    It’s funny and a great way to get another hot dog. Better than using the tired old chicken leg piece like they usually do. Plus, it’s a nice callback to the Indominus Escape short movie!

    You just had to mention a LotR D2C, didn’t you. I would love a Barad-dûr, but I don’t think Lego has any new licensed sets that have been rumored except for Powerpuff Girls and Harry Potter.

    The movie comes out on June 22nd and the sets come out in April.

    Existing licenses were stated separately- the Marvel D2C for this year was listed as such, not as “Licensed IP”. I doubt any license that’s not Super Heroes or Star Wars could carry a $500 set except for Harry Potter.

    Those descriptions were removed at the request of Universal. I don’t think set descriptions can be found in the wild anymore.

    The set looks much better than I expected. The little vehicle is boxy and weird but the gates look great and I love the other builds. Figures are cool as well! I hope the set is only $40-50 but I’m expecting $60-70.

    Their mouths both closed fully, though. There’s clearly a small gap left between the lower jaw on the Carnotaurus.

    So we would get official Infinity War images immediately, without the fuzzy catalog leaks?

    I’m sure the images for Infinity War will release soon. They’re probably being much more secretive about those ones and making more of an effort to prevent them from getting out.

    It’s not even a set picture, it’s just part of one showing a new dinosaur and a new figure. Infinity War pictures will come soon enough.

    I’m sure the mouth will be able to close. It would be ridiculous if it couldn’t.

    I like to call sets like that “minifigure compatible”- nowhere near “minifigure scale”, but huge, detailed, and with lots of playable and displayable space for figures. They will not make a micro scale Hogwarts. A $500 micro scale Hogwarts would not be popular and it would also be a very high price. I think a micro scale one would only be like $150-200.

    The Carnotaurus looks great!! I would like to see some red and it would’ve been nice to get a new medium sized theropod body mold, but Lego dinosaurs are never accurate in size and this looks great. At least we’re getting something new! Can’t wait to see the other new dinosaurs, and I’m still holding out hope that Rexy will be a little different.

    It could easily be time travel then. It would be quite odd for Cap to shave off his beard and dig out his old suit from 6 years ago, and he looks to be standing in wreckage from the Battle of New York in the images.

    Pictures aren’t out to the public yet. Also, Cap was in his first Avengers outfit, meaning it’s a flashback or time travel. He can still die in 3.

    Just finished building both Black Panther sets. The mine track is bigger than I expected but I would really prefer one piece of curved track for some more play value. I wouldn’t gladly paid $30 for the set if the figures had leg printing and we got a bigger mine section. The cart is cool but doesn’t tip the vibranium out very well. The rhino is amazing! I love the build even though it was a bit sticker heavy. It looks perfect. The figures are great except for the lack of leg print and ear piece print. The ears not having printing doesn’t bother me as much in person but the legs definitely do. I’m going to try Black Widow’s AoU legs on the blue Black Panther suit, and I’ve got two pairs of Zod’s legs to use on each figure as well. Okoye looks very good but I would’ve liked a bit of leg print or even another color for the legs, like Nakia’s, as I just don’t like the black paired with the dark orange very much. Both Killmongers are great and I love the new mask mold! Nakia’s hair and torso are gorgeous as are her circular blades, and you even get an extra one! Klaue is cool as well, with a great face and I like the look of his cannon arm. The Royal Talon Fighter is right up there with the Milano as one of my favorite Lego vehicles ever and I adore the design. The stickers really improve its unique look and I love all of the useable space inside! Overall, they’re amazing sets and I’m really glad I got them!

    I hope there isn’t a second Great Hall in the D2C. A $500 castle without the Hall would be amazing, since they can focus on other aspects and include more detail in things like Gryffindor Tower.

    Darkseid just had a rounded head with printing on it. There was no molded helmet, so it could be easily reprinted for Thanos. Edit: Never mind. I didn’t realize he had a molded helmet. Thanos would need a new headpiece but I think they could easily make one if they tried.

    Hulkbuster could be 48 or 49 but then we’re still missing one before 50. Maybe a surprise suit in the movie that’ll be in the exclusive or D2C set?

    If Lego got enough advance notice to make a Thanos BrickHeadz without his helmet, wouldn’t they know about the lack of a helmet when they were making the figure? Now it seems like they were just lazy and didn’t want to make a new mold for him so they reused the comic one. The BrickHeadz look really good! I’ve only bought a couple (Iron Man, Belle, Salazar, and Cyborg) but I’ll definitely be picking all of these up.

    Cull Obsidian looks great- skin color isn’t as greenish as the statue but it looks good. No leg printing but I still like the figure. My biggest issue is the same as Corvus Glaive- the large singular colored eyes look out of place next to the beady smaller eyes of the actual character in the movie.

    Marvel went to great efforts to hide the eyepatch. It wasn’t even in concept art so we can’t really blame Lego for not including it. Hopefully Thor will get an eyepatch in the Avengers 4 sets.

    Same here, my packages came yesterday. Super happy to save $10 on sets that were already amazing with great prices! I can only hope that Amazon discounts the Fallen Kingdom sets this quickly too.
