  1. I'm looking at the images of Kylo's shuttle in the catalog and I'm confused. There's an image that shows the motion possibilities of the wings, but there are also two arrows that point outwards. Will this mean the wings DO fold out?
  2. I made some minor changes to a few of my minifigs today: - Changed Bib Fortuna's regular cape for the graduate's robe. I think the robe looks a lot more like Bib's robes in the movie than the regular cape. - Changed the hair of my Han Solo minifigs to the reddish brown tousled hair piece. Nothing big, but for anyone wondering what it looks like:
  3. And! Our main bad guy wears a mask below his mask!
  4. So it's confirmed... The bad guy's ship's wings don't tilt like we've seen in the trailer. However, I still really like the design and I'm definitely going to get this set.
  5. I'm pretty sure that's what LEGO did. Did you notice there's a black hood next to Kylo on "out of the box" image? I don't think the minifig head below the helmet is a "human" one, but his mask printed on a black minifig head. This gives you the choice to use a hooded version of Kylo (like in all promo images) or a version with the helmet and no hood.
  6. Actually, the 2007 UCS Falcon was the fourth Falcon ever released in LEGO form (2 set size, 1 mini). Besides that, it is completely logical LEGO releases a set sized Falcon right before the movie instead of a UCS one as LEGO is a company that mainly sells toys for kids.
  7. Yeah, I think there was some confusion there. I'm guessing Rayskull thought I was talking about the vertical extension showed on the box, not about the "tilted outward" function. However, if LEGO managed to make the wings to both extend and tilt outward, I'll be very impressed by the design.
  8. Yeah, they are! You can see a small part of the diagonal engines on te back of the transporters in the leaked LEGO images. I was thinking about that too. I'm just not sure how LEGO would've managed to create this function. However, on the "out of the box" image you can see 1 or 2 black 1x4 black slider bricks where the wings connect to the "cockpit". Could be nothing, but it could also be part of the mechanism to lower the wings. I'm really looking forward to all the features of the shuttle, especially the entry-hatch on the bottom, the interior and the wing mechanism. I think the craft looks bad *ss. The only think I don't like about the set: the First Order crew. The extremely plain printing makes them look like 1999 SW minifigs.
  9. Buying: - The MF: I don't own the previous version and this one looks awesome - Kylo Ren's shuttle: I seem to be one of the few on this forum who likes the design of the craft and I can't wait to see the interior Not sure yet: - FO Transporter: This is a hard one... Stormtroopers and Flametroopers are too good. However, I'm not too excited about the transport itself and the Resistance troopers are a bit generic. I think it's a pretty cool wave, but I have just one complaint: the First Order Crew minifig... The helmet mould looks fine, but the rest is absolutely boring and plain.
  10. NEWS! Guess I was right about the Snowspeeder! https://twitter.com/bravoINTEL/status/632253612593250305 Credits to Ashnflash!
  11. That would make sense, but then again... we already got a snowspeeder in the same wave as the AT-AT. Why release another one in a few months while the current one is still on the shelves and doesn't need a redesign. I'm just hoping the big Echo Base set doesn't include a snowspeeder. That would be a waste of parts knowing there will be one released separately.
  12. Haha! Yeah, guess I was still a bit hopeful when writing that post. It will probably be like an XL battle pack then.
  13. I'm was hoping the "Hoth Attack" set would include a redesigned AT-ST but that seems almost impossible with a €30 set right?
  14. I left my "dark ages" about a year ago and have once again started collecting OT Lego Star Wars. I noticed I've missed out on a few awesome minifigs released between 2001 and 2013, but BrickLink seems to be the solution to that problem. Just purchased the Boushh and Bib Fortuna minifigs from the Jabba's Palace set. Can't wait to add them to my collection!
  15. It's reddish brown in one of the three Dimensions Ghostbusters Level Packs that were announced today. That hairpiece and face combined with the torso/legs of the 2015 Naboo Fighter Pilot would make a great Ric Olie!
  16. Ok guys... Who says the Echo Base is going to be part of the UCS? The Ewok Village wasn't even part of the UCS (not listed by LEGO as UCS and didn't have the UCS-logo on the box). It's just a large Star Wars set.
  17. I absolutely can't wait for the Kylo Ren minifig, but I'm curious to see what kind of headpiece he will get. I'm guessing their could be 3 options: 1. The standard hood: just a standard black hood with the mask printed on the minifig head. This is my least favorite option. 2. A new mould combining the mask and the hood: this would be my favorite option! It would look something like Antimatter's headpiece (image) And there's a third option... Can't wait! Totally off-topic: Wow... I had an action figure of the character in your avatar when I was a kid (bought it at a flea market). I had no clue what the name of this character was, until just now. It's the first time in 15 year I've seen him/her. Would be awesome to get this Phantasm as a minifig!
  18. The minifig on the left... That helmet is ridiculous. Haha! Pretty bad printing too. I would be surprised if this was the final version. Rey looks absolutely great!
  19. I honestly suspect that the First Order Snowspeeder will be a land speeder like Luke's/Naboo flash speeder/Mandalorian speeder to transport FO troops on the snow planet as it seems there won't be pilots in the new snowspeeder set. Just 2 snowtroopers and 1 snowtrooper officer.
  20. The First Order Snowspeeder is still a big mystery. According to the product description on the Spanish version of Amazon (posted by Hoth Bricks) the set will include 2 snowtroopers and 1 snowtrooper officer. So assuming the new FO snowspeeder is similar to the T-47 or McQuarrie's concept of T-47... then who's going to fly the speeder? Are the troopers the pilots for this speeder? Could it be that this First Order Snowspeeder is more like a Naboo flash speeder/Luke's landspeeder/Mandalorian speeder used for transporting First Order troops on a snow planet? What do you guys think?
  21. The 2X3 slopes on the back of the Snowspeeder's wing are orange too (dark grey on the 2014 snowspeeder). I'm sure hoping there won't be a new snowspeeder in the new Echo Base set...
  22. Oh lord... We could get another (redesigned) snowspeeder with this set. Thought I noticed some orange details on the back and I've just paused the video at the right time. The flaps on the wings connect to orange "1X2 plates with sticks". Those plates are dark grey in the 2014 version... That's the only difference I can find for now.
  23. Wow! The Echo Base sure looks promising! Few small things I noticed: - New Luke (Hoth version) in the Wampa cave, the printing is different from the 2010 version - Not sure about Han, I'm hoping he's included in the set or I'll have to get last year's polybag - Happy to see the printing on the Snowtroopers is the same as the 2014 version (only difference seems to be a metallic silver backpack) - We've only seen one corner of the interior, hoping the other one has the Bacta tank For now just two minor cons for me: - Releasing this set so close to the TFA sets is the worst timing for me, my wallet isn't going to like this - I was hoping this set would include a redesigned AT-ST (last version was released in 2010 or 2011)
