Maybe you just left some pieces out Mine strides across the floor, crushing it's enemies, guns blazing and... ok it doesn't! You do need a little leap of the imagination 4483 is a more accurate set though a bit flimsy - only 'coz I've had to move it a couple of times and the damn heads fallen off every time! I reckon LEGO could pull out all the stops on this next one. And three turrets of sorts too! Really, really don't need another. Not when they'd be so easy to MOC too basing one on an official version. Aye I'd suggested that ADHO, a cockpit with room for 3 would be awesome for starters (not for you I guess!)

Complete Gallery with Every Star Wars Minifig?
pedro replied to thespurs200708's topic in LEGO Star Wars
There's also a comprehensive list available on Bricklink, though the images aren't as good as ours. Welcome to Eurobricks James. Why don't you head over to the Hello! My name is... forum and formally introduce yourself? -
Great effect and so easily achieved too - nice one Z Zadar! Strong lighting like this adds so much to a scene; I've used an Exo-force light brick to light a fireplace in one of my MOC before, but it wasn't nearly as intense as this. In future I'll probably try this out. Thanks for sharing your technique

Some excellent photography yet again Fenris! The first shot is definately my favourite, the lighting you've created from the little fire is superb - the fire itself really suits the scene too. Keep up the good work

Awesome review Ben, thanks for investing so much time into it! Your shots are great and really provide a great picturte of the set and all it entails. I think my feelings about this set are probably well known by now... it's right up there on my wanted list. It's an almost perfect mix of high detail with minifig capacity. I love it! It may not have The Corridor, it would have needed to be much bigger for that, but the interiors are nice enough - better than the Republic Cruisers which I ended up modifying. Judging by the exclusive tag it has on Shop@home, I think it's an exclusive
-
Nice little MOD Mr. Penguin, 2 studs makes all the difference! Haven't got this set yet though I love the design of this tank; I'll most likely modify it during construction when I do get round to owning it. Thanks for the share Oh! And love that army of yours... very formidable!

My guess is they'd pull out all the stops on another version. Big UCS AT-AT - bigger, better, badder. Cockpit for 2 AT-AT pilots and Veers... super detailed, proper troop bay with a good compliment of snowtroopers. Wouldn't that be awesome?! And of course the token Luke hanging from a string There's always room for improvement! I was a little undecided about the motorised one initially based on proportion issues but decided to buy it anyway... and wasn't disappointed. It is actually very, very cool, detailed and much sturdier than the original too. Just about everyone I know who's seen it in action thinks it's ace... "It actually walks I tell ya's!!!"
-
Cute! Nice reference to The Green-Cross-Code Man too I'd worry about young Anakin standing close to that lil' Tusken lad so near a road though - we know how much he dislikes 'em - never know what he might do!
-
Woah, it's the antithesis of my battle pack! Nice work Rook - Lukes got his work cut out for him! I especially love your speeder bike, simple but extremely striking - I may have to build my own version of that as my current custom Sith lord doesn't have a ride at the moment Your sith minifigs are really creative and I like the lethal array of weapons they're armed with. Nice touch adding your other 'sets' onto the box art too. But who is the mysterious figure behind the skull mask? Lukes... hairstylist?! "No! That's not true! That's impossible! Nooooo!" ...or Dark Grey Boxes of the Sith! Best of luck in the contest Rook.

From all accounts the pod-racing minifigs are disliked by the majority of LEGO fans! Saying that, gasgano's head works very well for a Kaminoan in my opinion - some small conselation there

Obviously you had a reason, but isn't it better to be open about it to avoid confusion from other members?

Many thanks for the further comments everyone! Indeed, 'tis a custom of sorts, created in photoshop. I see your point Oky Wan, the Jedi do tend to be given assignments as singles or pairs; however it's not uncommon to see several working together. Then there are desparate times where we see an entire army of them such as at Geonosis; or when they were forced to defend the Jedi Temple after Order 66. Still, glad you like it!

Great battle pack Darth Pineapple, it's got lots of charm and some really nice touches like the campfire and drumkit. It'd be cool (and an easy change) to see an extra stormie helmet on there by swapping out a part from somewhere else, just to flesh out the drumkit that bit more as it's a focus of the set. Newer Ewoks might be cool as has been said, but it still stands well just using the older ones - which I still rather like!

I always really like the pure fun element of your creations Dewback! R2 zapping the chariot pullers onwards, the group of them going to work on the R5 (the accessories are great); good stuff! Good luck with your entry.

After reading Mos Eisley's "If you could revive one production year's sets..." topic, I headed over to Brickset to find which year had been my golden year for LEGO Star Wars with a mind to write a reply; but on returning I found the thread locked and I'm not all together sure why. Stash, the only comment you supplied was: The topic seemed perfectly resonable to me, I was wondering if you could elaborate a little more on why it was closed? Cheers.

Nice work Artizan! I agree Episode I could do with some extra love (desite being less popular) and this battle pack would be superb for starters. I especially like your speeder; creating a battle pack version of the Gian speeder was a great idea, it looks cool and really accurate despite slight scale difference. I like the Gungan Atlatl too - nice use for a flick-fire Best o' luck in the contest!

By all accounts I'm glad I missed that ship I didn't get this set for those very reasons. I've no idea what convinced the designers to use such bizarre colours for the tank droid! The new versions are much, much better (I had an old pre-TLC dwarf spider droid MOC that I preferred too).

Many thanks for the great comments everyone, it means a lot. I think an official Jedi battle pack would get a big thumbs up from us all! The torso is a combination the Kit Fisto minifig torso with dark bley arms. The arms suit the dark bley of the under-tunic, and in the spirit of the set it allows the Mon Cal head to be used with this torso without the brown of his hands blending into the arms. Me too! As I mentioned above this started out as a DC0052 'intergalactic' speeder, but although the parts count was low a couple of the pieces I used could easily have been considered too large - and I didn't want to chance it. So I tinkered and tweaked - at one point it had a fully enclosed cockpit - and after a couple of revisions this was the end result... and highly swooshable it is too!

Great entry Mos, Who wouldn't like a Jawa pack? Add me to the list! I never bought 10144 so missed my chance to get some Jawas (bricklink prices are a wee bit steep too). A pack like this would be great. I like the idea of your model, but I reckon it would be really, really cool if all the parts - engines, windscreen, dunes - could be rebuilt into a speeder! It'd add that extra dimension to your battle pack too. Actually you might be right there! I never thought I'd use a megaphone over a blaster, but in the case of Jawas it suits the flared end to their stun rifles. Good luck with your entry Mos!

Good work jansued! I like your boarding craft - very original - it has a heavy, no-nonsense kind of look to it. I really like the concept of Stormtrooper squad wearing laser-reflective armour for boarding operations; they also remind me of the Glitter Boys from Rifts RPG a wee bit Good luck in the contest!
-
Nice work AoNZ! This looks like a nice well-rounded battle pack for anyone expanding their clone army further. You could imagine divisions of these green marked clones lined up for battle on Kashyyyk soil! Your catamaran looks cool too, like hybrid between wookiee and republic technology. Good luck in the contest!

Not really historical unless you count a long time ago in a galaxy far, far away... but definately qualifies as an alternate use as a helmet for my Klaatu minifig.

Hey, Here's my entry for the battlepack contest: Jedi Mission! I don't think there's anyone who doesn't like Jedi (Sith excepted) and seeing an army of them i.e. Battle of Geonosis, is awe inspiring! I've seen Jedi battle packs in other toy-lines and thought "wouldn't it be just sweet if LEGO made one?". Failing that, wouldn't it be just fine if I made one?! Jedi Mission From peacekeepers to soldiers, the Jedi are the guardians of peace and justice in the galaxy. The swift Jedi Speeder is ready for action with flick-fire missiles and storage compartment. Meanwhile the Jedi Youngling practices using a Training Remote. Use the force! Create and customise your own Jedi army! Set name: Jedi Mission Set number: 2009 Theme: Star Wars Release Date: 2009 Price: I made this! Pieces: 61 (Speeder - 48, Accessories - 13) Minifigs: 4 Resources: Brickshelf Box Front Box Back Minifigs The minifigs' parts can be switched to create many combinations of Jedi. Originally I had 3 humans, but I thought 2 would keep these Jedi more diverse. Besides that I thought it'd be cool to have a Rodian and Mon Cal Jedi! I thought it'd be interesting to create a Youngling too with a Training Remote accessory. There's a black hair piece included in the 'set' which I haven't pictured here. Jedi Speeder Front Originally started out as a DC0052 and ended up as this! Jedi Speeder Back Wing and engine detail. This came out a wee bit grainy so I'll probably retake it. So there you have it! This is what one of my ideal battle packs would be. It's pretty much checklist of lots of things I think are cool! Hope you like it. Click here or the resources link above to see several more pictures of the battle pack in my Brickshelf folder. Good luck to everyone taking part in the contest!

I think it's actually a child in there. Maybe his Mum has way to much time... more likely she's just really nice Now if I can just get her to make me a 6'3" version all the girls would find me irresistible.

Great review ADHO! I was pleased to pick this up; I don't own the AT-TE (yet) so didn't have any of these Clone Wars style STAPs. They're well built, look great and have some really useful parts. Got a few of 'em now One thing I'm forever doing now though is adding 1x2 tan plates to battle droids for backpacks... it really adds to the figure! Just wish LEGO would keep including them...
