looks good, if I could make one suggestion .... maybe move the front mast forward 2 or 3 studs.

CaptTree where do you get your figures on the demand for these items? "I" would think that these small third party companies run very low profit margins and there for must be careful about the production of a new element for many reasons. Modern weapons are popular because TLG don't really cover them but Pirates have been armed from day one. Perhaps just wait and see....... "a watched kettle never boils". PS. I'm a huge pirate fan and I'm not going to replace all my weapons and having one or two odd rifles seems a bit wierd to me......That said yes the flintlock looks great.

While waiting for more bricks to complete the gun deck ect. I've been friggin' in the riggin' as there was not much else to do. It's getting alot closer to finnished ( still need to cut new sails ) As you can see Blocksworth's trusted crew are still rigging her up and stocking the stores. Comments always welcome.
-
Is this a better position for the spanker sail? ( I haven't cut a sail yet in-case it's not right yet)
-
Cheers, only 4 mid sections, next one will be longer so I can widen the top deck more and fit more stuff on it/ in it, but you won't see that project for a while.
-
still needs a lot of work but here's a sneak peek. Not really happy with the sails yet and hours of rigging to come. comment welcome as usual.

attention to detail is .... off it's head, and thats why your the man I may have a man crush on you.... but not in a gay way.

Here's a little update, tile arrangement may change when I have some more 1x6 and 1x2 tiles to stagger the boards. and the Captain taking a well deserved break.( this hammock design may appear on the gun deck between the cannons)Made from capes it will hold the weight of a fig.

They are from different moulds hence the different numbers on the elements.
-
So many wrong things to take from that statement..... but I'll bite my lip this time.

Captain Blocksworth: The man for any occasion. hope that makes it easier
-
both my BSB and CC (both original release with firing cannons) have the 02 type rigging but my forbidden Island has the 01 type short ones..... I'd never noticed before, that's why they bow so much ....... my rigging's all custom now anyway. My instructions were normal (bought in Australia Xmas in 1989, go mum and dad!)

Captain Blocksworth (bluecoat priviteer, swashbuckler, ladies man and all round nice guy) would like to attend......is it a formal dinner ? if so his old blue coat unifrom will need an ironing, otherwise / due to limited numbers Brown tricorne or new type brown hair short (not Han Solo type) CMF cowboy head and torso Han Solo legs/ or plain brown and his little bag of tricks (indy bag) for eats I will bring "me hearty stew" (pun intended) Captn Blocksworth has been known to carry a pistol about his person at the strangest of times.....just ask the ladies!
-
Yeah Captn Zuloo pointed that out too. My bad need to brush up on my sailing ship terminoligy. As far as Tiles go the gun deck will be completly tiled, but I'm not sure about the main deck, we'll see.... those three stud sections will suck for running the tiles the right way though. more like this??
-
changing batteries would be fun unless you had a purpose built ship and plumbing it all in could get super messy but that said I'd love to see it done...... just worry about melted LEGO hahah
-
Cheers all for comments many of which have been taken on-board ( pun intended ) so here's a little update. and a clue (well a give away really) to who's ship it is. first my bell. head rails adjusted. now stepped not sloped. Landing craft. cargo hole. capstan ( not working yet ) I know the layout is not conventional but hey it's a MOC.....
-
The missing bricks are on their way just one of those mistakes that sometimes happen. The stair case is made from 1x4 plates with a black and brown jumpers on top, then stacked and fanned..... if that makes sence. can be done with 1x3 plate with a stud and jumper for tighter fits. the figure head is from "Fluffy" from HP forbidden corridor set.
-
Here's where I'm at with my ship build, full story when complete so please don't ask too many questions. still needs tweaking here and there. and inside..... would be a lot closer to complete but one of my BL orders was missing 50 pieces so I have to wait a little longer, but coming along nicely. ( IMO ) comments welcome as always.

Pirate?.... that's blasphamy he's a Blue coat marine, one of France's finest! the balaclava just looks cool. I'm sure there's a Blue coat sig-fig on here that looks the same and I thought it looked the part so cheers to the member who invented that character
