  1. Do we have prices for these sets yet? I’m curious about how expensive the T. rex one will be- it sounds like an extremely simple and small build but Lego T. rexes usually only come in $70+ sets.
  2. I’m not too bothered by the pizzeria and Peter’s room being folded into the Sanctum as long as it looks like just the Sanctum from the outside. It adds more playability and it sounds like they represent all the important parts of the Sanctum anyway. I bought another old Sanctum set thinking they might do this so I can modify it into one coherent building if I want to.
  3. Snoke’s ship has about 1400 pieces, I believe. I’d expect the D2C to have more, especially since Marvel sets are rarely as overpriced as Star Wars sets. I’d expect 1500-1800 pieces.
  4. I’m dying for pics of Cull Obsidian and the sets to come out. I’m very excited after all this new news we’ve been hearing.
  5. The sets sound a bit disappointing. I’m happy with the new dinosaurs but reusing the exact same Blue molds twice in one line is ridiculous. She should’ve just been kept in the biggest set and a different dinosaur like the Baryonyx should’ve been in the smaller set she’s in. 5 Owen figures is complete overkill, especially when compared to the 1 he got with the regular sets last time. I’m definitely picking up the Juniors sets because I honestly don’t have a problem with most of the builds (even though they’re always simplistic) and they’ve got awesome sounding dinosaurs. Rexy being a reuse is kind of boring to me, since they could’ve printed her darker like she is in the movie and include the new scars from her battle with the Indominus. The lack of a Mosasaurus is again disappointing as is the lack of popular new herbivores like a Stegosaurus or a large sauropod (although that would make a set very very expensive). An Ian Malcolm figure would make for a great promotional item given that he doesn’t seem to be involved with the action happening in the film but the absence of Lockwood is entirely inexcusable. There’s an entire set revolving around a dinosaur breakout at HIS mansion and he isn’t even there?? I’m very glad we’re getting the Stgyimoloch and a Carnotaurus even if it’s too big. The illustration still looked great and I’ll take any new large dinosaurs I can get. The babies sound like a cool new mold as well. I’m just going to get these from Amazon probably in June when I see the movie and they’ll be discounted.
  6. He said it’s a closed building that opens by splitting in half like Avengers Tower so it sounds pretty complete to me.
  7. The exposed eyes are not a mistake, though. The suit has the ability to open the white eyes like that so it’s accurate to the movie.
  8. His new outfit is very similar to the Ragnarok one and is represented well enough by the same figure. A new face would’ve been nice, though.
  9. I’m not too bothered by those reuses. Bruce is in the same outfit as he is in Ragnarok so the reuse makes sense. Rocket’s look doesn’t appear to have changed either. T’Challa’s suit will most likely be the same (I don’t spot any differences in the trailer between the BP and IW suits). Vision’s regular hero look never changes and I love the figure we have so that’s fine (although a human Vision figure would be nice), and Doctor Strange also looks exactly the same. Star-Lord could’ve used a new variant but oh well, we’ve gotten great versions of him in the past. Overall we got new designs for the figures with new outfits and I’m happy that the reuses made sense at least. I doubt those are the strongest contenders for a D2C although I would enjoy them. Avengers Academy or a large Quinjet would make the most sense, since they appear across multiple MCU films, are already iconic, and the D2C will stay on shelves for at least 2 years so they would want a set that keeps its appeal.
  10. The Sanctum is $100 and not the D2C. If it was then we wouldn’t have heard this much information about it and we definitely would not have seen so many leaked figures.
  11. The one from the Royal Talon Fighter Attack.
  12. A set like that would be a D2C and we’ve already got a list of the 2018 D2C sets that doesn’t include a DC one. It’s Marvel’s turn this year.
  13. There’s definitely no early access, unless it comes out in April and the early access starts from mid-March. The February store calendar doesn’t show any “VIPs get exclusive access to a new set” event.
  14. I think the biggest contenders for the D2C are Avengers Academy and a UCS style Quinjet. Also, we haven’t seen Scarlet Witch wearing anything except that jacket- she wears it in the scenes filmed in Scotland as well as in Wakanda when Vision is behind bars. I don’t know if she has a different outfit but I’d expect her figure to be wearing the most prominent outfit from the marketing so far.
  15. What polybag? If you’re talking about the Ultimate Batmobile one it leaked a while ago.
  16. Scarlet Witch should not be a CW repeat. She appears to have differently colored hair in this movie and she’s wearing a green jacket, nothing like the red trench coat outfit she wore during the airport battle. I think the missing set numbers are curious. Maybe they’re two Infinity War sets releasing over the summer because they have spoilers? I think we need a leaker like @just2good to weigh in about this and the rumored 7th exclusive set. Has that been confirmed?
  17. Weird that we’re getting Lowery since he isn’t in the movie. It’s probably based on the first one given the inclusion of him and the ACU vehicle.
  18. Yeah, I think that was an accident. He used the Mark 47 in Homecoming, I’m assuming the new Hulkbuster is 48 and then his awesome new suit is 49.
  19. PSA: Harley’s truck, Egghead’s mech, and the Space Shuttle are all 20% off on Walmart’s website. The prices are dropped to $24, $40, and $64.
  20. How do you know that? Did you see images? The arm extensions must be those brown vines that have been next to the figure in some images.
  21. The official release date was always March 1st, 2018. That’s always when these sets come out.
  22. Set descriptions sound amazing! Nice to see some Power Bursts in Marvel sets (I’m hoping we eventually get trans red for Scarlet Witch). The new Milano seems awesome and I totally called that that would be the ship in the Last Battle set. Sounds like it’s got a good enough interior and even has space for the Gauntlet. I’m assuming the 7th retail exclusive set and the D2C will both be released on March 1st but it’s possible the retail exclusive (or both) contains spoilers and will come during the summer wave (like the Spider-Man Civil War set).
  23. I’m also confused about the rhino. Is it an actual animal or a mech? I’m thinking about picking up another Royal Talon Fighter as well, either without figures or I’ll sell them off. The new figures are less detailed and I wish the Black Panther/Golden Jaguar suits had leg printing. It was $60.
  24. Even with bigfigs I think one more figure needed to be in each set. There’s 3 minifigs in the Last Battle and 4 in the Sanctum Sanctorum (not counting bigfigs). I think that’s too little for the prices but hopefully the builds make up for it.
  25. I expected 6 figures in a $80 set, like in the Airport Battle. And a $100 set should have 7-8 figures, like the Bridge Battle.
