Brickset has bricklists, as they are called, that include a list of sets that a specific designer designed. I don't think every designer has one and many designers do not update their lists, but there are some that do and they include some fun behind the scenes notes on each set occasionally. I wish more designers would do it, it really is cool to peak behind the curtain sometimes.

I wonder how that rumor started. Firestar has red hair and a yellow suit, not to mention there is literal fire under her in the pics we saw. Meanwhile Jessica Drew has black hair and wears a red and yellow costume and doesn’t shoot fire at all.

Like I said, mostly in recent years. Probably the reason we don’t have a Symbiote Spidey in a retail set, etc. Showing up in a show or movie ensures that the character is well known amongst consumers. Btw I have no proof of any of this I’m just trying to rationalize why Lego makes certain choices and includes certain characters when and where they do

I feel like Lego usually waits for a character to appear in a movie before making a figure of him/her. Then afterwards comes the comic version of him/her once the character is more well known. Ofc its not 100% true all the time but mostly I feel.

This is the first UCS type of set that I looked at and felt like I could make myself. It looks like someone’s generic MOC. Even the Daily Bugle sign on top is the most basic lettering possible. No SNOT techniques or anything. Oh well. Figures are great. Could have been a good opportunity to improve some figs and give us a Spider-Gwen with hood printing since even the Duplo figure has it. But whatever. Easter eggs are cool. Gotta love stickers and references to figures that will likely not come to pass for another 5 years if ever instead of the actual figures themselves. Might have to Bricklink some of the figs I want.

Exactly. Daredevil looks like everything I wanted and more. Its honestly perfect. (I was hoping they’d give him the red 3-long rods instead of the white ones and thankfully they did)

I imagine its because older fans will be more familiar with Firestar since the cartoon is older. Also, ik someone else asked this but if we are getting Firestar that must mean that Iceman is there too? Or at least he isn’t far behind right?

Didn't we see this Captain Marvel leak a while ago and we were told it was fake? Or am I misremembering? Yo my man, I clicked on your Flickr and my god those Punishers are sick as hell. I didn't know if the flesh arms or dual molded legs would look good paired with the white belt honestly, but my gosh does every variant look amazing. Any chance you have a pic with Superboy's short sleeve arms (half black, half flesh)?

Brickset’s Instagram has the best quality ones imo. I don’t see Star Lord clearly either though except for his Superman hair curl and his torso

Compound has a sticker of the Mobius Strip Tony runs a projection of in his cottage to invent time travel! Very cool. Same with the X-Cons logo with the lock on it

I like the look of Thanos and how the studs allow us to pose characters to look like they’re fighting him, but you hit the nail on the head on why the face looks so odd. The mouth is also open and a bit too big so the chin starts looking more like Thanos is growing a small beard. Idk if any of you guys watch the NBA but this new big fig looks just like Zion Williamson. That’s just the box for the extra studs that he shoots off from his right arm.

Lego's smart how they get you to buy this new compound set but also still also make you buy the Helicopter Drop set if you want the Gauntlet + 4 gems and then the original bad compound on top of that if you want the 2 other gems and some armored arms for Thanos

Man looking at that Thanos mold again makes me realize how many possibilities there are for future big figs. Now that the bodies are more or less standard and heads are swappable we can have figures like Kingpin and Rhino. All they’d need are different molded or printed heads

So did the dude who took these photos build the sets yet? Bc we could use another wave of potato quality pics right about now.

If it makes you feel better I’m in America and noticed the Black Widow set was up online during an appointment where I didn’t have my card with me, and when I got home it was sold out.

I think those are the holograms that Black Widow was talking to in Endgame. Looks like Captain Marvel (with the new haircut) and Rocket (who made fun of her new haircut). If you zoom in to the second floor of the compound you can see them more clearly. Compound build itself looks awesome btw. And nice to see the Panther set build isn't tan and gold as someone mentioned before. I'm sold on the Iron Monger set because of Iron Man, but I'm not so sure Iron Monger is to great as I don't think shoulder pieces work too well for faces.

Same here, and I sometimes take that flat 1x1 tile off and replace it with a 1x1 trans blue stud with a hole in it + Ulysses Klaw's lightning piece. You can kind of see it below. Sorry about the tiny picture, weird angle, and blurriness.

Didn’f falconfan say in an Instagram comment a while back that it looks like the Black Widow is a repeat? I have a feeling that the Advent Calendars another way to get rid of excess Square Enix figs with only a few exclusives (which I’m fine with because I’d love a cheap way to get some of them like Captain Marvel)

I found a pic of a small MOC I built a few years back of the AoU intro scene. I made a HYDRA soldier using one of the First Order Storm Trooper torso and legs, a generic head, and the CMF painter's hat. Maybe this new 4+ fig will look better with the hat and some leg printing?

Wow that torso looks spectacular on the fig. Best Wanda ever (hopefully till the CMF comes out)
