Activision have announced there will be no Skylanders game in 2017. So while it's not "cancelled" there's nothing to say there'll be one in 2018 either.

I recommend UK players pre-order from Amazon France. I did that this morning for the Story Pack and Harry Potter Team Pack and it came to < £54 inc delivery. I'll be surprised if any UK seller beats that price.

I love that Lego games are being made by people who are my age and grew up on this stuff.

My thinking on that, is that they now have to balance many more franchises and as you say, that includes phase 1, so perhaps they need to spread them out over more phases now. So Harry and Voldemort for example, might be all we get in Phase 2, but Ron and Hermione may then follow in Phase 3 (along with even more franchises). lol, they should totally have called it that darling

You'd be very surprised how many people would love to own a Lego A-Team Van, even a miniature one. I count myself among that number and a lot of Dimensions development is driven by people of my age who grew up on properties like this. Just like with Back to the Future, this is the kind of set that broadens the appeal of the game and encourages parents to play with their kids. It's smart. If A-Team were to happen, Knight Rider would be right there with it. I won't be at all surprised if it turns out to be Adventure Time though.
