  1. these sound rather boring, nothing new really. I'm afraid we won't get real Clone Wars figures after all... Or is there still hope?
  2. That's a really cute build. Didn't even cross my mind they could include Norbert in the Advent Calendar, but it's probably the perfect location now that we already received Hagrid's Hut. Fingers Crossed
  3. That would make Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles an anime On a side note. About the old time travel rumor, what if that's still what's going on? It would explain the sudden inclusion of more modern and futuristic figures. It would be a "journey through time to the west". Kinda farfetched maybe, but it could be interesting.
  4. It did receive tons of attention for the second wave? People wrote page after page about it. With the current third wave however, there really isn't that much of a need for the Shrieking Shack anymore as we received all variants besides werewolf Lupin, who better fits in a cmf series because of the molds. That's hardly an indication. It's just a holiday themed Harry Potter build that won in a holiday themed Harry Potter contest.
  5. Brickheadz baby yoda looks so much better than regular yoda. He's even bigger with the ears and all. I love him. Might become the first brickheadz I will personally buy.
  6. They might, I mean it's the only character that doesn't require a new mold. I wonder if they'll use the scratchy tail for Tigger. I think it could work really well
  7. I would actually be really happy if that happens. Yeah, I'm still searching for it as well :/
  8. Odd how the build is mirrored on the box
  9. I'm still very much interested. I just wanna pick up the 4 main characters (5 if you count the horse) and if there are any nice builds like a waterfall I might pick it up as well. About the creatures, I think they might just give characters like the demon bull a few identical minions, might even be the leaked one.
  10. I can imagine him being about the size of a BrickHeadz figure. I really wonder how they will do the legs and arms. I'm really hyped right now.
  11. That's an interesting strategy, I wonder what will be the results. I think so, would be quite impossible for the average Lego builder to build the thing otherwise. Or at least I hope they will, wouldn't really make sense if they didn't.
  12. That's interesting, I wonder what he'll look like. They better have a good design for him
  13. Wait is that for real? That would be awesome! I don't own the nanoscale castle but this makes me seriously reconsider. Either way if I could use the lights for the system scale sets it would be even better.
  14. I can see where you're coming from. But I still think profit and satisfaction can go hand in hand, at least for me. Personally I'm still very happy with how Lego does things when it comes to one off themes. They're often far better than long lasting themes under Disney. The one wave of Scooby Doo we got was very solid. Great quality figures. Tons of new molds for the main characters. A theme can only have so much new molds in a single wave. The villains obviously come second place, so this is probably all they could do with the mold budget they had left. Many of the other monsters would've required new molds to be accurate, which wasn't possible anymore. Besides we don't know the thought process behind these choices. Perhaps the designers chose these monsters because they're personal favourites of them, thinking they would be so for other fans as well. I still think Scooby Doo was one of the more solid licensed themes in recent years. Sure one more wave would've been nice. But did it really sold that well to be able to get multiple waves? Sure Scooby Doo is nice, but I think we're greatly overestimating how popular Scooby Doo is with children nowadays, it's really not as big of a deal as the evergreen themes. But I'll leave it at that, as I don't think we'll ever agree on this subject, which is fine, it greatly depends on what someone priorities in Lego.
  15. Well they've made sets on scenes with less screentime for other themes in the past (looking at you star wars). And boats not lining up with the other one means nothing considering we're all still expecting a Chamber of Secrets somewhere in the future. I can tell you that basilisk won't line up with the one we're having right now. And the posing and playability on such a small section really doesn't matter. I mean we've seen the courtyard in the Great Hall... Besides would they ever make a section of Hogwarts that's somewhat smaller than the ones we're used to, then the boathouse would be a great way to fill it up. It doesn't even have to be a complete building, it could be just a facade or something that only slightly resembles the place. Non of the buildings so far were complete, so why should the boathouse be? We're always so quick to say something is impossible, while Lego has proven time and time again that they don't take their own rules that serious. They surprised us every single time. But we'll see I guess.
  16. Well except of course for the Mirror of Erised with Dumbledore and his socks. I also don't recall ever seeing the inside of the Beauxbaton carriage. They are including random castle sections that aren't based on anything that actually appeared on screen in basically all Hogwarts sets so I don't see why they wouldn't do one for an actual location. The inside doesn't even have to be accurate, non the the sets have 100% accurate interiors, neither does it have to fit an enormous boat. I can see them doing a small, brickbuild one like in the old lake task set. And I know there are tons of locations Lego and fans priorities, but that doesn't mean they can't put it in as an extra to other hogwarts sections, it really doesn't have to be much bigger than the ballroom in the clock tower, maybe about the size of Dumbledore's office tower. I'm not saying it will happen, and if it does it will probably take some time anyway, but I'm just saying there's no reason to rule it out.
  17. 18. Yeah this looks exactly like the last Ninjago wave. But just to keep myself from disappointment, I better prepare myself for a Bull Demon Mech
  19. I mean sure, they won't do a set based solely on the boathouse, but I don't see why they wouldn't be able to just include it in a bigger Hogwarts section with a small boat or something. They even included a section based on the boathouse back in 2001 with set 4709 when we didn't even have a scene around it yet. It's just the boathouse after all, not the Snape murder room.
  20. I don't think there's too much of a problem for making the boathouse as long as they don't include Snape. It's not like the interiors would be that accurate anyway and they already included it in the nanoscale D2C Hogwarts. I think it's just like the astronomy tower and graveyard, leave out the one who dies and they're good. Besides most people will most likely rather connect the location to the arriving scene, especially those who read the books as he died in the Shrieking Shack. It could also stand on it's own like Hagrid's Hut and (supposedly) the greenhouses as unlike the other castle sections, this one isn't connected, only by stairs. I don't think they care that much if everything lines up perfectly like in the movies. Bridges would indeed be more tricky as there's nothing to connect it to. But I can see them doing the wooden bridge similar to the Spider-Man bridge battle set.
  21. What if they just base it on the books? As they enter public domain next year. It would make it easier mold wise. Although I wouldn't like it as much if they do.
  22. Yes that was the post I remembered, thank you for finding it again.
  23. Didn't more recent leaks suggest it was somehow able to connect to the castle?
  24. I'm not sure. But I assume it would've been made clear to the visitors if that was the case. Besides the figures it supposedly comes with wouldn't really make sense without the car (whether it's Ron or Fred and George).
