Eh, I have very mixed feelings about this, I would love to see the things left out from the movies on screen, like Peeves and Winky, but I don't want to see them without Alan Rickman, Robbie Coltrane, Maggie Smith, Tom Felton, Emma, Rupert, Daniel... you get the point. Not to mention I absolutely hate many of the characters in the book. When I say I love Snape I mean Alan Rickman's Snape. I can't even stand the Golden Trio in the books at times, they can be rather rude and unlikable. Not to mention there are probably quite a few parts in the books that wouldn't be able to carry entire episodes, as books and series/movies are 2 completely different mediums, meaning they would have to come up with and add in new stuff to keep the audience engaged. Which is probably even worse than leaving out stuff. I mean I like the parts with the dursleys, but I wouldn't want them to drag it out to multiple episodes, especially if they were to release it on a weekly basis. At least they appear to be keeping the music somewhat the same this time around, (if the reveal was anything to go by.) I really wasn't a fan of the score they used for the Cursed Child play. If Lego would ever shift focus from the movies to the show I would only pick up a Peeves and a Winky set for example, just the characters missing from the movie sets really. I don't need myself a short haired Lucius, or a blonde Petunia. Luckily after this year, Lego is slowly finishing the missing gaps, I just hope they won't wait too long with the last few missing pieces, and just give them to us right away in the next 2 years, as after that, chances are getting smaller of them being able to finish the thing.

My throwaway speculation from last month is starting to look more and more like it might become reality, yikes. I'm really having mixed feelings about this. On one hand is Batman Returns my favourite Batman movie, and the figures that could be included are long desired ones, on the other hand this might not be the set we wanted them to appear in, nor does it bode well for the minifigure count, of which I was sceptical anyway. I also feel like the leaks we've gotten for the figures are rather meh. Penguin's printing is good, but he needed a new hair/hat combo. Then there's Batman, the new batcowl looks interesting, but isn't as good as the previous keaton one we've gotten (playability asside.) Vehicle wise it will probably be very bare-bones, although then again that might be a good thing as now they can fully focus on the cave itself. However speaking of the cave itself, I do like the look of the Keaton Cave, but it's way more simple, and rather empty than the comic versions for example. Ofcourse if it's big enough that might leave plenty of room to put in some of our own modifications, like a T-Rex, something that wasn't really that easy to do before. I really can't tell how I will end up liking this set. I'll have to see the entire thing. It can go both ways honestly. This really is Schrödinger's Batcave imo xD.

Wow, this is pretty much my dream Jurrasic Park wave. The first time I'm actually interested in all the sets. The only thing that would've made this wave even better would be to include the gate and the toilet somewhere.

Yeah, that's insane, I'm definitely not going to buy the lost tomb at that price point. Guess I won't be getting the "entire" wave after all, unless it gets a massive discount. Maybe they needed to compensate now that they lost the biggest regular set? As I've never seen such a drastic price increase from lego themselves. Or at least I hope that's the case, as otherwise it doesn't bode well for things to come for lego in general.

I think you'll have better luck with that one in a minecraft set. But all kidding aside, I feel like the creeper is a bit unrealistic, even though I could definitely see them make him using the fur piece in red. That being set, I think a Jack Ryder easter egg could totally happen on the batcomputer or something.

True, but it's just the outside, for all we know it goes down in the actual interior, somewhat similar to what 70912 did, or even the lobby/help desk in 10937. Plus this is most likely an unfinished product. If you look at the toy fair images of 75954 it also has a far bigger foundation than in the final product.

Just a design choice, there are a set of stairs to the front door so it makes sense the house is a bit elevated. It's just the foundation of the house.

I'm not sure if we should dismiss it this quickly. I've seen quite a few custom Moon Knights, but non of them had a piece that looked exactly like this one, (arguably I think the fake ones look better.) Not to mention the instagram user claims he is going off his memory, he might have remembered it wrong. Couldn't it just be him having seen a custom figure holding 2 golden fang/tooth/claw/horn pieces? Since that's the closest thing I've seen to this "leaked" piece. Is it though? It might be for regular cmf series, but keep in mind this is the first one in boxes rather than blindbags, so we might not be able the rely on how it went in the past. Besides even back then it happened that figures leaked way sooner than usual. Harry Potter cmf series 1 Voldemort and Nagini jump to mind.

Ooooh, I actually like the hat/hair combo pretty much. I'm not entirely sold on the face yet though, I feel like Star Wars captured Harrison Ford's likeness better. This one is also a bit too cutesy/cartoonish maybe. I'm not sure. I'll have to see it in person I guess.

No, that's from the Hulkbuster 76164. The magazine it also came with is issue 15 from 2022 (at least in Germany by the looks of it).

If it turns out to be the Keaton batcave we might not see any batmobiles included at all, rather they might leave a space open to store the batmobile and batwing that comes in the other sets. So maybe the batskiboat will come in the set? Speaking of the possibility of a Keaton batcave, remember how the Daily Bugle was designed because the designers weren't really able to work on any MCU sets because of covid? (Or something like that.) What if, because of the many delays for the flash movie, they decided to take that delay as an opportunity to design a complimenting batcave for that set. Which opens up the possibility for more flash related figures. However that obviously wouldn't be too good for the bat family and other figures (unless they decided to put Batman and Robin and Batman Forever into the mix)

It's not about what we want, it's more about what we can expect. Sure it can go either way, but with Lego's track record with DC it's not strange some of us are sceptical about what will be included.
