It's getting more and more obvious TLG is trying to get rid of minifigs they've produced too many of in the past. Ep. IV Luke Skywalker: in 5 sets since 2014 Ep. IV Obi Wan: in 3 sets since 2014 Final Duel Luke Skywalker: in 3 sets since June 2015 and parts available on B&P Han Solo in white shirt: 2015, 2016, 2017 I'm a huge fan of the RO sets, but did we really need another landspeeder (with no new figs) and a new skiff (with 2 figs from the Carbon Freeze Chamber)? This is the second year that the OT sets in the January wave are quite disappointing. Yoda's hut would've been a far better option. Still hoping this Lando sets exists.

I didn't like the T-70's at all and I would be happy if they released a new version of Luke's X-wing with the new canopy. I missed out on the last version, still in my dark ages. There's one thing they should add in a new T-65 set: double-moulded OT Rebel pilot helmet. White helmet + trans orange visor (just like the Resistance helmets, which I absolutely love).

Hehe. Why? R2 was basically tossed on the back of the speeder in the movie, while 3PO was akwardly sitting on the back. It's a 2-person speeder. No seating needed for the droids.

Interior is a little cramped and it can only hold one fig, which is ok I guess.

Do you guys think all LEGO Stores will have the sets on september 30th? I'm planning to make the trip from Amsterdam to Oberhausen in Germany (2,5 hour drive) to buy the complete wave.

I'm really impressed by some of the techniques used for these sets. Check out the firing mechanism for the U-wing. The spring-loaded shooters are fired by pressing the 2x1 tiles in front of the canopy.

I'm really intrigued by the U-wing set. The top side looks splendid, but I'm really curious to have a good look at the bottom compartment. As we can see in the trailer, the bottom is really sleek and the side "doors" are closed. However, the LEGO model doesn't seem to look so sleek from the side (see image below) and the 4x4 wedge plate seems to be placed the wrong way. Looks odd. I'm really hoping the LEGO model has sliding doors to close the bottom compartment, but I really doubt it. What do you guys think?

I definitely wouldn't mind a new T65. Skipped both TFA X-wings and I missed out on the 2012 version (still in my dark ages) and I'd like to see a new version in white with the new canopy.
