Stunning. The forced perspective looks really realistic - I was fooled until I looked closer. Also love the way you've created what looks almost like stained glass windows from the use of trans clear and trans light blue plates on their ends. Looks very cool.

Maybe it's someone disguised as a royal guard? Very cool little vignette!

I'm excited by this lineup (except the Constraction figures and I'm not too worried about the micro fighters, although I'll pick up the Wookie Gunship if it's piloted by a Wookie - got enough Kanan minifigures). But I'd definitely have expected at least a couple of proper Rebels sets. Like most people, I want adult Ahsoka. I don't have any Jedi craft other than Mace Windu's, (although I'll probably pick up 75038) so I can see myself buying most if not all of the other sets, assuming my wallet has recovered from the TFA launch by then (and I'm still to pick up the Tyderium from the current wave).

Interesting, both sets I got (one in Hong Kong, the other in England) have the same pieces as this review. I'd heard that the UK one was different (wasn't worried either way). Nice review, btw, very fair critique of the set. I like the set - I modified one of mine to have a blue speeder bike for Sabine. I know it's not canon, but I liked the end result. Of course I now have 3 Ezras and 3 Sabines (one of each with helmet). One of each might find their way into the background of one of my other creations...

Finally got my Imperial Assault Carrier on Friday. Really enjoyed the build process on that one, even if the model looks a bit dull. At LEGOLAND UK tomorrow and Tuesday, may pick up the odd thing there...

I have a Flash Speeder and a TIE Advanced Prototype (plus ESB poster) waiting for me at my parents' in England (I'm going back there in 2 weeks). Hoping to pick up an Assault Carrier this weekend (I have 10% off ToysRUs HK vouchers). My plan is to get the Tyderium when the RoTJ poster is available at S@H in the UK.

They aren't flash speeders. They're land speeders. The flash speeder is the green Naboo one (7124 and 75091)

This. They were selling for 60% ABOVE retail by December 17th this year in Hong Kong. They still are...

It's on the near display, not the back one - supported on the cool arch on clear bricks. It's just a 75021 Republic Gunship.

These two definitely. I have a large Hoth diorama and a reasonable size Endor one, but both are lacking these key details.

Thanks for the heads up - it's the same in the UK store. Glad you spotted this - I'd assumed it would be the same dates as the US store (22nd-28th June) and would have missed it otherwise. Flash Speeder on its way to my parents' place (no LEGO Shop@Home in HK)

No sets recently (hoping to pick up an Assault Carrier in the next few days) but I've ordered quite a few minifigs from Bricklink along with a load of custom weapons (from CAC, BrickArms and Little Arms Shop)

Don't forget you'll also have to pay customs duty and VAT for anything obtained outside the EU. So add 20-30% on top of those US prices to get them in Europe.

£500 for the lot? That's do-able. I feared worse. Just wish I was still in the UK when they drop, but it's usually cheaper to ship from the UK to here in Hong Kong than to buy them locally...

The new Infiltrator has zero purchase appeal in my mind. No desire for another kid Anakin (brings back horrible memories of Jake Lloyd) and it's not a pretty set. The printed dish piece on the top is kinda cool, but from what I've seen so far, it doesn't have anything else to make me want it. I'll save my pennies for the TFA (and hopefully more Rebels) sets!

I for one am really looking forward to this one. Possibly even more than TFO (am I even allowed to say that)? The PT became too Force-centric compared to the OT. A Star Wars movie without (for the most part) Jedi and Sith? Yes please! And hopefully lots of cool LEGO sets to go alongside it (including updated OT era vehicles)!

Yes, I've bought some Winston and Cyborg heads too... been trying to find some Storm heads for female minifigures (I have some female rebels in my Endor layout and some in my Hoth build), but drawn a blank so far. Ended up going for some non-human faces such as the one from the Lady Liberty collectable minifig for some variety. The light-flesh clones don't worry me too much, as they've got helmets on anyway most of the time. I'm hoping that some of the new Jurassic World sets mean that we'll get a wider variety of skin tones in coming sets though.

There are a distinct lack of non-light-flesh human minifigures in the non-yellow LEGO world. I'd love more accurate looking Rebels figures. Plus just more Rebels characters generally - having only fairly recently come out of my dark ages, it's nice to be able to collect something right from the start :)
