Scooby Doo Mafia: All Fired Up - Day 3
mediumsnowman replied to Darkdragon's topic in LEGO Mafia and Role-Play Games
I tracked him and he did nothing. -
My order from a LegoShop@Home is missing a set...
mediumsnowman replied to Archidelic's topic in General LEGO Discussion
This happened to a friend of mine. She ordered Batboat Harbor Pursuit, Chain Cycle Ambush, Bad Cop Car Chase, and a small Friends set to qualify for the train. It came with everything except it was missing the Bad Cop set. Everything was listed, she was billed for all of them, but the set just wasn't there. She contacted Customer Service and they sent her the missing set free of charge. -

I suppose they could leave me alive so town would waste a lynch tomorrow... That's approaching WIFOM territory. But then they run the risk of me tracking their killer. It's much more likely they'll just kill me tonight. -

I am who I say I am. Anyone who counterclaims is a lying scummo, and they had better be lynched when I flip town tomorrow. -

It looks like I won't be able to dodge this lynch by defending myself. I'll make things clear: I am the TOWN TRACKER I tracked Scubacarrot last night and he did nothing. I'll get killed tonight as we don't have a protective role, but at least you'll be able to get some information from lynching Lynn or Trenton. If you decide to lynch me anyways, you are going to look really stupid when I flip town tomorrow. -

How do I dig myself out when all my defenses come off as scummy? I really don't know what else to do at this point. -

I realized he was right. I kept trying to defend myself but I was only digging myself into a deeper hole. -

Hmm. Every time Trenton opens his mouth he looks scummiest and scummier. I can't really add anything to Patti's statements, except you co- hosted Blacktron and I was the scum killer. I specifically asked a question about the kill passing on in the Role PM thread; you have no excuse for not knowing. Unvote: Lynn Benton (TrumpetKing) Vote: Trenton Collins (JackJonespaw) Dragonfire is right; I've played all my cards defending myself. I took Patti's advice and shut up. *scummier and scummier -

Oops, I missed TrumpetKing's vote. I suppose that's why it's an unofficial vote tally. -

Here, I'll take an unofficial vote tally. Desiree Walters (mediumsnowman) 3: def, Dragonfire, JackJonespaw Lynn Benton (TrumpetKing) 1: mediumsnowman Trenton Collins (JackJonespaw) 1: Piratedave84 Nonvoting 2: Scubacarrot, TrumpetKing In the voting announcement, DD says 5 are required to lynch. Is it supposed to be 4? -
My local TRU had a whole shelf of 40090 Halloween Bat's for $3.99! 4 dollars for nearly 160 pieces, mostly black slopes? I bought 4.

Sure, I'm "hostile and agitated," if that is what you want to call it. I'm pissed off, as it looks like I'm going to be wrongfully lynched. When I flip town, you guys had better take a nice, long look at Lynn Benton over here. -
Thanks Graham! Glad you like it! I threw the medical scene in at the last minute, and didn't think of that dialogue until I was actually posting. Thanks! Thanks Danny! I had a lot of fun with all the details. The helmet isn't supposed to mean anything, I was looking for something to fill the space atop the bookshelf and Rhodey just seemed to jump into my hand... Awesome!

That's an odd thing to say. If I were scum (which I'm not, I'm town) why couldn't my scumbuddy kill you? I still think Carla acted really scummy, but she is confirmed town since she died. -

I would say of all the living players, Benton is the scummiest in my eyes. -

Vote: Lynn Benton (TrumpetKing) Is everyone absolutely insane? I'm getting votes for defending myself and building a case against the scummiest living player? -
Very cool! I don't particularly care for the front windows on the apartment, but everything else, especially the interiors, is fantastic! I'm not sure I would want to live above a 24-hr fast food joint though...

Fantastic! The boat is really innovative and I love the lamp and the bookcases. I can imagine those couches would be hard for a minifigure to sit in, though...

Who am I suspicious of? Geez, did you not read the whole monologue? I'm suspicious of you, and later Dragonfire for twisting the wording of my argument against me. Every time you weigh in on a discussion you don't seem to want to take a clear viewpoint. You go back and forth on everything before deciding. Making an educated decision or stirring up confusion? I also notice you've jumped on both bandwagons so far, the cop/tracker wagon and the Carla wagon. The relation between you and Bob's death is NOT the main point of my argument, though it is a troubling detail that first brought you under my suspicion. Yes, we've all heard the "If I were scum I would be smarter than that" argument, and it's not particularly effective. -

I read through all Bob's posts and I don't see where he ever said I was his "top suspect." The closest I can find is this: He actually wrote a paragraph documenting Lynn's scumminesa, and barely a sentence for me. I would say Lynn was his top suspect. Twisting my own argument against me, Mr. Bird? ... Ping. The word up there is supposed to "scumminess," not "scumminesa." -

Carla's comments seemed exactly like a slip of the tongue by one of the scum. I was certainly convinced, and apparently so were a lot of the others. Or else they wouldn't have voted for her. I don't think it's parroting, expressing surprise/disappointment at one's alignment when revealed is very common.
