  1. Actually it is accurate! There is one "heavy" stormtrooper on Jakku hunting Finn and Rey who wears a backpack and has a regular blaster. Nevertheless... this give me absolutely no reason to buy anything on May the 4th. What the hell... This makes it even harder to understand why they didn't include Leia in the Assault on Hoth set...
  2. I bought 75138 because of the new Hoth Han. I assumed they wouldn't include the exact same fig in 75098... Thanks LEGO :| I will not recommend this set. And this is coming from someone who really likes the Hoth scenes and the minifigs (snowtroopers and rebels). The value for money is just really bad.
  3. You might want to check the "Licensed parts on Bricks & Pieces" thread on the Licensed forum. You can get a bunch of awesome pieces on B&P. Few of the best ones: the new Endor rebel (torso & legs) for less than €1,50, Endor Han (torso & legs) and complete Final Duel Luke.
  4. I did exactly the same for my officers! Looks so much better in my opinion!
  5. Exactly my thoughts! The set should've focused on the base with the gate. Include a nice detailed interior with control room, medical bay and hangar. Skip the trench (you can use 75138), the snowspeeder, ion cannon, generators and the taun-taun stable.
  6. E. is definitely the Tie Interceptor microfighter.
  7. What the hell?! €280?! That's $310. I've never complained about the pricing, but this is absolutely ridiculous. Slave I = 2000 pieces = retail €200 New Batcave = 2550 pieces = retail €290 Assault on Hoth = 2150 pieces = €280
  8. I've been looking at the set for multiple times in the past few days and I think I'm starting to understand it a bit more. If you wanted to make a detailed set that included most of the important components of Echo base (blast doors, ion cannon, shield generator, trenches, control room) with less than 2200 pieces, it will always look something like this. Even if you left out the snowspeeder, the crane part and the Wampa cave, it would still look rather small. Echo base just consists of too many (separate) big components to properly recreate with 2200 pieces. Yet, I still think they should've made a few small changes that would make the set far more desirable in my opinion: - Include Leia and a version of Chewbacca covered in bits of snow (probably the only reason not to include Hoth Leia is that she'll be in the May 4th polybag) - Include a dark blue jacket Han Solo instead of a previously released Han fig - Include brand new rebel pilot helmet with the transparent visor molded into the helmet (like the Resistance pilot helmets) - Include a brand new (accurate) snowspeeder canopy LEGO will release a new AT-ST with the Rogue One wave.
  9. My Bricks & Pieces order came in so I made a few small updates: - I gave General Veers and the First Order officer Batman's legs to resemble their high leather boots - The Imperial officer received the Batman legs and a reddish brown hair piece, but lost his hat to the Imperial crew from the Battlefront battle pack - The Imerpial crew from the ISD micro-fighter received the black hat from the Imperial crew form the Battlefront pack - I bought a bunch of AT-DP pilot legs for my Snowtroopers to replace their plain leg pieces
  10. I will probably get this set, but wow... That snowspeeder is incredibly unnecessary. They should've used the bricks for more interior.
  11. There's another question: will the rebel pilots in this set have a new double-moulded helmet with transparent visor (just like the resistance troopers)? That would be awesome.
  12. The women inside the base is Toryn Farr (confirmed by LEGO). There's no AT-ST here since there will be one released separately along the Rogue One wave in October.
  13. I'm starting to think there's a serious chance the May the 4th poly is an updated Hoth Leia
  14. Here it is: So it is UCS after all (check the emblem)...
  15. You could be right, but keep in mind Phasma's armor is really shiny too, while the minifig is just a regular metallic. I'm hoping for E-3PO since I try to ignore the PT and TCW as much as I can.
  16. My bet is on E-3PO. A silver protocol droid seen in Cloud City in TESB.
  17. Well actually... I received an e-mail a few hours ago: "Your LEGO Order has Shipped." :P
  18. Haha! Well, that's exactly what I mean! I'm sorry if I keep using the wrong terms, but I always thought the UCS Slave I is "minifigure scale" meaning the size of the minifig represents the size of a human and the vehicles matches that scale. The designer (BrickCommander) mentions the set is in minifig scale in the the LEGO designer vid on YouTube. I thought "system scale" sets are sets that don't really match the actual scale of ship compared to the size of a minifig, but are mostly smaller to make them easier to play with or just to be able to create them in LEGO form (f.e. Imperial Star Destroyer, MF and Tantive IV). Just let me know if I'm wrong ;). Basically what I wanted to say is: I'm really happy with AT-ST rumor but I'm also hoping for a Slave I in the Rogue One wave.
  19. Oh my... A new AT-ST is #1 on my wish-list! #2 on that list is a system-scale Slave I. I'm guessing there's a small chance for such a set since seeing the image from the Toyfair presentation :)
  20. Personally I would actually really dislike it if LEGO would use the battlepacks for those characters/troops. I try to ignore the PT and Clone Wars as much as possible.
  21. I don't hope so! A system-scale Slave I is one of my biggest LEGO wishes, since I missed out on all the previous versions.
  22. Based on that video I'm almost certain Dengar is in the hideous "space Batwing" set.
