Excellent idea! Especially the first pic was really immersive! -

Awesomest addition to the game EVER! For story purposes, I guess our friends, the Sea Rats (and other semi-pirating players) can use the fully built Barracuda Bay establishment lorewise for a meeting or two (not counting as MOC ofc). After all, it DOES have an Inn. Because, you know, It is always a joy to see it pop up here and there -
Kings Port Advertiser and Ship List (Vol 5, Issue 2)
blackdeathgr replied to Capt Wolf's topic in Brethren of the Brick Seas
Once again a pure delight for our readers and the inclusion of Barracuda Bay as Pirate hideout is genius! Keep up the great work guys!!! Now off to check how many ships I have left... The sea is both a giver and a taker i guess... -
[COR] New Lands for Corrington
blackdeathgr replied to LM71Blackbird's topic in Brethren of the Brick Seas
You do realise that leaving dynamite on a boat spells doom for everybody around, due to the spashing of the waves, right? Failed mission on its wayyyyyy Although I would like a bit more detail at the ground, it is a nice landing nevertheless!- 10 replies

And my meager contribution to the BoBS ship community First ship in BoBS (and in general) back in early 2016, Little Hermes (type unspecified) with a fatal ommision: She has no jib... . At least she made me "rich" at MRCA for many rounds. "Last/latest" ship again back in late 2016 after hearing constructive criticism and having seen tons of great ships from our BoBS community), sloop Crete, flying the Eltina flag (and three jibs to compensate for the first ship!) Still need improvement though.

José's Inn - Ye Olde BoBS Drinking Hole
blackdeathgr replied to Darnok's topic in Brethren of the Brick Seas
Hideaway I guess. It's way more elaborate imo. Not that the ship is bad though, on the contrary! Ah, the tough choices of life...! -

Epicness both in build and story! I loved them both! Especially effective the round building and the skeleton pit! -
[COR - CHIII - CAT B] The Glittering Caverns
blackdeathgr replied to LM71Blackbird's topic in Brethren of the Brick Seas
Nice jungle build. Plenty enough vegetation, cave well built and crystals are many. I would try to photograph them with a light somewhere inside so as to see the effects of the light at those crystals. I believe that would look cool. My only remarks are the background (I never really liked baseplates posing as background) and the black plates used at the sides, as black detracts imo from the earthly tones of your MOC.- 4 replies

[SR ChIIICatB] Oleonda's First Stable
blackdeathgr replied to Fraunces's topic in Brethren of the Brick Seas
Big and ambitious build (a huge plus its the interior). I like it! Family members are distinct enough and well shaped, LEGO animals looking good (on the other hand LEGO animals always look good ) and photos are aplenty. P.S: Someone got the Baracuda? Couldn't help but noticing the pig! Hehehe! -
[GoC - COR] Cocovian Watchtower
blackdeathgr replied to Sir Kingston's topic in Brethren of the Brick Seas
Nice story, nice tower (which I like that it has interior decorations as well) and my only remarks are regarding the ship where as LM said, I believe skipping the plates at the bow and providing her with a sail or two (even paper ones) will totally enhance her looks. -
[OL - CH3B] - Burning lake
blackdeathgr replied to blackdeathgr's topic in Brethren of the Brick Seas
Thanks both guys! Well, Fal, there is one monkey in the build but I guess you are right. This monkey mold is just a handbag for Tarzan Jungle Boy. Let the REAL monkeys take over! You know, the old and reddish brown ones that can handle a gun or a sword! -

Mind that we want that vitriolic humour back! -
Civilian builds are always nice to watch and yours is a rare treat. Great details (stove etc). I also like the first vignette with the soldiers. The most interesting part I must say is written at the end of the post: "Republique du Peuple" you say? Hm, I am sensing a Vive l' Etat vibe rather than a Vive le Roi, one. Maybe they should get a visit from the Internal Affairs Dpt... ...or not! I mean, after all, somewhere in the distant future, there must be a change of regime from a royal to a "not-so-republic"(insert imperial) government but plans for a similar insurrection were thwarted some years ago...

Enjoy building Captain! I am really against boasting when buying sets but this very set is definitely an exception for each one of us here!!! Mine is on backorder until the 27th of April. I believe the box stays in quarantine for 14 days since it is traveling from abroad -

Another small gem! I think I like this one more. The water for once, is a big upgrade. By the way did you use mixels for the semi demolished effect or another technique? Also give us some hints on the trees structure if you can, please! -
[OL-FB] Lighthouse of Fort Altrees
blackdeathgr replied to Bodi's topic in Brethren of the Brick Seas
Nice lighthouse! This technique for round edifices is always a nice thing to see and the sloped wall is a great addition too. Also it's good we aren't talking about squatters rather than settlers -
