS send a spy) we have dominated all planets on the map. Time for the game masters to unlock the middle section
